Chapter 293 Argus the Destroyer

"Sister!" Vereesa cried excitedly, her voice filled with uncontrollable joy. When her eyes caught sight of Sylvanas' familiar figure, a smile of surprise blossomed on her face, like a blooming flower. With footsteps as light as a swallow, she swiftly reached Sylvanas's presence.

Sylvanas heard her sister's call and immediately turned her gaze to Vereesa, quickly walking towards her. Her eyes revealed a hint of tenderness and concern as she whispered, "Well, I'm back." These simple words seemed to hold an endless amount of warmth and comfort.

"That's wonderful!" Vereesa cried with joy, tears streaming down her cheeks. She hurriedly wiped away the tears, afraid to blur the image of her sister before her. Then, she murmured to herself, "If only my sister were here right now." Her tone was filled with deep longing for her elder sister Alleria.

Sylvanas nodded slightly, understanding Vereesa's feelings. She knew the "sister" Vereesa was referring to was their shared eldest sister, Alleria. Sylvanas couldn't help but grieve as she recalled Alleria's fate during the Draenor expedition. Back then, Alleria had been dragged by Turalyon into a mysterious, unknown region, and never returned. Everyone presumed her dead, but Vereesa remained convinced her sister was still alive, trapped somewhere unknown.

At this moment, Su Yan stood quietly by. He had originally intended to help Vereesa find Alleria's whereabouts, but since he had no idea where to find her, he had no idea where to start and had to give up. Vereesa turned her head and looked at Su Yan, her eyes gleaming with determination. She said, "Since you have found my sister, I will keep my promise and lead the entire elf race to join you."

Su Yan responded with a smile: "Well, don't worry, we goblins always keep our words and will never act recklessly! You can rest assured!" His words revealed full sincerity and confidence, which made people feel trustful.

Sylvanas nodded slightly, agreeing, "Well, we naturally have complete faith in your abilities and character." At that moment, Su Yan, who had been silent until then, suddenly raised his head and gazed straight ahead. This sudden movement puzzled Shalltear, who was standing nearby, and she quickly asked, "What's going on? What happened?" Su Yan, with a solemn expression, extended his right index finger and pointed into the distance. His voice was low and rapid, "Look over there! There's a strange light!" Hearing this, Shalltear hurriedly looked in the direction Su Yan pointed. Sure enough, at the far end of the sky, a faint blue light flickered, its light flickering on and off, appearing mysterious and unique.

"What kind of light is that?" Shalltear asked curiously. Su Yan took a deep breath and slowly explained, "I can't quite put my finger on it, but judging by the energy fluctuations it emanates, it's definitely unusual. It feels very strange, like a force from an unknown world." At this moment, Sylvanas, who had been observing silently, also noticed the anomaly. She frowned and whispered softly, "Indeed, I've never encountered this kind of energy fluctuation before. It's really unsettling." Before she finished speaking, Vereesa hurried over. Seeing this, Su Yan suddenly soared into the air, soaring into mid-air to gain a clearer view of the situation ahead. His eyes widened, his gaze fixed intently on the location of the blue light. It wasn't long before he made a discovery—near the light, a vague figure was gradually taking shape.

Sensing that powerful, heart-pounding aura, Su Yan's heart tightened, his face instantly turning pale. He didn't dare delay, quickly landing on the ground and announcing to everyone, "Oh no! That aura is truly terrifying. The other party is most likely an extremely dangerous and powerful being." Upon hearing this, Sylvanas quickly demanded, "What exactly is going on? Tell us in detail." After a moment's pause, Su Yan replied, "From what I can see, it seems to be a tall figure. Furthermore, next to it is a stone emitting a sacred aura." Just as everyone was lost in thought, Vereesa suddenly exclaimed, "Could it be someone from the Burning Legion?" Clearly, this speculation had everyone present on edge.

Su Yan's gaze slowly shifted to Vereesa. He understood what this meant. If the other party truly belonged to the dreaded Burning Legion, then this place was undoubtedly in extreme danger. It was very likely that the Burning Legion's main force had already targeted this place. They needed to act decisively and quickly arrange for evacuation.

However, Vereesa shook her head slightly, a solemn expression on her face. "It's too late! This place has been completely sealed off! The entire area has fallen under the control of the Burning Legion!" Hearing this, Su Yan's heart tightened, and he quickly looked up and around. At first, if he hadn't looked closely, he would have been unable to detect the abnormality around him. He only saw that the area was occasionally emitting a faint green light, as if it was shrouded by a mysterious power.

"What? They can actually stop us from leaving?" Shalltear's face was filled with astonishment, her eyes widening in disbelief. She had clearly not expected this situation, and for a moment, she couldn't accept the reality. Su Yan snorted coldly, his eyes fixed firmly on the distance. He said in a deep voice, "If that's the case, then there's only one choice: fight! No matter who leads this Burning Legion, I will never allow them to wantonly destroy this land." Standing nearby, Shalltear nodded without hesitation, expressing her support. "Don't worry, Su Yan, I will fight alongside you and lend you a helping hand!"
