Suddenly, it began to rain. Dense raindrops fell from the sky like a waterfall, at an astonishing speed. At first, the raindrops were clearly visible, but as time went on, they became larger and larger, until it was almost impossible to see the scene in front of you.
Di Ruo'an slowly walked to Su Yan's side and watched him silently. The battle had finally come to an end, but she didn't feel the slightest bit of joy. Instead, a heavy pressure enveloped her heart.
Su Yan took a deep breath and retracted his gaze from the distance. He knew that everything was over, and a new journey was about to begin. He turned his head and looked around. Although most of this deep valley forest had been reduced to ruins, at least everything had been preserved.
On the ground, the once lush vegetation was devoured by the raging flames, leaving only a scorched expanse of earth. The mountains in the distance also appeared particularly desolate under the baptism of war.
Seeing Su Yan's listless appearance, Freya couldn't help but feel a little worried. She knew he must not have slept well, so she asked softly, "Brother Su Yan, is your pillow uncomfortable?" Su Yan shook his head gently, forcing a smile and saying, "It's okay, don't worry. I think it might be because of too much pressure recently. It will be better soon." Freya looked at his tired expression and was filled with concern.
She understood that Su Yan had been working hard recently and was under tremendous pressure, but she didn't know how to help him relieve the burden. Without saying anything more, Freya silently brought a new pillow and gently placed it on the head of Su Yan's bed. Su Yan looked at her gratefully, then slowly lay down and closed his eyes. Freya sat quietly by the bed, watching Su Yan fall asleep.
She noticed that Su Yan's pillow looked very dirty, covered with dust and stains, and there seemed to be a musty smell inside. She realized that the pillow should not have been replaced for a long time, and perhaps this was one of the reasons why Su Yan had a bad sleep.
Freya decided to wait for Su Yan to wake up and remind him to change his pillow in time to ensure a good sleep quality. "Awooo!" Suddenly, a low roar came from the front. Su Yan raised his head and looked forward.
A gigantic creature appeared ahead, its form looming, making it difficult to discern its full form. Its massive stature gave off an oppressive vibe. However, due to the distance and dim light, Su Yan couldn't precisely identify the creature. He could only sense a mysterious and powerful aura, which made him wary.
Although the burly figure was somewhat intimidating, upon closer inspection, it possessed a unique beauty. This intensified Su Yan's curiosity about this unknown being. He tried to guess its intentions: friendly or hostile?
However, everything was still unknown. Meanwhile, others, drawn to the incoming noise, turned their gazes in that direction, trying to figure out what was happening. For a moment, the entire scene became tense and filled with anticipation.
Su Yan's eyes were filled with vigilance as he walked forward without hesitation. He knew in his heart that the mysterious aura he had just seen was no accident; something must have appeared here. But what was it? He couldn't put his finger on it. Perhaps it was some powerful creature, or perhaps some other unknown entity. But no matter what, he had to find out.
As he walked, he kept an eye on his surroundings. This deep valley forest was unusually quiet, with only the rustling of leaves and the occasional chirping of birds. This silence was unsettling, as if it held countless dangers.
Just then, Su Yan suddenly heard a faint sound of footsteps. He immediately stopped and listened. The sound was getting closer and closer, and it seemed that quite a few people were approaching. He frowned, wondering if these people had also come here to explore because they sensed something was wrong.
As the footsteps approached, Su Yan saw a group of figures appear in the distance.
They moved forward cautiously, weapons in hand, and were obviously wary of the forest.
Su Yan observed them silently, trying to learn more about the situation here from their actions.
The valley forest before him seemed different from the others, and the change in the surrounding environment made Su Yan feel a little surprised. He keenly noticed that the familiar place was now filled with an unfamiliar atmosphere.
The things that had just tried to touch him, as well as the changes in the forest at that moment, made Su Yan realize that something had changed. Especially the chirping of insects, which had once been a frequent sound in the valley forest, had long since vanished. Yet, now, they echoed in the air once again, as if they had never left.
To Su Yan, this phenomenon wasn't surprising. After all, the demons' existence was closely tied to the sounds they made. When the demons left, the insect sounds naturally vanished. Therefore, the reappearance of the insect sounds could only mean one thing: the demons had returned to this deep valley forest.
Although this discovery wasn't earth-shattering, it did cause Su Yan to doubt his own judgment. He began to reassess everything before him, wondering if there were other hidden dangers or changes waiting for him to discover.
Su Yan walked alone in the valley forest, his steps light but firm. The other goblins had already gone to clean up the mess left by the Burning Legion, but he was shouldering a more important task - to find out what changes might have occurred in this world.
Just as he was concentrating on searching for clues, a clear and mysterious voice suddenly reached his ears: "Are you looking for me?" Su Yan raised his head abruptly and cast his gaze towards the source of the voice. Not far ahead, he saw a young girl quietly emerge.
