Hahahaha! A chilling laugh echoed throughout the space. Vezax's hideous, twisted face appeared in the smoke, staring intently at Su Yan. "Haha, you? You're still dreaming of surviving such a fierce and fierce attack from me! Especially at this close range, you're really dreaming!" As he finished speaking, the surrounding smoke grew thicker, as if swallowing everything in it.
The force of the earth-shattering explosion just now caused time and space in this area to seem to be on the verge of collapse and shatter. Meanwhile, Vezax's face was filled with an expression of unparalleled smugness. His bloody mouth kept opening and closing, continuously emitting harsh mocking noises at Su Yan.
However, just when he thought victory was assured, a figure suddenly appeared before him like a ghost. Su Yan reappeared without warning, leaving Vezax no chance to react. With the icy Ten Directions Sword, tightly grasped in his hand, he thrust it straight into Vezax's chest with lightning speed.
Instantly, Vezax's smug expression froze, replaced by an indescribable, strange expression. His face suddenly darkened, his eyes filled with confusion and disbelief as he gazed at Su Yan, wondering: How could this guy reappear unscathed? Why had my all-out attack had no effect on him?
Unfortunately, Vezax didn't have time to ponder these questions. As the Ten-Direction Sword pierced his chest, an immensely powerful force rapidly spread, destroying the life force within him. In the end, Vezax could only slowly close his eyes, filled with resentment and regret, and departed this world forever.
Su Yan took a deep breath and stepped firmly back onto solid ground. He stared intently at Alleria and Azshara, his gaze sharp as a torch, thinking to himself: This place is not suitable for long, we must evacuate as soon as possible.
A mysterious and eerie atmosphere permeated the area, leaving people feeling inexplicably oppressive. Although sunlight shone brightly on the earth, its faint light seemed unable to dispel the lurking shadows. Su Yan frowned slightly and said in a deep voice, "I think we need to hurry and leave. This place is too strange, and unknown dangers are hidden everywhere. Moreover, the remnants of the power of the Ancient Gods still linger here. If we are not careful, we may fall into an irretrievable situation."
Azshara nodded gently in agreement. "Yes, my Lord," she said softly, "you are absolutely right! There are indeed many puzzling things here. Even in broad daylight, dangers abound."
"That's right. Even during the day, this place is still full of dangerous traps and unpredictable changes." Aurelia agreed, a solemn look appearing on her beautiful face.
Su Yan thought for a moment and made a prompt decision: "Let's not delay any further and return to the land to find out what's going on." Alleria had no objection to this. After all, Azshara had returned safely now, and she had long been disillusioned with this land, not to mention that it had become a desolate ruin.
So, the group hurried to the nearby land. However, shortly after stepping onto land, Su Yan's keen intuition made him sense something was amiss. Countless dark shadows surged in from all directions, rapidly approaching like a tide, leaving no chance for anyone to escape.
"What on earth are these things? There are so many of them, so densely packed, it's simply creepy!" Aurelia's face showed shock, and she couldn't help but turn her head and look around in surprise.
Azshara stared intently ahead, a gloom gradually covering her beautiful face, her expression growing more solemn. Her rosy lips parted as she spoke slowly, "This... actually belongs to the Zerg! These Zerg, created by the Old Gods, possess immense combat power. Individually, their capabilities may seem rather weak, but once they unite in a swarm, their unleashed power is truly terrifying."
Hearing these words, Alleria, standing beside her, instantly grasped what Azshara was trying to say. Her heart sank, and the image of Su Yan involuntarily surfaced in her mind. If this were true, wouldn't Su Yan be in danger again? The thought of this filled Alleria with anxiety, and she wished she could rush to Su Yan's side and lend him a hand.
Meanwhile, Su Yan stood firmly in his place. He stared fearlessly at the oncoming Zerg horde, his hand tightly gripping the mighty Ten Directions Sword. With a single swing of his arm, the Ten Directions Sword slashed forward with a fierce momentum. In an instant, a terrifying sword energy roared out, charging at the enemy like a giant dragon, fangs bared and claws bared.
This sword energy was incredibly powerful, tearing the air apart wherever it passed, emitting a sharp, piercing cry. Immediately afterwards, waves of equally terrifying sword energy continuously gushed out from the Ten Directions Sword, interweaving and colliding in the air. The tremendous energy rolled out in all directions like a raging wave.
Faced with Su Yan's ferocious attack, the first wave of Zerg had no time to react and were easily crushed by the overwhelming sword energy. Some were directly slain by the sword energy, their limbs scattering everywhere, while others were toppled to the ground by the immense force of the sword energy, leaving them in a state of disarray. And just like that, Su Yan, relying on his exceptional swordsmanship and fearless courage, easily neutralized the Zerg's initial attack.
