Su Yan listened to Aurelia's incessant narration and nodded slightly. He responded, "From what you said, it seems that a new kingdom has been established here. So, we must have arrived in another world." He touched his chin thoughtfully, a curious smile on his face. "Hmm, it's really quite interesting."
After a moment of thought, Su Yan suddenly turned his gaze towards Aurelia and asked, "By the way, can you swim?"
Hearing this question, Alleria was stunned for a moment, then a look of hesitation crossed her face. After a long pause, she stammered, "Yes, I guess so..." In reality, only she knew that in the past, the elves had never been good at swimming. Otherwise, so many of their people wouldn't have lost their lives in that earth-shattering explosion.
Seeing Alleria's hesitation, Su Yan gently shook his head, then snapped his fingers without hesitation. Instantly, a brilliant light flashed, and a transparent shield instantly formed around Alleria's body, enveloping her completely.
Alleria's eyes widened, and she cast a startled glance at Su Yan with amazement. She had never imagined that this seemingly ordinary fellow before her could possess such astonishing abilities. Was he truly just an ordinary goblin? At first, Alleria hadn't given this question much thought, simply concentrating on chatting with her long-lost sisters, sharing their experiences and stories. However, now, as she regained her composure and reassessed Su Yan, an indescribable doubt welled up within her.
What exactly was Su Yan's origin? This goblin seemed to hold a hidden power, and the aura he emanated from his every move clearly indicated he was no ordinary being. The more Alleria thought about it, the more terrified she became. She even began to wonder if Su Yan was the legendary goblin god, reincarnated. After all, a being capable of displaying such immense power was truly unbelievable.
Su Yan, unaware of the complex thoughts swirling within Aurelia's heart, marched forward with unwavering determination, stepping into the turbulent sea without hesitation. Then, like a meteor, he plummeted towards the depths of the ocean, as if seeking some mysterious object hidden within.
Seeing this, Alleria quickly followed. The moment she entered the water, she was surprised to find a strange, shrouded light enveloped her. This light, like an invisible shield, not only kept the water out but also gave her the uncanny sensation of moving freely in the water, as if walking on flat ground. After the two of them continued diving for a while, their sight was suddenly drawn to a magnificent palace ahead.
"This is it!" Alleria exclaimed, unable to conceal her excitement. This palace was their former capital—Iselin! Memories of their glorious past flooded back, filling Alleria with emotion.
Aurelia's pretty face was filled with excitement and thrill, her eyes sparkling with surprise. She had clearly not expected things to go so smoothly. She stretched out her delicate body and sprinted downwards like a flash of lightning.
Su Yan's heart tightened upon seeing this, and he hurried after her. He knew Aurelia was impulsive, and he was afraid she might cause unnecessary trouble by acting rashly.
In the blink of an eye, Alleria arrived at the palace gate. However, the scene before her stunned her. A swarm of swarming beasts gathered at the palace gate. Each one bared its fangs and claws, brandishing its enormous claws. The claws opened and closed with a terrifying "clicking" sound. These beasts stared at Alleria and Su Yan with ferocious eyes, as if ready to pounce at any moment.
Su Yan lowered his head slightly to glance at the group of monsters, his brow furrowing. This place didn't look like an elf dwelling at all; it looked more like a demon's lair. What had happened? Where had those elves gone? Had something truly happened?
Aurelia's eyes also revealed a hint of confusion. Normally, elves should be lurking here, but now there wasn't even a shadow of them. This was truly bizarre! Could there be some hidden secret? Or perhaps, had the elves been controlled by some powerful force? Countless questions flooded Alleria's mind, leaving her feeling uneasy.
Su Yan stood quietly to one side, his gaze fixed on the massive crabs and even larger lobsters not far ahead. His expression grew grave, and he wondered: Could these creatures really be, as he suspected, monsters carefully nurtured by the elves? At this thought, an invisible pressure welled up within him. After all, they hadn't even entered the interior of this mysterious palace, yet even from its perimeter, they could already sense such a strong, menacing aura.
At this moment, Aurora, who had been on high alert, suddenly changed her expression. She turned her head sharply in a certain direction and cried out in alarm, "Oh no! We've been discovered!" Su Yan followed her gaze and saw a dense swarm of crabs rapidly approaching them. Each of these crabs bared their teeth and claws, waving their terrifyingly large claws as they pounced on them with overwhelming force.
