Chapter 240

An Ge didn't expect that before Fang Yuanyuan arrived, the elf would arrive instead.

That's right, the moment Ange saw the other person's face, she knew that the other person was a purebred elf.

The human race is fighting the elves, and An Ge really didn't expect to see elves in such a dangerous place.

The elf Beaton looked at Hu Jiu and the others with a wary expression, seemingly ready to flee at any moment.

Gel patted Beaton's arm reassuringly, "Don't worry, Beaton, they're good people. They have no prejudice against elves."

Ange quickly came out of the house, looked at Bitton and nodded, "That's right, I also have elf friends, so I won't hurt elves."

Beaton, who had been tense, immediately relaxed the moment he saw Ange. He wouldn't have believed anyone else if they told him, but Ange was different. Ange's aura was naturally appealing to elves who were close to nature, not to mention that Beaton sensed a special aura emanating from her.

"You, you bear the blessing of my king?"

The Elf King's blessing is only given to his closest friends among the elves. This is the first time he has ever seen such a blessing in all his years of life, and it is on someone who looks like a human.

An Ge frowned in confusion. When did she receive the Elf King's blessing?

Suddenly, Ange realized that she seemed to have had contact with the Elf King.

Through Jon's connections, she reached a friendly and mutually beneficial agreement with the Elf King, allowing the elves to come to the inn in groups and become the inn's fruit supplier.

The Elf King seemed to have said that he would give her a blessing as a sign of his friendship with her.

Ange originally thought it was just an ordinary remark, but she didn't expect that the Elf King, this honest king, meant it when he said he would give a blessing.

Ange didn't know how to explain, but looking at the excited elf in front of her, she told the truth, "Uh, I don't actually know your king, but I know other elf kings. This blessing was given by him."

“What other elven king? Our elven race only has one king, and the one you know must be our king,” Beaton said with certainty.

An Ge suddenly didn't want to explain anymore. "You're not wrong to think that way, are you?" If this could gain the elves' trust, it wouldn't be bad.

When Beaton saw Ango, it was like a wanderer seeing a relative. Although the other was a human and the two races were at war, the elves had no prejudice against humans; in fact, many humans had helped them.

For example, this time, if it weren't for Ger's help, he would have almost been discovered by the army.

"My lord, our Elven race is in dire straits. You are a friend of my king; have you come to help?"

“We want to deal with Fang Yuanyuan, which is the same goal as yours.”

“Great! Once I’ve rested, I’ll take you to see my king.”

"By the way, I didn't know you were in Palin Town." Fang Yuanyuan is coming soon, and it's not safe here at all.

Before Beaton could speak, Gel said angrily, "Hmph, I heard that the Guardians of Victreebel have also arrived. They have equipment that can detect the identities of elves. If I hadn't reacted quickly and saved Beaton, he might have been captured too."

Beaton nodded quickly. "Their equipment is too powerful. They can detect our presence from a great distance. I came to the human race to find a way to cooperate with the resistance, but I almost got captured."

Thinking back to the danger he had faced, Beaton couldn't help but feel a lingering fear.

Gel snorted, "You've chosen the wrong people to cooperate with the resistance. If you ask me, they're in cahoots with Fang Yuanyuan."

“Byton, you should stop looking for the rebels for now. If nothing unexpected happens, Fang Yuanyuan will probably arrive in the next few days. It would be better to go back to the Elven race first.”

Beaton agreed without hesitation to An Ge's suggestion. "Okay. There are more and more National Protection Army soldiers outside. Let's set off tonight."

After discussing it, the group decided to follow Beaton to the Elven realm under the cover of darkness.

The appearance of Biton was an unexpected bonus for Ange and the others. With the help of the elves, their chances of winning would be much greater.

The group arrived at a secluded corner. Just as Ange was wondering what was going on, she heard Bitton say, "There is an elven teleportation array here. That's how I came to the human realm."

Ange looked at the dilapidated house in surprise. If Bitton hadn't mentioned it, no one would have imagined that there would be a teleportation array in this run-down village.

"The teleportation array here is almost out of energy, but I can still take you there." As he spoke, Beaton placed a stone into the depression of the stone tablet next to the teleportation array, and instantly, the location of the teleportation array lit up.

An Ge looked at the stone curiously. If she wasn't mistaken, it contained immense elemental power. She wondered if replacing it with a spirit stone would work.

This wasn't the time for exploration, so An Ge and the others quickly followed. Bitton activated the teleportation array, and the next second, they found themselves in a forest.

"Byton, you're back. Why did you bring a human with you? Hmm, this person bears my king's blessing; are you a friend of my king?"

Before An Ge could react, she heard the guard's emotions shift several times.

“I am indeed a friend of the elves,” Ange replied. She wasn’t lying, except that she wasn’t an elf from this plane.

The guards bowed respectfully to An Ge, saying, "It is our honor to have you here, my lord."

Beaton led Ange towards their lodging. The environment here was similar to the Elf Garden, but the trees were much taller. Ange could even hear the trees breathing, which calmed her down.

Living in such an environment, even desires diminish, no wonder the elves are so peaceful and undisturbed.

Ange and the others were used to it and weren't surprised. This only made Bitton more certain that Ange must have lived among the elves before.

After settling Ange and the others in, Bitton hurried to the Elf King's Palace.

"Beeton, you're back? How did things go?" the palace guard greeted Beeton.

"Things have changed, and I have something more important to report."

Upon entering the palace, Beaton recounted his encounter with Ango to the Elf King.

The Elf King wore a crown woven from silver leaves over his long golden hair, held a scepter, and his silver-grey eyes exuded an inviolable nobility.

Are you sure the other person carries my blessing?

“I am certain that I will not mistake the King’s blessing,” Beaton affirmed.

The Elf King carefully recalled his thousands of years of life, but he couldn't recall ever giving a blessing to anyone, especially not a human.

"Your Majesty, it seems you have encountered some difficulty?" Beaton asked with concern.

"It's alright. Bring the blessed human here. I want to meet him." The Elf King wasn't worried about any danger to the other party. Firstly, only a few people had come, and secondly, he could guarantee their absolute safety on Elf territory.

Inside the wooden house, Ange was wondering how she could meet the Elf King when she heard Beaton say that the Elf King wanted to see her.

“Okay, I’ll go right away,” An Ge happily agreed.

Ange wasn't worried about her going alone. Elves were pure of heart, and besides, she was friendly towards them, so she wasn't afraid of their tests.
