Chapter 332 Death of the Mountain God

After saying these words, Pontos folded his hands casually in front of his chest, looking relaxed and nonchalant, as if he didn't take Su Yan's harsh words seriously at all.

In his condescending, disdainful gaze, Su Yan, standing quietly before him, seemed like an insignificant, tiny, and humble ant. To him, someone like Su Yan was simply too weak and lowly to be worth even the slightest bit of his attention or concern.

However, at this moment, Su Yan, who had remained silent until then, finally moved. He seemed tired of the pointless verbal battle, and simply uttered an icy snort. Then, he swung his arm with all his might, his movements so swift and forceful that they were almost impossible to discern. With this seemingly simple swing, the tightly grasped longsword in his hand suddenly erupted with an unparalleled force.

Instantly, a piercing sword energy shot forth from the blade. Like lightning piercing the dark night sky, it tore through the air at astonishing speed, carrying with it a deafening whistle as it hurtled straight towards Pontus. Its unstoppable momentum seemed determined to completely shatter any obstacles in its path.

As he watched the ferocious, terrifyingly powerful sword energy rapidly approach, Pontus's face betrayed no sign of panic. Instead, he appeared remarkably calm and composed, even nonchalant. With a nonchalant air, he slowly raised his right hand and gently waved it.

The moment he made this move, the previously calm, mirror-smooth surface of the sea suddenly shifted dramatically. Countless surging waves instantly began to churn and surge wildly, like an enraged beast struggling and roaring. In a mere blink of an eye, the churning waters quickly converged and merged, forming a massive wall of water, dozens of feet high and several feet thick, which stood firmly before Pontus.

"Haha! You're just a tattered sword, and you're still dreaming you can hurt me? You're just daydreaming!" Pontos's lips curled up slightly, revealing a sneer of disdain. At the same time, he sarcastically sneered, "Such presumptuous behavior is simply ridiculous and makes me laugh!"

However, it is regrettable that even though this wall formed by the surging sea water is as indestructible as a wall of iron and steel, once it comes into direct conflict with the sharp and powerful sword energy swung by Su Yan, its fragile nature is instantly revealed.

In an instant, there was an extremely crisp and deafening sound of a rupture that resounded through the sky, as if it was going to tear the heavens apart.

Immediately afterwards, everyone witnessed the sword energy coming in with overwhelming force, and it easily crushed the extremely thick water wall into pieces as if it were in an empty space. For a moment, water splashed everywhere, like silver beads falling on a jade plate. The scene was quite spectacular.

Pontos, who was the first to be hit, had no power to fight back at all. He was like a kite with a broken string, and was blown away by this terrifying force.

With a loud "splash", he fell into the water in a mess, splashing a large number of high waves.

When he finally surfaced again, his arrogant look had disappeared, replaced by a look of disbelief and horror.

It was obvious that at this moment, he was deeply shocked and terrified by the sheer force of Su Yan's stunning sword strike. Oh my god, it was just a sword energy! Yet, this seemingly ordinary sword energy was like an indestructible blade, easily tearing through the defensive barrier he had always believed to be impenetrable and unbreakable. Furthermore, this terrifying force was like a ferocious beast, mercilessly pouncing on him and inflicting severe trauma.

Su Yan's face was as gloomy as water. He looked at Pontos coldly. The corners of his mouth curled up slightly, revealing a disdainful smile. "Well? Are you convinced now? If you still refuse to admit defeat, then the lesson waiting for you will not be so easy. Next time, I will chop off your limbs! Let you taste the true feeling of living a life worse than death! Of course, if this still fails to make you surrender, don't blame me for being ruthless and sending you to the west!"

Pontos gritted his teeth, his body trembling with pain, yet he remained stubbornly upright. He endured the pain that surged through his body like a tide, his eyes burning with rage as he stared at Su Yan, as if wanting to devour him alive.

Through clenched teeth, he managed to squeeze out a sentence filled with anger and resentment: "Hmph, a mere insignificant goblin dares to act so arrogantly and recklessly in front of me! Do you really naively think you are invincible? Don't forget, this is my territory! Do you know what this land means? You dare to act recklessly here? You are undoubtedly seeking your own destruction!"

Hearing Pontus's outburst, Su Yan simply sneered, a smile that betrayed a hint of contempt and disdain. He slowly began, "Haha, yes, that's exactly why I'm here!" Then, raising his voice, he added firmly, "I've already slain all those so-called gods down there! Now, it's your turn, the high and mighty first-generation gods!"
