"Hehehe...die!" Oceanus once again gritted his teeth, each word carrying a piercing chill. His eyes narrowed tightly, flashing with cruelty and ruthlessness, like two razor-sharp blades, piercing straight into the flooded land.
Deep in Oceanus's heart, Su Yan had already become a lifeless, cold corpse, with no chance of survival. Furthermore, he began to imagine Su Yan struggling desperately in the water, suffocating from the inability to breathe, and finally, the horrific sight of his face twisted and distorted as his life ended.
"Hmph, you actually dare to go against the gods? You are simply overestimating yourself! Anyone who dares to challenge the authority of the gods will surely end up in a miserable state!" Oceanus crossed his arms and muttered to himself coldly, his words revealing an arrogant and condescending attitude.
However, events often unfold unexpectedly. Just as Oceanus was completely absorbed in the bloody scenes he had imagined, a dark figure, like a ghost, suddenly appeared before him without warning. He took a closer look and was horrified to discover that the person standing before him was none other than Su Yan, who, according to common sense, should have long since perished in the water!
"This... How is this possible?!" Oceanus' eyes widened, his face filled with disbelief and astonishment, as if he had witnessed the most incredible thing in the world. At this moment, Su Yan stood there, his figure straight as a pine tree, steady and composed, without a trace of distress. Even more striking was the fact that his right hand tightly grasped a precious sword, gleaming with an icy light—the Ten Directions Sword. The sword had a slender blade, its hilt inlaid with gemstones, and it shone dazzlingly in the sunlight.
At this moment, Su Yan's face was filled with a brilliant smile, like the warm and pleasant sunshine in spring, which made people feel warm in their hearts. However, this smile was particularly glaring in Oceanus' eyes, and he couldn't help but feel a surge of anger from the bottom of his heart.
Su Yan slowly said, "Haha, thank you so much! Thanks to your 'help' just now, I was able to successfully unlock a new skill!" His voice was crisp and pleasant, like a yellow oriole singing in a valley, and it contained an excitement that was hard to conceal, as if he had obtained some rare treasure.
Hearing this, Oceanus felt as if struck by thunder. His eyes widened instantly, nearly popping out of their sockets. His already wide face was now distorted by extreme shock and disbelief, as if he had witnessed the most incredible thing in the world.
He couldn't fathom how Su Yan, who should have been doomed to die in his meticulously planned siege, could actually stand before him unharmed, even radiating a powerful aura, as if blessed by some mysterious power. This was beyond his comprehension, and for a moment, he couldn't quite accept it.
Recalling how, in order to put Su Yan to death, he had spared no expense, dispatching a full 30 million naval forces to pursue and intercept him. Those were his most elite, battle-hardened warriors! However, reality dealt him a crushing blow—all his efforts had been wasted. Not only had the 30 million naval forces failed to complete their mission, but they had also been completely annihilated, leaving them without even the slightest chance of resistance. It was a complete and utter defeat!
At that moment, Su Yan on the other side burst into wild laughter. "Hahahaha... Oceanus, today is your end! This skill I just learned will become a deadly killing move that will send you to the west!" Su Yan's laughter resounded through the sky, deafening. His eyes, like burning flames, were fixed on the enemy before him, filled with coldness and determination.
Su Yan tightly grasped the divine weapon known as the Ten Directions Sword. A chilling cold light shone from the blade, dazzling like a meteor streaking across the night sky. As he slowly and forcefully raised his arm, a terrifying, overwhelming force began to converge upon the sword. This force was so powerful that even the surrounding air seemed unable to withstand its pressure, crackling with noises.
In an instant, the once clear, sunny sky suddenly changed, as if an invisible giant hand had suddenly obscured the light, instantly turning dim and dark, as if night had fallen prematurely. Thick black fog emerged continuously from all directions, interweaving and surging like surging waves, spreading at an astonishing speed.
This black fog exuded a chilling aura of death, a fear and despair that penetrated deep into one's bones, seemingly piercing directly into one's soul. The air seemed to freeze, filled with oppression and a dead silence, making one feel as if they were in hell, with every breath carrying a strong stench of decay.
The entire world was completely transformed by this sudden change. Heaven and earth were turned upside down, and the sun and moon were dark. The once clearly visible mountains, rivers, flowers, and trees now vanished into darkness, leaving only chaos and vastness. The scene was truly horrifying, as if the end of the world had already arrived.
Standing amidst this horrific scene, Oceanus was already terrified. His face was pale, bloodless, and filled with unconcealed terror. His body trembled violently, his legs weak and he could barely stand. His lips trembled, unable to form a complete sentence. He could only repeat incoherently, "I was wrong! I really know I was wrong! Please forgive me..." However, Su Yan's heart was as hard as stone, and he remained completely unmoved by Ocean's pleading.
