Chapter Forty

An Ge understood; it seemed she must have a wood elemental root.

After an unknown amount of time, An Ge smelled a fragrance, opened her eyes, and saw the old man lazily leaning against a rock, drinking wine.

"Master!" An Ge exclaimed in surprise.

"What are you yelling about? Go on," the old man said, glaring at him with displeasure.

An Ge continued grilling the meat, saying, "Hehe, thank you, Master."

"I don't know what kind of meat this is, but it tastes amazing. If I could bring this to the inn, it would be a huge hit," An Ge thought as she ate.

"Hmm? You've already reached the first level of Qi Refining?"

"Master, have you discovered that your disciple is an unparalleled genius?" An Ge asked expectantly, perhaps she, like the protagonists in those cultivation novels, possessed extraordinary talent!

"Master, can you at least tell me what this place is?" She originally thought that studying in the Boundless Space would be like entering a virtual classroom, but everything here felt incredibly real.

An Ge suspected that she had arrived in a new dimension, and judging from the situation, it might be a cultivation dimension.

"Stop asking irrelevant questions. Is there anything you don't understand about cultivation?"

"Yes!" An Ge's attention was immediately diverted, and she asked her master about the questions she didn't understand.

The old man breathed a sigh of relief as he answered.

Fortunately, he didn't ask any more questions, otherwise his master's authority would have been damaged.

After all, he didn't even know this godforsaken place.
