Chapter 317 Death of Vishnu

"What's going on?" The Indians stood below, their faces filled with disbelief and deep confusion, their mouths agape, their eyes wide, as if they had just witnessed the end of the world. Just now, their companions had suddenly died without any warning. This sudden change caught everyone off guard and left them in a state of panic.

What on earth had happened? Everyone looked at each other, their hearts filled with fear and confusion. At that moment, a sudden burst of light shone from the sky, and a gigantic figure slowly emerged—it was none other than Vishnu, the main god in Indian mythology!

Vishnu stood majestically in the sky, shouting, "Brave people!" His voice, like a bell, resounded through the heavens and earth, deafening everyone. "The evil goblins have invaded our sacred realm!" Upon hearing this news, the people on earth were in an uproar, their fear evident in words.

Vishnu continued, "Now, I need the strength of every one of you! Please fight alongside me to eliminate these hateful invaders!" As soon as he finished speaking, the people below knelt on the ground without hesitation, and shouted devoutly and excitedly, "Lord Vishnu! As long as it is your request, no matter what it is, we will do our best to satisfy you!"

"That's right! We're willing to sacrifice everything for you!" someone shouted at the top of their lungs, their face filled with determination. Someone even shouted, "I'll go back and bring my wife and daughter with me, so we can contribute to the defense of the divine realm!" For a moment, the crowd was excited and the atmosphere was extremely heated.

However, at this moment, a cold snort suddenly rang out. Everyone looked in the direction of the sound and saw Su Yan, arms folded, a look of disdain on his face, standing not far away on the other side. He looked at the people kneeling in worship with disdain and sneered, "What a bunch of stubborn fools! You've been fooled by a few sweet words."

Vishnu turned his head to look at Su Yan, with the corners of his mouth slightly raised, revealing a smug smile: "Haha, ignorant boy, do you know that I now have the powerful power of faith blessing me? With such divine power, you will never be able to kill me!" After speaking, a dazzling golden light emanated from his body, like a bright sun, making people dare not look directly at it.

Su Yan narrowed his eyes slightly, his sharp gaze shooting towards Vishnu like lightning. Sure enough, around Vishnu, an extremely powerful light shield suddenly emerged, like an indestructible shield, tightly protecting him.

"You damned goblins! You disgusting and filthy creatures! How dare you come and offend our great Lord Vishnu!" An angry roar came from the crowd.

"That's right, these despicable guys deserve to die!" someone else echoed.

"It is said that creatures like this don't deserve to exist in this world!" Curses echoed through the sky.

However, facing the enraged Indians, Su Yan simply glanced down coldly, expressionless. His lips curled slightly, a mocking smile forming: "Haha, the goblins are certainly guilty of a thousand deaths, but what qualifications do you, a bunch of losers who are not even as good as goblins, have to shout here?"

Before he finished speaking, Su Yan casually swung his arm, and in an instant, a dazzling sword light shot out like a rainbow piercing the sun. This sword light was so fast, like lightning across the night sky, leaving no time for people to react.

The Indians below, lashing out with rage and insults, suddenly felt a flash of cold light before their eyes, followed by a sharp pain. Their bodies were instantly severed by the sharp sword light, blood splattering everywhere, a horrific sight. In the blink of an eye, the once bustling scene fell silent. No one was left alive; everyone was dead.

Vishnu was completely stunned at this moment. He stared at everything that happened in front of him with his eyes wide open, his face filled with disbelief. He could never have imagined that Su Yan would act so decisively and ruthlessly, killing all of his followers in one fell swoop!

In that instant, the dazzling protective light that had enveloped Vishnu's entire body suddenly dissipated without warning. Not only that, but even the people who had always worshipped him as a god disappeared without a trace, as if they had evaporated into thin air.

At this moment, how could Vishnu still be considered a protector? He had become a completely lonely man, his former glory and majesty gone. Su Yan watched all this with a cold eye, his eyes filled with contempt and disdain, thinking to himself, "This guy is such a joke now!"

When Vishnu realized that the protective light that had saved his life had suddenly disappeared, his face turned pale as paper, and his body trembled uncontrollably. Fear surged into his heart like a tide, and he no longer cared about anything else. He turned around and ran. However, no matter how hard he ran, he could not escape Su Yan's grasp.

Su Yan's lips curled up slightly, a cruel smile forming. He gripped the mighty Ten-Direction Sword tightly in his hand and mercilessly slashed at Vishnu. At the same time, he shouted, "This time, I'll see where you can run!"

Seeing no hope of escape, Vishnu desperately cried out, "Brahma, save me!" Unfortunately, his cry for help barely escaped his lips before it was completely drowned out by the piercing sword light. In an instant, light shone in all directions, and sword energy crisscrossed. Vishnu didn't even have time to utter a final scream before he was completely annihilated in the dazzling sword light, completely dead, leaving not even a trace of his body.
