Chapter 311 Cooperation

Hearing what Albedo said, a sneer appeared on Su Yan's face, and he snorted coldly: "Hmph, I think you will be the one who regrets it in the end!" At this time, Albedo smiled again, and her body was shaking with laughter. She said in a delicate voice: "Haha, I really hope to regret it once! It's a pity that I'm afraid some cowards don't have the courage to let me get my wish!" After that, her provocative gaze fell directly on Su Yan, as if waiting for his next reaction.

Su Yan snorted coldly, like a thunderclap in the air. His feet moved with great speed, striding towards Albedo. Each step carried an unparalleled momentum, as heavy and unshakable as a mountain.

Shalltear, standing nearby, witnessed this scene and her expression changed drastically. She had initially thought Su Yan was just bluffing, never expecting him to actually strike. For a moment, Shalltear internally groaned inwardly.

Looking at Albedo again, she initially wore a smug smile, seemingly full of confidence. However, as she saw Su Yan approaching, her smile gradually froze, replaced by a look of barely concealed panic.

As Su Yan drew closer to Albedo, her panic grew more pronounced. Her body began to tremble uncontrollably, and deep fear shone in her eyes. Finally, she could no longer bear the pressure and gave in completely.

"Horrible... so terrifying!" Albedo muttered to herself, her voice filled with fear and awe. "Is this the true strength of the goblins? I really underestimated them before!" Albedo was completely overwhelmed by the immense strength and majesty displayed by Su Yan.

At that moment, Albedo suddenly raised her head, as if making a firm decision. Her gaze towards Su Yan was no longer filled with fear, but rather with anticipation and longing. She took a deep breath, then spoke in a tone almost flattering, "Dear Goblin-sama, please accept me! From now on, I am willing to be your most loyal servant, serving you wholeheartedly!" Albedo's face lit up with excitement. She knew that from this moment on, she would completely shed the title that had always been so humiliating to her and embrace a brand new life.

"Next, can you take me to see the Bone King?" Su Yan stared intently at the graceful and beautiful woman in front of him - Albedo, and asked in a firm tone with a hint of urgency.

After hearing this, Albedo's beautiful face quickly showed a look of respect. She nodded without hesitation and responded softly, "Sir, please follow me here!" As soon as the voice fell, Albedo took light steps, turned gracefully and walked forward.

Seeing this, Su Yan hurried to catch up with Albedo. Soon, they arrived at a magnificent hall. Albedo extended her delicate hand and gently pushed open the heavy door. As the door slowly swung open, a solemn atmosphere filled the air.

After entering the hall, Su Yan's gaze was instantly drawn to the throne perched high in the center. The Bone King sat atop the massive and magnificent throne, his deep, abyssal eyes gazing down with interest. Upon catching sight of Su Yan, the Bone King's lips curled up slightly, revealing a half-smile. He said slowly, "You're finally here!"

Judging from Bone King's tone and expression, he seemed to have known about Su Yan's arrival for a long time, and did not show any surprise or unexpectedness.

Su Yan slowly raised his head, and a chilling figure came into view. It was a skeletal magic caster, his entire body a pale white, as if eroded by countless years. Within his hollow, deep eye sockets, two blazing crimson flames burned, as captivating as the fires of hell.

This skeletal magic caster clad in an incredibly resplendent black cloak, its vast sleeves fluttering in the wind like bat wings fluttering in the night sky. His immense size gave him an overwhelming sense of oppression. He clutched a massive staff, inlaid with dazzling gems, gleaming with a mysterious and alluring light. Even more striking was the assortment of prop-like rings adorning his bony fingers. These rings emanated strange magical fluctuations, seemingly imbued with boundless power.

A closer look reveals that the skeleton is completely devoid of any skin, muscles, blood vessels, nerves, or internal organs, consisting solely of bare bones. Yet, this seemingly fragile skeleton exudes a supreme aura that inspires awe.

When Su Yan tried to touch the skeleton, he felt its sense of touch was significantly duller than when it was human. It felt as if there were a thin layer of gauze between them, preventing them from truly perceiving external stimuli. In stark contrast, his vision, hearing, and other senses had become incredibly sharp. Even the slightest movement could be easily detected by the skeleton.

Although this body, composed solely of bones, appeared to be extremely fragile, every time Su Yan touched the bones, he was surprised to find that they were as hard as steel and indestructible. This contradiction made the skeleton magic caster even more mysterious and elusive.
