"Crack! Crack!" A chilling sound echoed, and Su Yan turned his head sharply. He saw that the pile of skeletons next to him, which had been motionless, had actually begun to move slowly, gradually approaching him. Their bodies twisted, and their joints continuously made crackling sounds, as if they would fall apart at any moment.
These skeletons wielded a variety of weapons, some holding rusty swords with mottled rust on their blades, others holding worn shields with traces of dried blood. Their hollow eye sockets flickered with strange light, making them look extremely terrifying.
However, for Su Yan, a veteran of countless battles, such a scene was nothing special. His lips curled up slightly, revealing a disdainful smile as he casually waved his hand. Instantly, a powerful force erupted from his hand, charging directly at the skeletons. With a series of crisp cracks, the skeletons were instantly shattered, scattering to the ground.
But surprisingly, these skeletons did not give up. As if pulled by some mysterious force, their broken bones quickly reunited and formed a complete skeleton again, and rushed towards Su Yan at an even faster speed.
At that moment, Shalltear suddenly shouted, "This is our new friend! Everyone, step back!" Her voice exuded an undeniable authority. Upon hearing this, the skeletons immediately ceased their attacks and retreated without hesitation. Clearly, they were filled with awe for Shalltear.
Shalltear walked up to Su Yan and said with a smile, "Don't worry, this is my territory. I'm here and nothing will happen to you." Su Yan nodded gratefully, then began to look around curiously.
The environment here was truly eerie, the dim light making everything around appear shadowy. Moss and vines covered the walls, and the ground was piled thickly with bones and dust. Despite this, Su Yan found that Shalltear seemed quite comfortable here, her face always filled with a happy smile.
"You seem quite satisfied here," Su Yan asked softly, his lips curling up slightly, revealing a faint smile. He gazed tenderly at Shalltear before him.
"Of course!" Shalltear nodded excitedly, her face brimming with pride and her voice unconsciously rising a few notches. "Let me tell you, I directly manage three entire floors!" She raised her chin, her eyes gleaming with pride, as if this was an extremely remarkable thing.
Hearing this, Su Yan couldn't help but smile and teased, "Wow, so awesome! But the others are only responsible for one floor." He deliberately dragged out his tone, trying to tease the somewhat arrogant girl in front of him.
However, Shalltear didn't care at all. She waved her hand nonchalantly and said, "Tsk~ They're just some lakes, glaciers, forests and the like. What's so special about them? I don't care about these!" After saying that, she winked at Su Yan mischievously.
Then, as if she had thought of something interesting, Shalltear suddenly came up to Su Yan and said with a smile, "Hey, since you're here, you can live here from now on! Don't worry, I'll protect you, and no one will dare to bully you!" She patted her chest and promised, looking very confident.
Faced with Shalltear's enthusiastic invitation, Su Yan just smiled helplessly, then shook his head slightly and said, "Come on, I'm the Goblin God now. In terms of strength, I'm afraid you are no longer my opponent!" As he said that, he raised his eyebrows, and a hint of confidence flashed in his eyes.
"Hmph! I don't believe it!" Shalltear pouts in anger, clearly unconvinced by Su Yan's words. Before she finishes her words, she quickly waves her arms, attempting to absorb Su Yan's blood to prove her ability.
However, just a moment later, Shalltear's face turned pale and she instantly became listless. She was surprised to discover that the energy contained within Su Yan was incredibly powerful. If she forcibly mobilized it, she would be the only one to suffer.
Shalltear took a deep breath, trying to calm her flustered mind. She clenched her teeth, staring intently at the person before her, and said indignantly, "You... when did you become so powerful?"
Hearing this, Su Yan couldn't help but grin, revealing a row of neat white teeth, and responded confidently: "Haha, didn't I tell you a long time ago? Now I have become the Goblin God! Compared to the past, I am now completely different, it's completely incomparable!"
Shalltear sighed helplessly, her heart filled with regret. "I'm so pissed! I thought I could still bully you like before, but who could have imagined I'd be unable to control you so soon! Sigh... I was planning on savoring your blood." As she spoke, she licked her lips gently, as if she was thirsty for Su Yan's blood.
Su Yan smiled slightly upon seeing this, and kindly reminded him, "If you really want to suck my blood, then be gentle and keep your mouth closed. After all, with your current strength, it's probably difficult for you to withstand the enormous energy contained in my body."
Upon hearing this, Shalltear curled her lips and snorted coquettishly: "Hmph! You still have some conscience and know what's good for you!" After that, she said no more, but stood there quietly, watching Su Yan walk forward step by step.
