Chapter 334 God of Darkness?

At this moment, everyone's eyes were focused on Su Yan. The corners of his originally tense mouth began to slowly lift up, gradually forming a cold smile filled with strong sarcasm. That smile was like frost in the cold winter, chilling.

Su Yan then coldly gazed at Aether, standing before him, with a look of disdain, as if he were watching a ridiculous clown performance. Then, with a nonchalant, nonchalant tone, he responded, "Haha, how ridiculous! You're still dreaming of my forgiveness for your crimes? Stop dreaming like that! Haven't you figured it out yet? From the moment you dared to mercilessly attack me, you completely and completely sever all your escape routes!"

After hearing Su Yan's words, Aether's face instantly turned pale, as white as a sheet of paper. His lips trembled constantly, but even so, he clenched his teeth tightly, refusing to give in. Aether's eyes were wide and bloodshot, looking incredibly ferocious and terrifying. He roared at Su Yan angrily, "You...you are simply deliberately making things difficult for me! Treating me so heartlessly and without any sense of justice will not bring you even the slightest benefit!"

However, facing this situation, Su Yan simply grinned nonchalantly, letting out a loud and unbridled laugh. That laugh seemed to pierce the sky, containing endless disdain and lawless arrogance.

"Hahahahaha! This is truly ridiculous! It's just a matter of slaughtering a mere ant, as tiny as dust. Why do you need so many seemingly righteous but actually hypocritical excuses and reasons? Wiping you out of this world is a piece of cake for me, much easier than crushing a tiny insect. It doesn't even require excessive energy; a simple flick of my right thumb will accomplish my goal!" Su Yan said as he slowly extended his strong, powerful right thumb and gestured provocatively at Aether. At this moment, his once handsome face was distorted into an even more ferocious and terrifying look.

At the same moment, Aether suddenly felt as if his body were being held firmly by an invisible force, unable to move an inch; or perhaps it was as if a pair of unseen hands were gripping him tightly, preventing him from even attempting to break free. As time passed, the thick aura of death surged like a tidal wave, completely engulfing him. At that moment, fear took root deep within Aether, causing him to shiver uncontrollably.

Filled with despair and helplessness, Aether's once bright eyes became dim. His whole body was trembling. He raised his head with his last bit of strength and slowly cast his gaze towards Su Yan, who looked as terrifying as a demon.

In Aether's eyes, Su Yan was like a ruler from the depths of hell, emanating a chilling aura. And he, on the other hand, felt like an insignificant ant, completely under his control, a pitiful plaything at his mercy. The power of life and death rested solely on his whim.

At that moment, a flicker of determination flashed across Su Yan's icy eyes. It was clear he no longer intended to stall for time. With a gentle wave of his right hand, a piercing sword energy suddenly whistled out, hurtling towards Aether like lightning.

The terrifying sword energy moved with incredible speed, closing in on him in the blink of an eye, completely enveloping Aether. Feeling death approach, Aether was terrified and instinctively tried to dodge. However, he was horrified to discover that his body had been bound by an invisible force, unable to move at all.

At this moment, Aether stood there, his body trembling slightly, his gaze fixed on the whistling, deadly sword energy. The sword energy was like a ferocious beast, lunging at him with bared fangs and claws, carrying the momentum to destroy the world.

Aether took a deep breath, clenching his teeth. Veins bulged on his forehead, like earthworms wriggling beneath his skin. He clenched his fists, mustering all his strength to gather the energy within him, attempting to block the powerful attack. However, the sword energy was too terrifying. In a split second, it broke through his defenses and struck directly at his vital points.

Despite his utmost efforts, Aether fought to the bitter end. His strength was like a mantis trying to stop a chariot against the sword's energy. As the sword energy drew closer, the shadow of death gradually enveloped him, and his heart was filled with despair and resentment.

At that moment, a dark figure streaked towards them from afar like lightning. It was none other than Erebus, the Dark God! He had been patrolling in the distance when he suddenly sensed an unusually strong energy surge coming from this area and immediately rushed over.

When Erebus arrived, his expression changed slightly. The scene before him was in utter devastation, and Aether lay lifeless on the ground, with not even a trace of life in her body.

"What's going on? What happened to Aether? Why is she dead?" Erebus' eyes widened, his face filled with shock as he roared in anger. His voice boomed like thunder in the air. He simply couldn't believe his eyes. Aether, always so brave and invincible, now lay lifeless on the ground, a cold corpse.
