The Mantid were originally a sub-species of the Aqir Zerg. In the past, when they engaged in fierce battles with the Trolls, fortune seemed to favor them, preventing them from becoming the Trolls' primary targets. However, fate is full of uncertainties. The Mantid never anticipated the advent of a more powerful and irresistible force—the Titans—which pushed them into a desperate situation and ultimately led to their annihilation.
Once upon a time, the Mantid lived peacefully in the mysterious realm known as the Dread Wastes. But as time passed and fate took hold, they gradually strayed from their righteous ways, choosing to follow the evil Old Gods and launch a ferocious attack on all creation. Sadly, the Mantid's ambitions were not fulfilled, and they suffered a heavy blow in their confrontation with the Pandaren, plunging the entire race into a difficult and arduous situation.
Today, the Mantid finally have a glimmer of hope, a chance to rise again. Knowing this opportunity is hard-won, they will unwaveringly devote themselves to this life-or-death struggle. For the Mantid know full well that if they fail again, nothing but annihilation awaits them—as the last remaining lineage of Mantid, they will be utterly lost in history, never to rise again.
Faced with this dire situation, Grand Queen Shek'zara stepped forward, shouldering the heavy responsibility of leading the entire Mantid race on the road to revival. This resolute and courageous leader is determined to rally her people and lead them back to their former glory, so that the name of the Mantid can once again resound throughout the world!
At this moment, Queen Shakzara encountered Su Yan, who turned out to be the legendary Goblin God! You know, for creatures like goblins, becoming gods is incredibly rare! Because on their long road to growth, goblins constantly face brutal slaughter from all sides.
Nearly every race considered goblins to be annihilated, placing them on their kill lists. Yet, Su Yan managed to survive in such a harsh environment, never giving up. It was precisely with this unwavering perseverance and determination that he finally reached the pinnacle of his life, a moment that marked the beginning of his glorious journey.
Grand Empress Shakzara suddenly burst into a loud chant, her passionate voice like a raging wave, surging in all directions. Su Yan, who had been about to attack the Grand Empress, was surprised to find his body as if restrained by a mysterious force, unable to unleash any skills. He watched helplessly as the enormous, ferocious-looking mantis demon advanced towards him at lightning speed.
Su Yan clutched the gleaming Ten Directions Sword in both hands. His eyes were fierce, and he exuded a powerful aura. Just as the ferocious, savage mantis demon approached rapidly, Su Yan swung his sword fiercely, muttering something. Instantly, the sky was covered with dark clouds, and thunder and lightning flashed.
Thick bolts of lightning snaked down like silver snakes, carrying devastating force as they barreled down towards the rapidly approaching mantis demon below. However, the mantis demon was clearly no pushover. It reacted quickly, spreading its sharp wings behind it. A dark green light enveloped its body, forming a massive and solid barrier.
When the thunder slammed fiercely into the barrier, a resounding, earth-shattering roar erupted. Sparks flew, lightning crisscrossed, and the entire space seemed to tremble. Although the barrier successfully blocked most of the thunder's force, the terrifying energy contained in it was too astonishing. Even after being weakened, the remaining power still possessed terrifying destructive power.
The mantid demons, unable to dodge, saw their hard shells shatter like fragile porcelain the moment they were exposed to the residual force. Blood splattered everywhere, limbs flew everywhere, and the scene was extremely bloody and tragic.
Grand Empress Shek'zara's dignified, stoic face twisted with fury. She watched helplessly as her beloved Mantid troops were easily annihilated like ants before the enemy. Her rage instantly reached a fever pitch. She tilted her head slightly and let out a deep, commanding dragon roar that seemed to pierce the battlefield, sending shivers down her spine.
Following the dragon's roar, Shek'zara began to chant softly. Her hands danced, she muttered a few words, and a mysterious and powerful force emanated from her. Soon, there was a rustling sound, and a vast number of Zara'thik Swarm Guardians emerged from the ground in all directions like a tide. These guards were massive, covered in hard shells, and wielded incredibly sharp sickles that flashed with a cold light.
As soon as they appeared, they quickly rushed towards Su Yan, their speed as fast as lightning. During the charge, the guards frantically waved their sickles, the blades spinning rapidly in the air, bringing with them gusts of sharp wind, forming a series of death whirlwinds that swept straight towards Su Yan.
At the same time, many surrounding insect swarm guards opened their mouths and unleashed a series of terrifying attacks. Some of these attacks whizzed past like sharp arrows, while others burned like fireballs, pouring down on Su Yan and his companions like a dense rainstorm.
Azshara stood in the distance, quietly observing everything unfolding before her. Her beautiful face was expressionless, but her deep eyes revealed a subtle solemnity. After a moment, she slowly spoke, "This must be her final struggle."
