Abandoning husband and children

Abandoning husband and children

"Bang!! Bang!!!"

The enormous impact resounded throughout the entire Forest Temple.

"Your Highness, you have just given birth, please take care of your health."

"Get out of here!"

Sorea used her sword to push aside the elf kneeling at her feet and clutching the hem of her skirt, and continued kicking at the tightly closed palace door in front of her.

Despite her own injuries, the chosen elf continued to cling to the hem of Soraya's skirt.

"Your Highness Soraya, our Lord is performing divine incubation on the little prince. You must not go in and disturb him, or you will hurt him."

Sorea stopped kicking the door, coldly glancing at the elven servants who had been drawn to the sound and were now kneeling on the ground, without uttering a word.

Seeing Solya stop moving, the elf clutching the hem of her skirt felt a surge of joy, thinking that the little prince had awakened her maternal instincts. She and the other elves kneeling beside her breathed a sigh of relief.

Seeing the expressions of the elves around her, Solaya snorted coldly and raised her hand to thrust the sword in her hand into the doorway.

The protective shield at the door of the room did nothing to stop her attack; the sword pierced directly into the closed room, shattering the protective shield outside.

At the moment it shattered, everyone present heard a muffled groan coming from inside the room.

"My lord!" Upon hearing the voice coming from the room, all the elven servants present hurriedly cried out anxiously.

"Velderien, let me tell you, whether you know about this or not, I will not let her go." Sorea snorted coldly and turned away amidst all the gasps of surprise.

Veldrian, the god of forests and mountains, and husband of Solaya.

Back in her room, Sorea instructed her personal guards to pack her things as she prepared to leave the Forest Temple, when a soft, delicate voice drifted over.

"Sister, sister, how did you hurt Master?"

A beautiful elf girl, holding a bouquet of flowers, slowly walked into the hall.

Solaya didn't bother arguing with her, and walked deeper into the room without even glancing at her.

Seeing Soraya about to leave, the elven girl continued speaking:

"Sister, is it because the master was planning to make me a concubine that you hurt him?"

Sorea initially didn't intend to pay attention to her, but seeing that she refused to leave, she had no choice but to stop and turn to face the direction from which the sound came.

"Isn't this what you wanted?"

"Sister, please don't misunderstand. Ailowen only has a long-standing relationship with the master, but it can't compare to yours. Please don't blame brother; it's all Ailowen's fault." Ailowen, seemingly oblivious to Sorea's cold face, walked to her side and spoke.

Sorea was immediately overwhelmed with boredom; she was fed up with acting out a show with these people every day.

He drew his sword and thrust it into Aloysius's heart.

Alovian was caught off guard by Solaya's sudden attack and desperately tried to dodge to the side, but Solaya's sword was faster.

Blood splattered from Alovin's shoulder, and Alovin couldn't help but cry out in pain.

Soon, the elven people and elven soldiers surrounded Solaya's palace, with several elder elven men protecting Alovin behind them.

Ailowen's wounds began to heal. Looking at her people beside her, she wiped away non-existent tears and spoke:

“Sister, it is the will of the gods to make me a concubine. I am, after all, the chieftain of the Elf race, you…”

Her words were interrupted by a sword that suddenly appeared at her neck.

"Say something! Why did you stop talking?"

The sword's owner, Soraya, had already broken through the encirclement and arrived at Aloyon's side the moment Aloyon spoke.

Soleria then looked around, facing the thousands of elves before her, raised her voice, and loudly questioned:

"Are you surrounding the palace of your god in rebellion?"

"I was supposed to marry my master back then, but you threatened him with the divine child in your womb and forced him to marry you!" Alovian reached for the sword at his neck.

Feeling the sword slip from her hand, Sorea's pupils contracted, and she cursed inwardly, "Damn it."

Since her unexpected childbirth, she had been forcing herself to stay strong so as not to let anyone see her weakness. But now she was at her limit, and her limbs were completely powerless.

With Alovin snatching it away, Solaya's hand was flung away, and the sword in her hand fell instantly. Seeing that her sword was about to fall to the ground, she immediately reached out to pick it up.

Elowin, who had been waiting for an opportunity, seized the moment and teleported to another location, excitedly saying, "I knew you were acting strangely today. It turns out that giving birth to a divine child really does require the mother to provide half of the power."

When Soraya's sword fell to the ground, joy spread across the faces of all the elves on the field.

"I am the goddess your master married. Aren't you afraid of divine punishment from your gods for treating me like this?"

Soleria was utterly disgusted with being Veldrian's wife, but in order to escape this place, she had to bring up this identity again.

Seeing that some of his people were beginning to waver and gradually put down their weapons, Alovian was furious. He hadn't expected that even at this point, Soraya could still so easily sway others' resolve.

She quickly added fuel to the fire, "Our master was forced back then. Now that the divine child has been born, we are here to help our master clear the obstacles. Let's fire the arrows quickly."

A dense barrage of enchanted arrows rained down on Solia. She gritted her teeth and raised her sword again, managing to knock down only a few stray arrows.

Just as more arrows were about to rain down, a giant sword descended from the sky, slamming down the rain of arrows and igniting a ring of raging fire that separated all the elves from Solaya.

Then the greatsword was retrieved, the temperature of the flames continued to rise, and two knights, a man and a woman, dressed in black armor and with their faces covered by black cloth, descended from the sky, protecting Soraya from the left and right.

These two were Soraya's Oathkeeper Knights, who had finally broken through the elven blockade and arrived.

Seeing that her own people had arrived, Sorea felt relieved and sent a telepathic message to them:

"Al, Arlene, I've lost most of my strength. There are too many of them. Don't fight them head-on."

The two nodded slightly upon hearing the instruction, indicating that they understood.

Seeing that he still couldn't win over Soraya, Alovian grew anxious, completely forgetting his gentle public persona, and cried out sharply:

"Don't think you're saved just because your two good dogs have arrived. None of the three of you will leave here alive today."

Just before the elves prepared to launch their next attack, Solaya looked at the elven elder who had remained silent:

Are you all going to make things difficult for me too?

The elven elders exchanged glances, and finally one of them, whose hair had turned white, spoke:

"Chief Elowen is acting in the name of our Lord. We do not wish to make things difficult for you, but the prelude to war has already begun. Our Emerald Sea Kingdom does not want to be drawn into the war, so we can only apologize to you. We will apologize to our Lord."

“You seem to have forgotten one thing.” Soraya looked at the elves before her with disdain through her sky-blue eyes.

She never expected the elves to come up with this excuse; even saying it was to avenge Veldrian would have been better.

The mere thought of the name Veldrian brought a sharp, piercing pain to Solaya's heart. She had never imagined that leaving her homeland to marry this man, thinking that love made everything else unimportant, would turn out to be the beginning of a tragedy. The seemingly perfect marriage between the ruler of the Emerald Sea Kingdom and the princess of the Death Sea Kingdom was, in reality, fraught with injustice.

Thinking about everything between the two of them, Sorea closed her eyes. It was time for me to leave.

After thinking it through, she resolutely opened her eyes, raised her head, and spoke softly:

“I am Sorea. My father is the ruler of the ocean, the master of hurricanes, and the father of war. I am one of the heirs of the Sea of Death. Are you declaring war on my father and brothers with these actions?”

All the elves were stunned.

Since arriving at the Emerald Sea with the forest god Viridern, Solya has avoided contact with the outside world for the sake of her unborn child. Her gentleness, coupled with Alovin's constant instigation, caused all the elves to forget that she too was a child of the gods and had every right to be proud.

Furthermore, the forest god's excessive benevolence caused the elves to lose their most basic fear and respect for the gods.

Just as all the elves were stunned, the Emerald Sea began to shake violently, trees fell one after another, and countless birds flew out of their nests, calling out as they hovered in the sky.

"How could that be?"

"How could the Kingdom of God be shaken?"

"My lord, save me!"

All the elves were incredulous and screamed in panic.

Outsiders would never know that such elegant and beautiful creatures as elves could make such an unpleasant sound.

"It's time." Sorea's goal of stalling for time was achieved.

Only then did Alovian realize what was happening, and disregarding the flames that the elves feared most, he lunged at Solaya.

But it was too slow; the water gushing from the ground swept Soraya and the other two into the earth.

Before being completely swept away by the water, Solia deliberately gave all the elves a mischievous smile.

"Water, it's water. I remember now, Sorea's talent is water."

Alovian saw the kingdom of God, which was almost submerged by water, and spoke to himself.

The arrogant elves finally understood the power of the gods and why the divine child was different from everyone else.

The once lush and verdant divine kingdom, filled with trees and vines, is constantly being eroded by the underground waters. Countless ancient trees, some thousands of years old, have fallen, leaving only a few ancient trees that have grown since the beginning of creation and whose age is unknown, struggling to survive.

The flood did not last long. After the three of them left the divine kingdom created by the gods, Sorea collapsed on the back of her knight, completely exhausted from using up all her divine power.

"Run, hurry up, don't stop." Soraya knew very well that although they had escaped the Emerald Sea, the road ahead would be even more difficult.

The divine son of a righteous god, having lost all his divine power, is like a tempting piece of meat, attracting the frenzied pursuit of all the protectors of evil gods and sentient but mindless beings.

As a god of forests and mountains born from trees, Veldrian's divine kingdom, the Emerald Sea, is located in the primeval forest at the easternmost edge of the Singri continent—the Dragonspine Forest.

This is not good news for the three people who finally managed to leave Emerald Sea.

All three understood that there were even greater challenges within the Dragonspine Forest.

After speaking, Soraya, who was on Al's back, fell into a coma. The wounds inflicted by the rain of arrows had slowed down their healing rate after Soraya lost all her divine power.

The wounds that Soraya usually disregarded and could heal almost instantly now exuded the fragrance of divine blood, becoming the greatest threat to the three of them in this primeval forest.

The entanglement with the elves didn't actually waste much of Soraya and her companions' strength, but after reaching the edge of the Emerald Sea Kingdom by following the water in the underground river, the three of them exhausted all their strength in order to break through the kingdom's barrier.

Exhausted and powerless, the three did not notice a pair of huge yellow pupils that had been watching them from afar ever since they appeared in the Dragonspine Forest.
