Chapter Four

The group of men in black were on high alert, and the scene that had just been filled with fighting and killing fell eerily quiet.

"It was my brother's fault for disturbing you, senior. We only wish to resolve our personal grievances. Please, senior, show mercy." The leader of the men in black bowed to the air in apology.

Did they think she had a powerful backer? Not wrong, the system was indeed the powerful backer hiding behind her.

When the men in black showed her hostility, the system had already activated the punishment option for her. With just a thought, An Ge could easily drive them out.

But if you disturb her and the big treasury, you can't just be punished.

An Ge stepped forward and said to the man in black with a concerned expression, "I am just an ordinary innkeeper, not a master. Sir, you look travel-worn, would you like to rest at my inn?"

The man in black unconsciously took a step back, then realized he had been tricked. How could they believe that such a young woman could be a mysterious master? He roared, "Playing tricks!" Yet his expression remained wary.

"We'll fight!" The leader of the men in black gritted his teeth. There are no grandmasters in the world. Perhaps that one strike was just the trump card of the person in front of him.

Having missed this assassination opportunity, Prince Duan will surely become wary, making future successes unlikely. And if they fail to complete the mission, their master will not let them off the hook.

An Ge seemed oblivious to the murderous intent emanating from the crowd, glancing at them casually, making it impossible for them to take another step. Immediately afterward, a chilling electric current surged through their bodies.

The man in black felt as if he had been struck by lightning, experiencing extreme pain in his internal organs, and couldn't help but beg for mercy loudly.

They were wrong. This wasn't the power of a grandmaster; it was clearly the ability of a demon. Yes, the woman before them must be a demon.

If An Ge knew what the man in black was thinking, she would definitely increase the intensity of the electric shocks.

How does she look like a monster? The big treasury even calls her a fairy.

The scene before them stunned everyone, making Feng Jinghan and the other person even more respectful of An Ge.

"Truly divine intervention!" Feng Jinghan was inwardly thrilled. If she could be valued by the immortals, that position seemed to hold no appeal whatsoever.

An Ge ended the electric shocks, and the men in black collapsed to the ground.

"Are you guys going to eat or not?" An Ge was too lazy to pretend anymore. After all the commotion, it was almost closing time, and she refused to work overtime.

"No, no..."

An Ge glared at him!

"Eat..." Waaah, the female monster is too terrifying. Are we going to become her meal? The men in black thought desperately.

"Order now, quick!" She was going to force a sale today; the system hadn't said she couldn't use coercion, had it?

system:"……"

The men in black were as docile as quails. Following An Ge's instructions, they swiped their cards and paid in one smooth motion. They didn't even bother to look at the menu, just pointing at it casually.

"Ding! Current task progress: 3/3, task completed. Claim reward?"

no!

An Ge smiled and closed the taskbar, looking at the man in black with even more enthusiasm: "Please take a seat, guest. The food will be ready soon."

A dozen or so people sat around the table nervously, and when there wasn't enough room, some even sat on the floor.

I dare not stand, I dare not stand!

The people who were originally on the verge of conflict are now crowding around the dilapidated dining table, sitting upright like wilted eggplants, with not a trace of their fierceness remaining.

Feng Jinghan exclaimed: "As expected of a fairy, what amazing skills!"

He wondered if it was just his imagination, but he felt that the fairy really just wanted to do business, and that she was only dealing with the men in black because they had broken the inn's rules.

So, he wasn't anything special after all? Feng Jinghan felt a strange sense of loss.

When the food was served, the men in black exchanged bewildered glances. They had been chasing each other for most of the day, and the aroma of the food only fueled their hunger.

Consider this their last meal before they die! With that thought, the men in black began to wolf down their food.

It's delicious, so delicious!

For a moment, the room was filled with the sound of slurping noodles.

An Ge looked at everyone with satisfaction. The store was full of customers and her pockets were bulging. This was what it meant to run a shop. If she could just be a hands-off manager, that would be even better.

After everyone finished eating, An Ge opened the punishment interface and unhesitatingly chose "expulsion" to blacklist the person. Her actions were swift and smooth, perfectly embodying the behavior of a "scumbag woman".

Before the man in black could react, accompanied by a deafening roar, he was thrown out of the inn by An Ge like dumplings being dropped into a pot.

If they're lucky, they'll probably fend for themselves in some remote mountain valley. If they encounter wolves or tigers, well, that's just bad luck.

An Ge looked up at the sky and pretended to offer a moment of silence to the people in black.

Everything returned to calm. An Ge yawned, checked the time, and changed the "Open for Business" sign to "Closed".

A good day, time to leave work early!

Turning to look at the two dumbfounded people, he smiled and said, "You two should get some rest. If you get hungry in the middle of the night, there are instant noodles in the guest room; you can just make them with water. For breakfast tomorrow, just come to the lobby after eight o'clock."

After saying that, he pretended not to see Feng Jinghan's hesitant expression, quickly gathered up the dishes and put them all into the dishwasher.

Back in the cabin, lying on the wooden bed, Ange's tense nerves finally relaxed.

Despite her relaxed demeanor as she faced the men in black, she was actually putting on a brave face, her heart pounding with anxiety. Although she had the system's protection, she had grown up in peace and had never witnessed any fighting or killing.

The other world is too terrifying. Before she has the ability to protect herself, she has to survive in the inn until the end of time!

An Ge shook her head, banishing the horrible image from her mind, and opened the business interface. Looking at today's income, she felt great.

Little money is still the cutest.

However, her good mood didn't last long, because she found that her income wasn't as much as she had imagined.

"System, give me back the money you embezzled!" An Ge said through gritted teeth.

Is it easy for her to run a shop in this desolate place? And that damn system shamelessly steals her money!

"The operating system will deduct 5% of the revenue as operating energy. Please continue to work hard to operate the business. Only operating revenue can be used for shopping in the mall."

An Ge opened the message and saw this statement.

"I want to complain about the system. You are not living up to your name, you are deceiving the host, and you are trying to force the host into a miserable life of 996 or even 007." I wouldn't say I was angry, but I was really frustrated.

Furthermore, An Ge discovered that while the system didn't respond frequently, it always provided hints when encountering critical issues. With a "let's give it a try" attitude, An Ge decided to take advantage of the system.

system……

"Due to the system's location error, compensation has been issued to the host and the weather forecast function has been activated."

The dog system really screwed her over!

An Ge seized the opportunity to continue making demands, but no matter how she threatened, the system remained unresponsive. In the end, she could only give up, consoling herself that receiving a reward was an unexpected bonus.

Ange opened the weather forecast details and took a look. As the name suggests, it's a weather forecast function that can accurately predict the weather for the next seven days. For Ange, this function is better than nothing, but it can provide convenience for guests.

"They're really going down the path of charlatanism more and more," An Ge couldn't help but complain.
