Chapter 299 Goblin God

"Haha, you say I deserve to die? I think you are the one who should go to hell!" Su Yan responded without showing any weakness. He didn't care about Ozumat's anger at all.

Before he finished speaking, Ozumat suddenly roared softly. As his roar rang out, a stream of inky black arrows shot out from his body. These arrows shot out like lightning, their speed so incredible that they pierced through the void in the blink of an eye, leaving behind a sharp, piercing sound.

Black light and shadows flooded the sky like a terrifying rainstorm, crashing down on Su Yan's position with a crackling sound. However, at this critical moment, Su Yan's body suddenly shone with a dazzling golden light. This light was like an indestructible shield, tightly enveloping him. The black arrows collided with the golden light and were deflected, unable to harm Su Yan at all.

There was a constant sound of "crackling, crackling" as the incredibly sharp arrows snapped in mid-air like fragile branches. These broken arrows didn't fall straight down as usual, but instead, as they fell, they suddenly released a stream of inky black projectiles. In an instant, countless black projectiles rained down on Su Yan, completely engulfing him.

Immediately afterwards, a deafening boom echoed. The terrifying explosion, like thunder, resounded through the heavens. Blazing flames shot up into the sky, like a ferocious beast with its bloody maw agape, completely engulfing the surrounding area in a sea of fire.

Seeing this, Ozumat couldn't help but reveal a ferocious smile on his face. He said viciously, "Haha, you dare to be so arrogant in front of me? This is your fate!" However, just when he thought he had won, a familiar voice suddenly rang in his ears: "Haha, who gave you such confidence?"

Ozumat's eyes widened in shock, staring in disbelief at the unharmed Su Yan before him. He had never imagined that, amidst such a violent explosion, Su Yan would not only remain unscathed, but even move at such a high speed. Before Ozumat could react, Su Yan flashed and approached him like a ghost.

Ozumat was horrified and felt an unprecedented crisis. He hurriedly mobilized the strength in his body, and black light suddenly gushed out of his body, turning into various strange weapons, trying to block Su Yan's attack and take the opportunity to escape quickly.

Without hesitation, Su Yan unleashed his full strength, swiftly pursuing the enemy like an arrow from a bow. However, as he sped, waves of incredibly powerful energy suddenly surged over him, like raging waves. These waves contained immense power, causing Su Yan to involuntarily slow down, ultimately forcing him to stop.

He frowned, his gaze fixed on the distance, and soon noticed the unusual fluctuations in the water. With years of combat experience and keen intuition, Su Yan determined that this was most likely a powerful mental attack unleashed by Ozumat.

Despite his fear, Su Yan didn't retreat. Instead, he gritted his teeth, endured the discomfort, and maneuvered through the air at top speed. But who would have thought that, accidentally, he would stumble into a thick black fog. Within this fog, the mental damage seemed to intensify, as if countless poisonous insects were gnawing at his soul.

"Hahaha!" At this moment, Ozumat's creepy laugh came from all directions. "So you are so afraid of this level of mental attack! If so, then today you will definitely die!"

Su Yan ignored Ozumat's provocation and taunts. He kept his lips tightly shut, concentrating on dealing with the dilemma before him. At this moment, Baalzebul, who had been lurking deep in his mind, slowly opened his eyes.

"Master! It seems you are in big trouble!" Baalzebub's voice sounded in Su Yan's consciousness.

Su Yan nodded slightly in agreement, and said hurriedly, "That's right, I'm suffering from an extremely fierce mental attack! Help me think of a way to eliminate it!"

Upon hearing this, Baalzebul stood up without a word. Lightning flashed around her, emanating an immense pressure. Under the awe of the Thunder God's might, the raging mental attack instantly melted away like ice meeting fire.

With the mental attack successfully neutralized, Su Yan finally returned to normal. He took a deep breath, adjusted his breathing, raised his head again, and looked towards Ozumat with a sharp gaze.

Ozumat stared wide-eyed at what was happening before him, his heart filled with shock and disbelief. He couldn't believe what he was seeing, and he was completely dumbfounded. He even began to doubt his own long-held beliefs and abilities.

He racked his brains, but he couldn't figure out when the other party had appeared so silently. Why had his so proud, invincible mental attacks suddenly become ineffective? What kind of mysterious and powerful force could so easily dispel his attacks? Could this really be just an ordinary goblin? The thought flashed through Ozumat's mind, but he quickly rejected it. Because such strength could never belong to an ordinary goblin.

However, despite all the questions and doubts in Ozumat's heart, there was a dead silence around him, and no one could give him an answer. Just then, Su Yan's familiar figure slowly appeared before Ozumat again. He looked calm and composed, his lips curled up slightly, and with a hint of sarcasm, he whispered, "How are you? Do you have any other powerful moves? Why not show them off?"
