Chapter 297 Traces of the Ancient Gods!

Su Yan keenly noticed a strange blood flowing through Azshara's body, clearly mixed with other mysterious and powerful energies. After careful observation and speculation, he concluded that this abnormality was most likely caused by the power of the Old Gods.

At this moment, Azshara suddenly opened her mouth and said, "Leave this place immediately. If you leave now, I will pretend that nothing has happened." After hearing this, Su Yan narrowed his eyes slightly and stared at Azshara not far ahead, thinking to himself. From the current situation, although she seemed to still retain some rationality, the power of the Old Gods within her body still stubbornly existed, and the two forces were in a constant state of tension.

Therefore, to completely resolve this crisis, they must find a way to eliminate the Old God hiding in the shadows. However, the troublesome problem is that they have no idea where this Old God is hiding. As everyone was lost in thought, Alleria resolutely walked towards Azshara and shouted: "My Queen! Please allow me to take you home!"

Azshara looked over. Seeing Alleria approaching, her tense expression instantly twisted into a look of pain. She screamed at the top of her lungs, "Don't come any closer! Stop!" However, Alleria didn't stop at her warning. Instead, she quickened her pace and continued to approach.

Suddenly, a terrifyingly powerful force erupted from her body without warning, like a volcano about to erupt. Then, surging waves of power rapidly approached from all directions like a tide, transforming into streams of energy as flexible and sharp as whips of water, sweeping towards Alleria with a whistling sound.

At this critical moment, Su Yan appeared in front of Alleria with lightning speed. He reached out without hesitation, grabbed Alleria's arm, and pulled her behind him, using his body to block the overwhelming water whip.

Aurelia's expression changed slightly, a wave of emotion and surprise welling up in her heart. When she looked up, she saw Su Yan had already raised the Ten Directions Sword high in his hand. The blade shone with dazzling light, like a blazing sun blooming in the sky. With a flick of his arm, the Ten Directions Sword transformed into a bolt of lightning, accurately striking the approaching water whips. With a crisp crack, the water whips shattered, disintegrating into countless water droplets that splashed everywhere.

"Don't come any closer!" Su Yan shouted in terror, his voice piercing the heavens, filled with endless anxiety and deep concern. He stared intently at the figure not far ahead, his eyes wide open. Veins bulged on his forehead, and his hands unconsciously clenched into fists.

"This Azshara possesses an unusual power! It's likely not controlled by her!" Su Yan shouted, waving his arms frantically, signaling Alleria to stop. His heartbeat was rapidly accelerating, and his breathing was becoming unusually rapid.

Hearing Su Yan's cry, Aurelia stopped dead in her tracks. She slowly turned around and stared at the panic-stricken Su Yan. A hint of doubt flashed across her beautiful, deep eyes, but it was quickly replaced by trust in Su Yan.

Alleria nodded slightly, indicating that she understood Su Yan's meaning. However, despite this, her eyes still did not move away from Azshara, as if she wanted to see through her appearance and explore the unknown mysterious power hidden within her body.

"I believe there must be some mysterious entity secretly controlling Azshara's actions. And this mastermind hidden in the darkness is most likely the legendary Old God." Su Yan frowned, looking forward with a deep gaze. "So our most important task right now is to find the Old God hiding in the shadows and manipulating everything. If we can defeat and destroy it, perhaps your queen can break free from this strange control and regain her former sanity and grace."

After listening to Su Yan's analysis, Alleria's expression grew solemn. She knew the weight of this matter was immense; if Azshara couldn't be rescued quickly, the consequences would be disastrous. So, she took a deep breath and replied firmly, "Alright! I'll go look for clues right now and bring that damned Old God down!" With that, Alleria turned and prepared to leave.

However, at this moment, Azshara launched another fierce attack. She waved her hands, muttering something, and a stronger current of water gathered, forming a massive ball of water that hurled itself directly at Alleria. Fortunately, Su Yan reacted quickly. He dodged and stepped in front of Alleria again, brandishing the Ten Directions Sword to meet the rapidly approaching ball of water.

Su Yan raised the corner of his mouth slightly, a faint smile appearing on his face. His deep and sharp eyes looked straight at Aurelia in front of him, as if he wanted to see through her. He slowly said, "Haha, let me meet you today!"

At this moment, Azshara suddenly roared, "Don't underestimate me!" As she roared, a terrifyingly powerful energy began to gather in her hands. In the blink of an eye, a huge energy ball took shape, emitting a dazzling light.
