Finally, under the horrifying, terrifying sword energy, like a violent storm, Uriyah, despite his best efforts, could barely hold out for even a second. Instantly, a piercing scream resounded through the heavens, deafening the ears. With that scream, his once tall and muscular frame was ruthlessly shattered into countless dust-like fragments by the unparalleled sword energy. Crimson blood splattered everywhere like a bursting dam, forming streaks of blood. The scene was so horrific it was almost unbearable to watch.
Those tiny pieces of flesh flew madly in the air, like a bloody and bizarre dance of death. Then they fell to the ground like raindrops, dyeing the surrounding ground a glaring scarlet, as if the earth had been torn open with a deep wound, and endless blood flowed out.
Until his last moments, Uriya couldn't believe what he was seeing. He could never have imagined that such a powerful being like him would die in such a tragic way, and at the hands of the lowly goblins he had always looked down upon! This was undoubtedly a great shame and irony for him.
However, at this moment, the previously calm sea surface not far away suddenly and without warning began to surge and churn violently. Huge waves rose and fell, crashing into each other and emitting earth-shaking roars, as if a mysterious and terrifying force was quietly rising from the deep sea.
Then, everyone was astonished to see, from the depths of the turbulent, foaming sea, a vague figure slowly emerging. As it edged closer to the surface, its outline grew clearer and clearer. Finally, when it completely broke through the water, everyone gasped—it was none other than the mighty and world-renowned Poseidon, the king of the sea!
Pontus was a towering figure, emanating an unparalleled aura of majesty. Clad in ornate armor woven from blue scales, clutching a trident gleaming with dazzling light, he stood atop the waves, like an unshakable statue of Poseidon. As ruler of this vast ocean, he commanded its immense power, able to raise raging waves or restore the sea to its former tranquility at will. He was undoubtedly the undisputed overlord of these seas, and none dared to challenge him!
It turned out that Pontus had been hiding deep in the dark, icy depths of the ocean, silently practicing arduous and arduous training. Just now, a sudden and earth-shattering noise came from outside, like a landslide, shaking the entire ocean.
This sudden noise instantly shattered Pontus's inner peace, and he couldn't help but feel an irrepressible curiosity. What kind of power could cause such a startling commotion? After a brief moment of contemplation, Pontus finally couldn't contain his intense curiosity and resolutely decided to leave his retreat to investigate.
However, no one could have imagined that when Pontus cautiously poked his head out of the water, he would be greeted by a horrific and bloody scene—Uriah had been brutally beheaded on the spot! The scarlet blood dyed a large area of the sea red, and the strong smell of blood filled his nostrils, making him nauseous.
Pontus was stunned at first, then a surge of uncontrollable rage surged from his heart. He stared at the murderer with eyes as big as bells, gritting his teeth and snarling, "Who is so audacious? How dare you act so brazenly on my territory? Do you really think I'm easy to bully?"
Pontos was furious at this point, his muscles tensed with rage, ready to explode at any moment. He roared, pointed at Su Yan, and shouted, "You ignorant goblin, you dare to act recklessly here and trample on my dignity? You're simply arrogant! I won't appease my hatred unless you pay a heavy price today!"
The corners of Su Yan's mouth curled up slightly, creating a subtle, yet extremely cold, arc filled with disdain. That smile seemed to have come from the ice of the Netherworld, sending shivers down one's spine.
Then, a low, cold laugh, like rolling thunder, slowly emanated from the depths of his throat. "Humph! Back then, even a formidable figure like him couldn't escape the fate of being ruthlessly cut down by my sharp sword. As for you... hehe, I never took a small fry like you seriously! Even if I could just get rid of a piece of trash like you today, it would be as easy as crushing an insignificant ant to me."
After hearing these words, Pontos, who was standing opposite Su Yan, narrowed his eyes, which were not big to begin with, into two slits. He stared at the guy in front of him who dared to speak so arrogantly like a poisonous snake.
A hint of an icy smile also appeared on his face, but it was filled with mockery and contempt. "Hahaha... you're such an arrogant brat, you know your place! How dare you spout such brazen words here? I wonder who gave you such immense courage and confidence? Well, since you're so arrogant and domineering, I'd be very interested to take a closer look at what you're capable of, to see if you're really as formidable as you boast!"
