Freya turned to the bartender and asked for a glass of water. "Why aren't you talking?"
"I'm just being safe! I'm worried I won't be able to save you right away." Gray grinned and glanced at the bartender. "Give me a whiskey."
"Oh? Worried about me? I don't feel that way."
Freya glanced at Gray and took a sip of water.
"Claire, why are you alone here? Where are your companions?" Gray asked, looking around.
"Oh, we all went back naturally after the mission was completed!" Freya answered lightly.
"You're not going to stay for a few more days? You're going back now?" Gray was a little surprised.
"I haven't formed a team for a long time. This time I formed a team just to eliminate the goblins." Freya shrugged.
Gray grabbed the whiskey handed to him by the bartender with both hands and suddenly smiled. "Where's the Saint? Have you seen her?"
Freya's expression narrowed slightly.
She met Polly in the Longyan tribe, but was anxious to confirm Su Yan's identity, so she didn't talk to her much.
But she knew that Polly already belonged to Su Yan, and she definitely could not let her return to the temple.
"I see." Freya nodded. "It's just that the Saint doesn't believe me, so she stayed in the Goblin Tribe..."
"What? Why don't you bring her out? It would be easy to bring her out with your means." Gray stared at Freya and asked.
"The Saint threatened to commit suicide, so I didn't dare to force her." Freya shook her head. "She seems a little nervous right now. Maybe she's been stimulated."
Gray frowned, "Indeed! After being in the Goblin Tribe for so long, it's normal for his condition to be a little off."
"Let's hurry back and get the Saint out," Freya urged. "I'm worried she'll run into danger if she stays in the Valley Forest for too long."
"Wait a minute." Gray picked up the glass and took a sip.
"Waiting for what?" Freya asked with a frown.
"Wait until everyone is here! What if we encounter other dangers when we go in?" Gray shook his head.
"You go to the Valley Forest first. I have to go to the Water City to withdraw the bounty order from the Royal Capital!"
Freya slapped her forehead and felt a little headache.
Her plans were suddenly disrupted, making her a little hasty.
"Forget it, the bounty has been issued, and I guess all the big and small forces in Water City are coming here!"
Gray drank the wine in his glass in one gulp. "Even if you withdraw the bounty order from the capital now, it's too late."
"You are abusing the bounty order, which is a capital crime!" Freya's eyes were solemn.
She also realized it was too late.
There are already so many brave men appearing in Yuexi Town.
It is estimated that other forces have already set off.
"Don't be afraid! This is not my capital's bounty order." Gray grinned with a bit of pride.
Freya was prepared to die before she handed over the bounty order from the royal capital.
She didn't expect that the goblin she wanted to kill was Su Yan.
This made things a little out of control.
"No, I absolutely cannot cause trouble for Brother Su Yan." Freya thought to herself, gritting her teeth.
"You should have a good rest tonight. When more heroes arrive, we will go to the Valley Forest! Let the saint stay one more night." Gray grinned and raised his glass to Freya.
Freya didn't say much. She finished the water in the cup and walked upstairs.
Gray stared at Freya's back, his eyes immediately darkening.
"Full of loopholes! With your abilities, it would be easy to bring the Saint out! And you definitely wouldn't leave the Saint alone in the Valley Forest! This guy is either lying to me or he's a fake."
"The chances of him being a fake aren't high, but what's his purpose in deceiving me? Is it too embarrassing to fail the mission? Or do you want to use the Saint to threaten me and get more rewards?"
"Boss! Give me some beer!"
A voice came from the door.
Gray turned his head and saw a blond young man wearing silver soft armor, leading a group of swordsmen.
A wolf's head is carved on the swordsman's chest armor.
"The Walker family?"
Gray narrowed his eyes, raised his hand and snapped his fingers: "Bartender! Bring a bucket of beer, vodka and whiskey! I'll pay for this gentleman's consumption today!"
Northam glanced at Gray in confusion.
"Don't get me wrong! Nora and I have met once before! Seeing that you are from the Walker family, I wanted to treat you well."
Gray quickly explained.
"Oh! You are my sister's friend! Hello." Northen grinned and relaxed his guard.
"Are you Northon, the second son of the Walker family?" Gray asked after a moment's thought.
"Yeah." Northam nodded.
"I've heard of Young Master Northen of the Walker family for a long time. He is the best of the younger generation of the Walker family. Today I see that he is indeed the best." Gray flattered him directly.
"No, no!" Although Northen said this, his face was obviously a little flattered, and it seemed that he benefited a lot.
"Are you here to kill goblins too?" Gray asked tentatively.
"Yeah! I don't know which bastard issued a bounty order in the capital to kill goblins! Is this a joke? Killing these things is like playing. I even killed a few of them yesterday." Northen drank a glass of beer and started talking.
"Father thought there was no danger, so he sent me here to gain some experience and bring my sister home."
"Your sister hasn't gone back yet?" Gray was a little surprised.
This is different from what Claire said! It seems that he was lying.
"Yeah! I haven't met her along the way. I guess she hasn't left Yuexi Town yet." Noson nodded. "Do you know where my sister went?"
"Oh! Your sister went to kill goblins too! Her captain said she has already gone back." Gray replied with a shrug.
"Impossible! Where is my sister's captain? I want to know clearly!" Northen immediately stood up and asked.
Gray looked at the ceiling and pointed, "It should be room 203."
"Okay! Thank you!" Northam immediately walked upstairs angrily.
Gray grinned as he watched Northam leave.
He put the wine glass on the table and wiped his mouth: "Check out!"
"Master Grey, this is the key to your room. As you requested, you and Claire's room are both left unlocked," the bartender came over and spoke.
"No, just help me withdraw! I don't live here."
Gray finished his whiskey, turned around and left the pub.
"Don't live here?" The bartender was stunned, then took the key back.
Gray walked out of the tavern and felt a cool breeze blowing in his face, which made him feel much more sober.
He raised the corners of his mouth, revealing an unpredictable smile: "Want to trick me? Haha."
