Chapter 289 Fierce Battle

Nali looked at Su Yan with a face full of joy, shouting excitedly, "We succeeded! We actually did it! Now, as long as we can defeat that incredibly powerful warden, we'll be able to escape this horrible place completely!" Shalltear, standing beside her, couldn't hide her excitement either. She couldn't wait to say, "Could it be that we're finally leaving this damn place? My abilities are severely suppressed here, and I can't fully utilize them. It's so frustrating and suffocating!" However, Su Yan didn't respond to their words. He simply cast his gaze silently into the distance. Not far ahead, a figure gradually emerged and solidified.

This figure clutched a heavy chain, emitting a chilling aura of terror, as if everything around him was as fragile as an ant. Undoubtedly, this person was the ruler of this Abyssal Prison—Warden Zorval.

Zoval's cold, murderous gaze instantly locked onto Su Yan. He asked in a low, slightly mocking voice, "Goblin? How dare a tiny creature like you attempt to destroy the territory I rule?" Su Yan looked directly at the warden fearlessly and said righteously, "Hand him over! Otherwise, I will show no mercy and personally eliminate him!" Hearing this, Zoval's lips curled up slightly, revealing a disdainful sneer. He spoke again, "Human? Humph, I don't know who you mean by 'human'. What I have here are just wandering ghosts."

"Where is Sylvanas!" Su Yan stared at the Jailer in front of him and asked.

Zoval suddenly sneered, "Haha, do you think I made her become weird? It was all voluntary. If you don't believe me, you can go and ask yourself."

Zoval's lips curled up into a cold, mocking smile. He casually waved his arm, and instantly, a powerful and mysterious energy surged from his hand. Then, Sylvanas' graceful figure slowly emerged from the side like a ghost, and walked step by step towards the direction of Su Yan and the others.

"Sylvanas, go and explain things to them yourself!" Zoval sneered, his tone filled with disdain and contempt. Hearing this, Sylvanas turned slightly and cast her gaze towards Su Yan and the others.

"Who are you? What do you want from me here?" Sylvanas frowned, her eyes revealing vigilance and confusion.

At this moment, Shalltear, who was standing nearby, hurriedly stepped forward and said anxiously, "We are here to rescue you at your sister's request!"

The confusion on Sylvanas's face grew more intense, and she murmured to herself, "Sister? My sister..."

"That's right!" Su Yan nodded, gazing calmly at Sylvanas. He continued calmly, "She sincerely hopes that you will return home safely."

However, Sylvanas remained unmoved by these words. Instead, she remained calm and asked calmly, "Haha, why is that? Why should I go back?"

Seeing this, Zoval's smug smile widened. He laughed out loud, "Hahahaha, well said! That's true. Why would she go back? Did you hear that? This was all her choice!" Su Yan frowned and looked at Sylvanas. "Are you crazy? Are you willing to fall?"

Sylvanas's lips curled up slightly, a cold, disdainful smile forming as she sneered, "Hmph, what does this have to do with you? Stop meddling in other people's business!" Before she finished speaking, Su Yan suddenly lifted his foot and stomped hard. His figure shot out like lightning, instantly leaping across space and appearing before Sylvanas. Without hesitation, he reached out and grabbed Sylvanas like an eagle catching a chick, then flew off with her to the side at high speed.

"What the hell are you trying to do? Let her go!" Zoval's expression suddenly changed, his eyes filled with anxiety and anger as he shouted. However, before he could make a move, Shalltear stepped forward and stood in front of Zoval, blocking his path.

"Don't be impatient. How about we sit down and have a calm chat?" Shalltear said with her arms folded across her chest and a sneer on her face as she looked at Zoval.

Zoval was so anxious that he had no time to pay attention to Shalltear's words. He just stared anxiously ahead, trying to find Su Yan and Sylvanas. However, they had already disappeared without a trace.

"Damn it! This is my world. None of you can leave without my permission!" Zoval roared in anger, gritting his teeth.

Facing Zoval's threat, Shalltear remained calm and composed. She sneered and replied, "Haha, don't worry. We'll naturally make Sylvanas return here willingly. If not, what's the point of me staying here?"

Zoval's brow furrowed, his eyes filled with worry, but he knew there was nothing he could do but patiently await Sylvanas's return. Beside him, Shalltear stood gracefully, arms folded, anxiously awaiting Su Yan's arrival. However, she knew her mission wasn't to fight, but to contain the enemy. Furthermore, the situation here was extremely unfavorable, making it difficult for her to exploit her strengths. With no other options, she remained where she was, locked in a stalemate. The two glared at each other, and the atmosphere became tense.
