A look of near-madness gradually emerged on Balnazar's face, a madness that showed no fear of death and was even filled with a desire for it. For him, the word death seemed merely a distant and unfamiliar concept; he had never personally experienced death in its true sense.
For ages, he has used his powerful and sinister power to transform all things that have died into undead creatures under his personal control. Now, he leads a vast army of undead, descending from the sky like a black storm. His target is the elves who inhabit this land, intent on completely annihilating these beautiful and noble creatures.
"Hahahaha!" A chilling, sinister laugh echoed as an invisible, terrifying force surged like a surging wave, sweeping in all directions from Balnazzar's center. The elves below instantly sensed this sudden threat, and a wave of fear washed over them, as if an invisible hand were gripping their hearts. This feeling of dread quickly spread to every cell in their bodies, causing the usually graceful and composed elves to abandon their appearances and flee in panic.
Yet, amidst this chaotic scene, Su Yan stood firm, like an unshakable mountain. With a sharp, hawk-like gaze, he fixed his gaze on the expanding invisible force, silently pondering: This force is as powerful as a massive tsunami, sweeping across the sky. Though seemingly invisible and intangible, the energy contained within is enough to devastate everything. Furthermore, after careful observation and perception, Su Yan quickly realized that this was likely not a simple physical attack, but rather some form of mental manipulation and invasion.
Facing such a formidable foe, Su Yan showed no sign of retreat. The Nineteen-Point Weapon, tightly grasped in his hand, began to dance rapidly, emitting sharp rays of light, forming an incredibly solid defensive barrier. The incoming invisible tsunami's force collided with this barrier, emitting a series of deafening roars, but it was unable to penetrate its defenses and was ultimately successfully resisted.
Suddenly, a faint green light emanated from Su Yan's body, surrounding him like a shield. The flickering green light collided with and offset the incoming mental attack, instantly destroying it. Seeing this, Balnazar, who had been full of confidence, narrowed his eyes, a flicker of surprise in his eyes.
"Hmph, I really underestimated you, a goblin." Balnazar sneered, his eyes fixed on Su Yan, as if he wanted to see through him. "I didn't expect you to be able to block my mental attack so easily. It's really beyond my expectations. But... what happens next won't be so simple!"
Su Yan pretended not to hear Balnazar's words, his eyes narrowed expressionlessly. He clutched the Ten Directions Sword tightly in his hand and charged at him without hesitation. In an instant, the sword flashed like lightning, crisscrossing with sword energy, and he charged towards Balnazar with an unparalleled momentum.
However, at this moment, Balnazzar's previously dark and deep eyes suddenly glowed with an eerie blood-red light. As the light grew stronger, a chilling and terrifying aura surged from his body like a surging tide, rapidly sweeping in all directions.
Su Yan bore the brunt of the impact, enveloped by this powerful aura. Suddenly, he felt as if his willpower was being weighed down by a heavy burden, gradually weakening. His eyelids grew heavier, as if invisible hands were tugging at them, causing them to slumber. An overwhelming sense of drowsiness washed over him, making him feel drowsy and as if he would fall into an endless slumber at any moment.
Seeing Su Yan's reaction, Balnazar's face lit up with a smug smile. He slowly raised his hands, palms facing upward, and muttered something. As he moved and chanted, the blood-red light grew increasingly dazzling, and the terrifying aura around him grew stronger, forming a massive aura that trapped Su Yan tightly.
"Hahahaha!" Balnazar laughed wildly, his voice resounding through the sky. "Boy, just fall into this endless sleep obediently! From now on, you will forever be a puppet in my hands!"
Shalltear's eyes locked on Su Yan, her heart sinking. "Oh no! Something's happened!" With her keen observation and insight into the situation, she could tell at a glance that Su Yan was in an abnormal state, having fallen into a deep sleep. If she couldn't wake him quickly, the consequences would be disastrous. The treacherous and cunning Balnazzar was waiting for an opportunity to attack. If he succeeded, Su Yan's life would be in danger.
Anxious, Shalltear didn't hesitate. She flashed like an arrow, hurtling towards the suspended Balnazzar. She knew only by swiftly killing this detestable foe could she save Su Yan from his predicament. However, just as she neared her target, Balnazzar revealed a smug smile. He muttered something, unleashing a sinister magic that instantly manipulated Su Yan's body, placing him across Shalltear's path.
"Come on! Kill me!" Balnazzar shouted arrogantly. "But before you do, think carefully. Killing one of your own is not a pleasant experience!" Shalltear stopped in her tracks, startled by Su Yan's sudden appearance. She knew Su Yan was completely under his control; otherwise, given his usual personality and behavior, he would never have acted so erratically.
