Chapter Twenty-Four

Ange hadn't expected the Fairy Garden to be so popular after the inn's upgrade. She hadn't originally planned to open the treehouse, but seeing everyone's love for the garden, and even seeing many people inquiring about the treehouse, she changed her mind.

At night, the Fairy Garden is exceptionally quiet, with a gentle breeze and only the rustling of leaves.

Ange strolled leisurely through the garden, her eyes filled with curiosity.

This was her first time visiting the Fairy Garden. She hadn't thought much of it from the system model, but once she was actually there, she truly felt the ease of letting her mind go.

Hu Jiu followed quietly behind An Ge, but her gaze was involuntarily drawn to the person in front of her.

Hu Jiu frowned. He had been feeling increasingly uneasy lately, but he didn't know what was wrong with him.

"I've decided to give you a raise! Aren't you happy?"

Hu Jiu looked at the playful An Ge, his Adam's apple bobbed, and he awkwardly looked away.

"Yes, I'm happy, thank you, manager."

Hu Jiu's face flushed slightly; he was certain his face was unnaturally red. Fortunately, it was nighttime, and even with the lights on, visibility was poor.

Whether it was due to the magical functions of the Fairy Garden or Hu Jiu's satisfied attitude, An Ge was in an even more cheerful mood.

She talked at length to Hu Jiu about the future development of the inn, her words filled with anticipation for the future.

Hu Jiu stared blankly at An Ge's figure, feeling that the Elf Garden wasn't as magical as people said. Otherwise, why would his mind be even more chaotic?
