Back in her room, An Ge breathed a sigh of relief. She hadn't dared to communicate with the system in the host communication space, fearing she'd be discovered.
"I should probably avoid the communication space in the future." She just wanted to run her own little shop and had no intention of joining forces with or fighting against other hosts.
Ange opened the reward space, took out the special building, and carefully examined its attributes.
"The studio can accommodate 10,000 people and has complete performance equipment, which enhances the performances and provides a better viewing experience for the audience. Note: Please be mindful of the audience's psychological capacity and avoid extreme emotional reactions."
It seems that special buildings have a blessing effect, but I wonder what the actual experience of this building's effect is like?
An Ge opened the inn map to check the placement location. The map clearly showed the inn's development area and the distribution of various buildings. An Ge found a suitable location and placed the broadcasting hall there.
The next moment, an oval-shaped building rose from the ground, startling the guests who had been out for a stroll. Although they had already witnessed the manager's amazing skills, they were still amazed every time they saw it.
"There's something new again, let's go check it out!" People called out to their friends, and in no time, a large crowd had gathered outside the studio.
Unfortunately, the gate is still locked, and they cannot go in to see the whole picture, but this does not dampen their enthusiasm for the discussion.
What does "studio" mean?
"In my opinion, this should be a place for performances. Perhaps the manager will hire some actors to perform?"
"How could the store manager possibly be interested in an actress?"
"You're new here, aren't you? If you stay at the inn long enough, you'll know that in the manager's eyes, there's no distinction between noble and lowly. Even if this really was prepared for actors, it wouldn't be surprising."
Many people nodded in agreement, accepting this statement. However, a small minority remained unconvinced, and due to the attitudes of others, they dared only keep these thoughts to themselves.
Linxian Village has now become the largest village in Huaixi City. The village is filled with rows of blue brick and tile houses, clean and tidy roads, and guesthouses and small shops everywhere.
As more and more people came to Xianyuan Inn, the rooms were already fully booked. Some people, wanting to experience the wonders of the immortals up close, rented rooms in several nearby villages. Over time, the area began to resemble a small town.
Early in the morning, the village came alive with the news that a strangely shaped building had appeared overnight near the guesthouse. Tourists from out of town whispered among themselves at the village entrance, their eyes filled with astonishment.
The villagers of Linxian Village looked on with pride, as if they thought the villagers were making a fuss over nothing. "What's so surprising? We saw with our own eyes that the inn was transformed from a two-story building into what it is now."
Unsurprisingly, as soon as he said this, the tourists' attention was immediately drawn to him, and they eagerly pulled him aside to know the details.
The villagers enjoyed being surrounded by people and, without keeping everyone in suspense, recounted how the inn had changed, leaving everyone speechless.
"This is amazing!" someone couldn't help but exclaim.
"That's why it's called divine intervention! If you stay here longer, you might see something like this too. This time, the divine intervention probably took place in the middle of the night, which is why everyone missed it. Just be more careful next time." After saying that, he went to work amidst the envious gazes of the crowd.
"What a pity! I wish I hadn't slept so soundly last night. I'll go and extend my stay for a few more days. I definitely can't miss such a wonderful scene next time."
"I'm going too!" Everyone went back and decided to stay in Linxian Village for a while longer.
Many villagers chuckled at the sight, thanking the Xianyuan Inn for keeping their guesthouse in high demand. Now, every household in the village is quite well-off, rivaling even the wealthiest families in the city. Linxian Village enjoys a stellar reputation throughout Huaixi City.
Several people who had left the village couldn't make a living elsewhere, and after hearing about what had happened in their village, they wanted to return, feeling dejected. Unfortunately, no matter how much they pleaded, the villagers refused to let them come back.
In the words of the village chief, they are considered by many to be the largest village under the immortals, and they must not tarnish the immortals' reputation, nor can they allow any thieves or cheaters to exist.
Shen Xin'er also curiously followed to see the new building. When she heard the discussion, her heart raced, and she could no longer contain her excitement. She quickly ran back to the small courtyard where she was renting.
"Sister Yue, the shopkeeper used magic to create a new house. The guests said it's a place for song and dance performances. Do you think this is what the shopkeeper prepared for us?"
Upon hearing this, Wu Ziyue also stood up excitedly. They had been in Linxian Village for almost half a month, and since their first meeting with the shopkeeper, they hadn't had a chance to see him again. Although people from the shop would occasionally come to check on their expenses, they still felt uneasy without seeing the shopkeeper.
Wu Ziyue calmed down and said to everyone, "Don't spread rumors before the store manager says so."
Everyone agreed.
To their surprise, someone from the inn soon came and said the manager wanted to see them.
After tidying themselves up, Wu Ziyue and her group followed the newcomer into the backyard of the inn. She cautiously looked up and saw that her junior sister Hua Su was also there, which eased her nervousness somewhat.
She had grown up with Hua Su and Hua Yue since childhood, and never expected to see them at the inn. After the three met, they learned about each other's experiences over the years, and their gratitude towards the innkeeper deepened.
After settling things in the studio, An Ge immediately called over Wu Ziyue and the others. Noticing their nervousness, An Ge didn't mince words, "There are some rooms in the studio, you can stay there from now on. If you have any performance assignments, you can perform there. Since Hua Su knows you, she will be in charge of the performances from now on. If you have any questions, just come and ask me."
Hua Su smiled and agreed, "I'll first try it out in the studio as the manager just said. If I don't understand something, I'll come back to bother the manager later. I'll take the girls down now."
Seeing An Ge nod, Hua Su led the still nervous group towards the studio.
They breathed a sigh of relief as they stepped out of the inn.
Shen Xin'er patted her chest. "Senior Sister Hua Su, you're really brave. I don't even dare to talk to the shop manager." Before she knew An Ge's identity, it was fine, but ever since she found out, Shen Xin'er no longer dared to be outspoken in front of An Ge.
Hua Su smiled. "The manager is very approachable; you'll see once you get to know her. She must have noticed your nervousness, which is why she specifically called me over to handle the performance arrangements, also because she was concerned that you weren't familiar with the place." Hua Su understood their feelings, as she had felt the same way at first.
After everyone realized An Ge's good intentions, they felt a warm glow in their hearts.
"The store manager is indeed beautiful inside and out!" Shen Xin'er looked like a little fangirl, her admiration for An Ge reaching its peak.
Looking at the grateful eyes and hopeful expressions on their faces, Hua Su couldn't help but sigh: wasn't she the same? The store manager was like a ray of light to them, saving them during the darkest time of their lives.
Meeting the store manager is the luckiest thing that has ever happened to them!
