Soraya's disappearance
Sorea couldn't break free from this force. Her repeated attempts to leave the cave were futile. Only after reaching the deepest part of the cave did the force stop pushing her and instead seal the cave.
When she finally stopped, Solaya was shocked to realize that she had gained a physical form under that power. After confirming that she had a body, she hurriedly began to draw inscriptions and totems, but she still failed.
Solaya had no choice but to start observing the area in front of her, but all she could see was darkness. She instinctively touched the area behind her and felt an unbreakable barrier rising up, blocking her way out.
Seeing that she couldn't leave the way she came, Solaya decided to find another way out. She was now facing a serious problem: she couldn't use the power of the runes, and she was now facing a completely invisible black hole.
Soraya couldn't see what was ahead, couldn't hear a sound, and couldn't feel the wind. She knew she couldn't stay still. As she gradually adapted to the darkness and could vaguely make out some things, Soraya moved.
She moved forward hesitantly and cautiously, feeling her way along the wall. Without her noticing, she kicked a stone, and Solaya instinctively stopped. She waited for a long time but didn't hear the stone hit the ground.
Sorea's heart skipped a beat; something was wrong.
She slowly crouched down, reaching out to touch what lay ahead. After observing for a long time, Sorea discovered that there was a bottomless hole in front of her.
Sorea initially thought having a physical body was a good thing, as it allowed her to touch things. However, upon seeing the hole in front of her, she felt that she would rather remain in her soul state, so she wouldn't have to worry about falling in. If it weren't for the rock she had accidentally kicked earlier, she would have been torn to pieces.
"Get down!"
Solaya recognized the voice; it was the first evil god to speak before entering the cave. Solaya mentally cursed all the evil gods outside. She hadn't expected that these evil gods had been observing her movements all along.
Who knows what's down there? Sorea pretended not to hear. She was a person with a body but no strength right now; she wouldn't even know how she died if she fell.
But the evil god wasn't negotiating with Solaya. Seeing that she hadn't moved and even showed signs of retreating, a force directly slammed Solaya down.
"It's that trick again! Are you trying to make a fool of me like a monkey in a circus?" Sorea was furious. Anyone would be angry if they were kidnapped and harassed first. She felt that the evil gods outside could hear her voice and started cursing at them. When she realized she couldn't stop, she let her body fall downwards.
The hole was incredibly deep. As she fell, Soraya smelled a floral fragrance and gradually drifted off to sleep.
Contrary to what Sorea had expected, after she fell into the deep hole, the evil god outside could no longer monitor her.
After Soraya entered the cave, without the attention of any righteous gods, most of the evil gods in the underworld, including the longest-standing ones, gathered at the small cave entrance, watching Soraya until she was thrown in.
Why doesn't she want to go down?
"What's inside should be extremely attractive to her. Greed, aren't you looking for the wrong person?"
“I told you that greed is unreliable, but you insisted on asking her to go.”
"It's because greed makes the smallest and most petite creature easy to lower people's guard, otherwise they wouldn't have let Him go."
"I think that might be the Dark Lord. You're all just conspiring!"
"If what you say is true, then using up most of the divine power outside and risking a huge backlash to help Greed escape is a waste of effort."
"Given the attitude of that tomb owner towards her and the threats he made to me, I'm certain our efforts weren't in vain." The last to speak was Greed, who had remained silent until now.
After He spoke, all the gods at the cave entrance fell silent, waiting for the event they had been anticipating for countless millennia to succeed.
...
Just before Solya fell into the deep hole, Veldrian opened his eyes—Tarasi had finally fully awakened his divine power and started crying desperately. Veldrian immediately picked him up and held him in his arms to comfort him. Just as Veldrian was wondering why Tarasi had fully awakened a month early, he suddenly realized that he could not sense any of Solya's presence.
Veldrian couldn't believe he had completely lost Soraya's trail, so he immediately spread his mental energy across the entire Singri continent. Every plant was his eye, and nothing in the world could escape his gaze.
All the demigods on the continent felt a powerful gaze upon them. The two popes of the Harvest Church and the Iron Church immediately understood that this gaze came from the gods and immediately tried to contact their gods through prayer. The pressure from the gods of forests and mountains made people uneasy.
"What's that guy doing?" Kelly, who hadn't caught up with her younger sister, rolled her eyes at her brother-in-law's inexplicable crazy behavior that had angered her sister.
Dagmore stopped Kellis from saying anything more. He knew that Veldrian was not the kind of person who would do such a thing, and that gods usually wouldn't let anyone know when they were surveying the entire continent. Veldrian must have his reasons for doing what he did.
"Keliss, go and contact Father God immediately to ask what happened?"
Infected by his brother's serious expression, Kelly put down what she was doing about dealing with the aftermath of the beast tide, tore off the glass bottle filled with seawater from her neck, and prayed to her father.
Talmawen, who had already awakened from his slumber, did not respond to his prayers.
After three unsuccessful prayers, Kelly broke out in a cold sweat; he knew something must have happened.
...
Talmawen, who was not responding to the prayers, was talking to Chrona in the Otherworld.
"Where is my star, my Aya?"
Talmawen arrived at the intersection of the Underworld and the Tomb of the Dead the moment Soraya's aura disappeared, questioning Krona, who was unable to leave the Tomb of the Dead.
"You clearly said that as long as I cooperated with the evil god and made you fall into evil godhood, our child, our Aya, would be safe!"
Talmawen was already mentally unstable, showing signs of his impending fall. Years ago, he harmed his wife for the sake of their child, and was seen as an ungrateful villain by other knowing gods. Now, his wife was imprisoned and his child was in trouble, all of which he could not accept.
"Those old bastards, seeing that I couldn't leave the Tomb of the Dead after my fall, set their sights on Aya. I thought I could keep them in check, but I didn't expect that they were all outwardly compliant but inwardly defiant towards me!"
"So my Aya didn't disappear in this place?" Veldrian found that he couldn't find Soraya on the continent, and then saw that Talmawen, who should have been as worried about Soraya as He was, was not looking for Soraya's whereabouts but suddenly entered the inner world. He immediately followed Talmawen's footsteps.
Talmawen and Chrona were so worried about Solaya's safety that they didn't notice Veldrian following them, which allowed Veldrian to overhear their conversation.
"Why did you bring Tarashi here?" Talmawen's first attention wasn't on Veldrian, but on the child He was holding. "Has his divine awakening been completed? Are you confident you can keep him safe in the Otherworld?"
Talmawen was also blinded by concern. Even the power of the Blood Eye could ensure Soraya's safety in the Inner World. For Veldrian, protecting his child was as simple as drinking water.
"I would never let anything happen to my child and wife. Only those who cannot protect their wife and child worry about their own inadequacy." Veldrian no longer trusts anyone. He feels that his child and wife are safest only by his side, and he does not want to entrust his child to anyone else's care.
Verdrian's calm words stung Talmawen's face, leaving him speechless and unable to find a rebuttal.
Krona's entire attention was focused on Tarasi in Veldrian's arms. This was the first time she had seen her grandson, the child of her own child. Although the little child did not resemble Sorea at all, he reminded her of Sorea when she was a child.
Seeing Chrona's gaze, Veldrian spoke up: "When I used my mental power to search for Solaya's whereabouts just now, I sensed that Solaya disappeared together with the Greedy Blood Eye in the former Dream Source. Don't you two intend to give me an explanation?"
"I haven't even addressed you yet, and you all come running over to ask me, right!" Chrona felt utterly disgusted at the mention of the Greedy Blood Eye, as if she'd swallowed a fly. "Don't you know there's an evil god beside Aya? You just let that evil god follow Aya around!"
"Greedy Blood Eye? Wasn't that guy beaten to the point of almost disappearing by me and Suthesius?" Talmawen never expected that this matter was related to this guy.
Veldrian also spoke up: "After Aya ran away from home, I concealed her presence, making you all think that she was obediently in my Emerald Sea. Before the beast tide and at the very beginning of the beast tide, I was always by Soraya's side, and I also reminded Aya that she must never completely trust the evil god."
"But it was this weak evil god Red who tricked Aya into coming to see me, and then stole my Aya under the protection of my divine power!" Chrona's anger had reached its peak. "I feel as if the aura of many evil gods has disappeared in one place. I suspect Aya is there. I cannot leave the Tomb of the Dead. You must go there for me and bring my child back."
After receiving the location from Chrona, Talmawen and Veldrian quickly flew towards it.
Sorea, in her deep sleep, was completely unaware that her disappearance had attracted so much attention. In her dream, she saw a door. She had forgotten that she was asleep and in a deep sleep. All she could see now was the door in front of her, and she felt that all her confusion could be resolved behind it.
