"What the hell is going on?" Uriyah's brows furrowed tightly, forming two deep furrows, like two sharp swords across his forehead. His face, already brimming with masculinity, was now distorted by shock. His eyes widened to the size of bells, their eyeballs nearly popping out of their sockets. His expression was filled with disbelief, as if he had witnessed the most incredible sight in the world.
His gaze, sharp as lightning, shot straight down, as if trying to see through the layers of fog to grasp the truth. He muttered to himself, "No! This shouldn't be happening! Is my vision failing me? Or is there something wrong with my perception?" At that moment, a jaw-dropping scene unfolded before everyone—Uriah's broad, mountain-like back held a massive, towering mountain, steadily and motionlessly supported.
This mountain towered majestically, reaching into the clouds. Its height was almost incalculable, as if it were a passage connecting heaven and earth. Its immensity and heaviness evoked a sense of oppression, as if it bore the weight of the entire world. And though Uriyah stood tall and imposing, like a towering giant, possessing strength and physique beyond imagination, at this moment, even his usually resolute face could hardly conceal the solemnity that shone from his expression.
Uriah frowned, his nostrils flared slightly, and he murmured softly, "Why is there such a strong and pungent smell of blood down there?" His voice seemed to be swallowed by the heavy air around him, and it sounded particularly low.
An inexplicable fear surged through him like a tide, causing him to shudder involuntarily. The overwhelming sense of foreboding was like an invisible hand, tightly gripping his heartstrings and making it nearly impossible to breathe. This feeling was like the oppressive atmosphere before a storm, heavy and oppressive, almost suffocating.
"This smell... a little familiar," Uriah muttered to himself, his thoughts tangled like a tangled mess. He strained his brain, trying to dig out clues from the depths of his memory, but the harder he tried, the harder it became to piece together those fuzzy fragments.
"What's going on? This smell of blood... seems familiar! But I can't put my finger on it right away!" Uriah paced back and forth anxiously, rubbing his temples with his hands, hoping to stimulate his thinking and recall more memories of the smell.
At that moment, without warning, snowflakes began to fall from the sky. The pure white flakes, like ethereal fairies, fluttered down in a flurry. They danced gracefully in the air, weaving together to create a magnificent painting, draping this world, once filled with mystery and danger, with a veil of silver. However, Uriah had no time to appreciate this dreamlike beauty; his mind was completely absorbed by the nauseating smell of blood.
"Is it snowing?" Uriya looked up, his gaze fixed on the sky. He saw pure white, feather-like snowflakes drifting down from the boundless sky. These flakes danced gracefully in the air like fairies, blanketing the world in a beautiful, silvery sheen.
Looking at the dreamlike snowy scene before him, Uriah couldn't help but feel a hint of doubt. He frowned and muttered to himself, "Why is it snowing all of a sudden? And this snow seems a little unusual..." As he thought, he subconsciously stretched out a strong and powerful hand, wanting to catch the slowly falling snowflakes.
Finally, a crystal-clear snowflake drifted slowly toward his palm. As it was about to land in his palm, Uriyah fully anticipated the feeling of its cool, soft touch. However, the moment the snowflake touched his palm, something unexpected happened—the snowflake, which should have slowly melted in his warm palm, suddenly transformed into a drop of water at an extremely fast speed and slid down his rough skin.
But before Uriya could react, an even more shocking scene unfolded. The instant the glittering snowflakes lightly landed on his palm, an unimaginably powerful electric current suddenly shot through his body. It was like a thunderbolt from the heavens, striking him fiercely. With a resounding "crack," Uriya froze in place, as if frozen in place.
Uriya's eyes widened, threatening to pop out of their sockets. His once resolute face was now contorted with shock and fear, a look of disbelief filling his face. His mouth dropped open, and an involuntary, terrified cry escaped his throat. "No! This... this isn't just ordinary snow! This is clearly... the blood of a god!"
Before he finished speaking, the surroundings erupted in a deafening uproar. These people were no strangers; they were all his loyal subordinates, and the awe-inspiring and powerful divine guards who surrounded him!
Among the crowd, someone had a face full of fear, his body shaking uncontrollably, and he shouted in a crying voice: "What's going on!? This...how is this possible! Snow actually came to this floor? Could it be that a huge change that has turned the world upside down has happened?" The man's words were like a thunderclap, exploding in everyone's ears, making everyone's heart sink suddenly.
