Chapter 241 The Little Fairy’s Nightmare

Chapter 241 The Little Fairy’s Nightmare

The little goblin lives in a simple environment. He has been carefree since childhood and is cared for and loved by the adult goblins. His life goes smoothly and he should not have any worries or fears.

However, there are five goblins who are different.

When they were cubs, they experienced a life-and-death disaster.

Thirteen years ago, fifteen-year-old Kumandi and five-year-olds Sperian, Disio, Angel, and Budno followed the adult fairies to the south of the Fairy Forest to pray for branches from the Amethyst Tree, where they encountered pirates.

There are necromancers and dark elves among that group of pirates.

The necromancer was stopped by adult goblins on the beach, but the dark elves quietly sneaked into the forest and tried to kidnap the little goblin.

It was a life-and-death struggle with a huge disparity in strength.

The innocent little goblin was hunted by the dark elf and nearly died. Fortunately, the Elf King arrived in time, ended the dark elf's life, and saved the little goblin.

It was a thrilling experience that the little goblins will never forget.

So, when they entered the nightmare, they were unsurprisingly plunged into fear.

Kumandi, Disio, Angel, and Budno were swallowed by the darkness and lost consciousness for a moment. When they regained consciousness, they found that their disguises had disappeared and their bodies had turned back into small people. They were in a dark forest, and a cold voice that was both familiar and unfamiliar came from behind them.

"Little ones, you can't escape."

Kumandi looked back and his pupils contracted violently.

He had been fifteen when he met the Dark Elf that year, and his memory of her was vivid. Even after thirteen years, he had never forgotten her evil scarlet eyes.

Those eyes flashed with a strange light, like a wild beast locking onto its prey, full of cruelty and violence, which was chilling.

The fear buried deep in his heart suddenly erupted. Kumandi pulled the frightened Budno up and shouted in a deep voice, "Run!"

Angel and Disio were already petrified by the sight of the dark elves, hovering motionless in mid-air, completely oblivious to any reaction. It wasn't until Kumandi's loud shout that they snapped back to their senses and hurriedly followed him into flight.

The dark elves chased and threatened at the same time, their figures flashing back and forth, lingering like ghosts, creating fear in the fleeing goblins.

Budno was so scared that he started to cry, with two big tear bubbles hanging from the corners of his eyes. If Kumandi hadn't pulled him to fly, he wouldn't have been able to fly at all.

"What should we do? What should we do? He's going to catch up with us!"

"Don't panic, don't panic—" Angel soothed, "We must stay calm, we will definitely be able to get rid of him."

"Is it all we can do? Can't we fight back?" Discio asked tremblingly.

"Don't be silly, we are no match for him." Budno said nervously.

Kumandi stared at the darkness ahead, frowning. "That's not right."

Budno asked, "What...what's wrong?"

Kumandi said, "One is missing."

Dixio also asked, "What's missing?"

Kumandi stopped suddenly, and Desio and Angel almost bumped into his back.

"Kumandi, aren't we going to escape?" Angel was pacing anxiously.

"No more running away." Kumandi let go of Budno's hand, took out a high-level magic wand, and aimed it at the dark elf that was chasing him.

"Why...why?" Budno hid behind him and asked tremblingly.

Kumandi said calmly, "Missing Sperian."

Dizio said, "Ah." "Yeah, where's Sperian?"

Angel quickly took out his magic wand and recited the light defense array without thinking. When the dark elves approached, the four goblins were already protected by a circle of light.

Kumandi stared at the dark elf with sharp eyes and said, "I don't know what's going on, but we are no longer cubs. We don't need to be afraid of him."

Desio and Budno suddenly woke up.

"Oh yeah, we're not cubs anymore."

They chanted spells in unison and launched magical attacks on the dark elves.

The battle is about to begin.

Ephite is a special dark elf.

His exceptional talent freed him from many obstacles during his growth. The discovery of the exorcism potion allowed him to suppress the darkness within his body early on, freeing him from violent emotions and allowing him to maintain his composure.

Trapped in the Demon Lord's nightmare, he did not fall into fear, but instead protected the two dark elf cubs.

What Lanno and Luca feared most was not nearly dying in the trial of the Unibal Swamp, but being abandoned by Ephet.

As Efit hugged them tightly, the fear in his heart disappeared and his mind became clear again.

"Efit, where is this?" Luke asked in confusion.

"It's so dark!" Lanno shrank into Efit's arms.

"Don't be afraid." Efit hugged them and comforted them, "It must be that demon king who trapped us with black magic."

Luke flinched and asked, "How can we get out of here?"

Efit pondered and said, "Find a way to find the Demon Lord's true form and kill him."

Lan Nuo's eyes widened and he cried out, "The big monster can't be killed!"

Efit was silent for a while, then whispered, "We have to give it a try."

In the dark passage, ten-year-old Seleu ran in fear, as if some terrible monster was chasing him from behind.

"Huff, huff—"

Unable to run any longer, he leaned against a wall, breathing rapidly.

Although the passage was gloomy, it was illuminated by torches every ten meters. Seleu was currently standing near one of the torches, its orange glow illuminating his gorgeous princely attire and his sweat-covered face.

Originally, he was attending a banquet hosted by Uncle Wang. Out of curiosity, he chased a black cat into this passage, and as he walked, he got lost.

When he decided to leave, he couldn't find his way back.

After all, he was just a pampered little prince who usually had followers when he went out and was rarely alone. Now he was in a gloomy underground passage and felt terrified.

He drew the sword hanging at his waist and moved forward cautiously.

Before he knew it, he discovered a prison cell.

Why do you think it is a prison?

Because there was a large rusty lock on the iron gate and a small barred window on top, from which low growls like those of wild beasts could be heard from time to time.

Seleu approached suspiciously. He was not tall enough, so he could only stand on tiptoe and try to reach the barred window to see what kind of prisoners were locked inside.

After looking for a long time, he couldn't see anything clearly. When he decided to leave, a pair of pale hands suddenly appeared on the grille window.

"ah!"

Seleu was startled and took several steps back.

A bony face was pressed tightly against the barred window, its slightly protruding eyes filled with red bloodshot, staring straight at Seleu.

Seleu felt a chill down his spine, and an immense fear welled up in his heart. He gripped the sword tightly in his hand and asked in a trembling voice, "Who...who are you?"

It was a woman's face.

Although she looked haggard, her beauty could still be vaguely seen.

"Dan...Dan...Danton...my child...are you coming to visit your mother?"

The woman's eyes showed longing, her hands excitedly grasped the iron fence, and a hoarse sound came out of her mouth.

"Good boy, please let me out, okay? Mommy doesn't blame you... not at all..."

Seleu didn't dare to move, and listened to the woman's words in a daze.

Denton?

You mean uncle?

Why does she claim to be my uncle's mother?

Isn't my uncle's mother his grandmother? But my grandmother... passed away twenty years ago!

Seeing that Seleu didn't answer, the woman in the cell suddenly went crazy and screamed.

“Ahhhhhh—”

"Denton! You devil from hell! Get out of my stomach! Ahhhhh——"

"No, no, no, I don't want children!"

"Mother...save me! Save me! I don't want to give birth to this child! He's a devil!"

"Denton! Denton—please, don't hurt me, wuwuwu, I'm your mother, please—"

Seleu was filled with fear and retreated step by step.

He was frightened by the woman's hysterics.

Whether what she said was true or false, it caused great fear in his heart.

Seleucus fled as fast as he could, away from the cell and away from the crazy woman.

He couldn't believe what the woman said.

If she was really his grandmother, she should be an old lady with wrinkles all over her face, not a young woman who looked only in her early twenties.

My grandmother's portrait is still hanging on the wall of the palace, and it looks completely different from this woman.

Seleu ran madly, panting, until he could no longer hear the woman's screams. Then he stopped and leaned against the wall to rest.

After his breathing calmed down, he wiped the sweat from his face and continued to move forward. As he walked, he turned into a stone chamber.

This stone chamber is different from the prison cell. It is clean and there are no strange people inside, except for the relief on the wall, which attracts attention.

The relief depicts a handsome man wearing a crown and a battle robe. He stands majestically, his hands tightly gripping the hilt of his sword, the tip of the sword stuck in the ground, his eyes looking straight ahead with determination, and he exudes a majestic aura.

Seleu slowly approached, looked up at the stone sculpture, and was deeply attracted to the man.

who is he?

Why was it carved into a relief and hidden in a dark underground passage?

Seleu's gaze moved downwards and he saw a line of words in the lower right corner of the relief.

[Ced Trick]

This is……

Seleu's eyes widened in surprise.

Ced Trick, a prince of Cecilia, is one of the protagonists of the famous elven poem "The Girl and the Swordsman".

In order to protect the elf girl, Seid Trick transformed into the Sword of Carlos and killed the evil people who besieged them.

His story spread far and wide, and every Cecilian was proud of him.

However, after the War of the Gods, the Sword of Carlos disappeared, and the Cecilians could no longer sense the existence of the magic sword.

Seleu knelt in front of the relief, clasped his hands together, and prayed devoutly to the ancestors on the relief.

"Great Ced Tricker, I am Prince Seleu Tricker of Cecilia. Please grant me the power to become the master of the Sword of Carlos!"

As if in response to him, a white light shot out from the embossed sword and suddenly penetrated into the center of Seleu's eyebrows.

Seleu had a splitting headache, cried out in pain, and lost consciousness.

When he woke up, he was already lying on the bed in the bedroom, and his mother gently wiped his forehead with a wet towel.

Seeing him awake, the queen cried with joy. "My child, you are finally awake."

"Mother...what's wrong with me?" Seleu asked in confusion.

The queen hugged him and stroked his hair. "You silly boy, how could you run around at a party? If Cecil hadn't found you, you would have drowned in the lake."

Seleu was confused: "Lake?"

Is that the ornamental lake at Uncle Wang’s house?

But, he clearly went...

Where did you go?

Ouch! My head hurts.

"Seleu, Seleu, how are you?" The queen saw him holding his head in pain and shouted nervously, "Doctor, go call a doctor!"

After a period of chaos, Seleucus regained his composure and lay down on the bed to rest. The queen had left temporarily for something, and only the maid was left in the bedroom to take care of him.

Seleu leaned against the pillow, drowsy, his mind confused, as if some important memory had been forgotten.

“Knock knock—”

There was a knock on the door. The maid went to open it, but when she saw the person coming, she respectfully stepped aside.

"Is Seryu asleep?" the visitor asked gently.

"Your Highness, the prince has just laid down." The maid replied softly.

"I'll go in and take a look." The man walked into the room, walked lightly to the bedside, and looked down at the little prince who was pretending to sleep.

Seleu didn't want to pay attention to the other person at first, but being stared at was really uncomfortable, so he had to open his eyes.

Beside the bed stood a young man.

He was wearing a black robe, with waist-length jet-black hair. He had handsome features, delicate and fair skin, deep eyes that were so black that you couldn't see the bottom. The corners of his mouth were slightly raised with a faint smile.

He is the younger brother of the current King of Cecilia, Denton Tricker, and Seleu's uncle.

However, Seleu disliked him.

He always felt that his uncle Wang was not as gentle as he seemed. Whenever he was stared at by his dark eyes, it was as if he was being stared at by a poisonous snake, cold and vicious.

Selyu pulled up the quilt to cover himself, leaving only half of his face exposed, and said sullenly, "Uncle Wang, I'm going to sleep."

Denton slowly bent down, his handsome face approaching the young prince, and to Seleu's surprise, he put his lips next to the little prince's ear.

"You, saw it?"

The gentle words made Seryu shudder.

The ruined palace was littered with corpses of elves and goblins. The once noble and elegant Elf King was now sitting in front of a broken pillar in a mess, holding a bloody golden-haired goblin in his arms.

"You can't save him."

The God of Darkness stood before him, looking down at him condescendingly.

The Elf King stood as still as a statue, ignoring the Dark God.

The God of Darkness was not angry. He slowly squatted down, stretched out his slender pale hand, pinched the Elf King's chin, and forced him to face him.

"The Son of Light can also be the Son of Darkness. Why would you rather choose that stupid fellow Ryant than be my child?"

"My lovely Ferris."
