Chapter 40. After the afternoon nap...
After my afternoon nap.
Ji Qian woke up first, and by then she was completely clinging to the alpha.
He opened his eyes with a soft sob, nestled in the alpha's arms, inhaling her pheromones, and his somewhat dazed mind slowly calmed down.
It was a bit warm in the blankets, and my body felt weak and listless from sleeping.
He behaved himself for a moment and quickly pulled the blanket down a little.

Jiang Shi rubbed his back and picked him up from the blankets.
She leaned against the headboard, slowly waking up, her narrow eyes still showing weariness, her pale face expressionless and cold.
After drinking the water from the alpha's hand, the omega nestled in her arms, sat on her stomach, and gently squinted her eyes.
Jiang Shi raised her hand and pinched his chin, looking down at his handsome and sexy appearance. Thinking that he was pregnant, she stroked his chin with her fingertips.
You cannot move for the first three months and the last three months.
He loved the caresses; his body rose and fell with his breath, his soft body pressed against the alpha's, his waist trembling occasionally.
Alpha picked him up from the bed, changed his clothes, and then took him out of the house.
It is 4 PM now.
Omega slept for two hours.
As he walked down the corridor, the light became brighter and brighter, and he could even hear other people talking.
The noise started to fill my ears, and a lot of things squeezed into my eyes.

Jiang Shi withdrew his gaze, not thinking too much about it. At most, the snow was too heavy, so he would stay here for a few more days.
Upon arriving at the dessert area, Ji Qian only grabbed pudding and cake, along with a refreshing drink.
Ji Qian sat down next to the alpha, and before he had even taken a few bites, the alpha hugged him and buried his face in the back of his neck.
"How am I supposed to eat this?" he said, feeling wronged.
People nearby were looking over, and Ji Qian's face immediately turned red. She smacked her lips, licking the cream off her mouth.
People started arriving for afternoon tea around this time, and Ji Qian was considered to be late.
People would occasionally glance at the couple, some whispering amongst themselves.
Ji Qian turned her head away, seeing that the alpha didn't seem to intend to pay attention to her, so she lowered her head and ate her cake, her waist trembling a few times as the alpha hugged her.
Because they were so close, Ji Qian could smell her pheromones, and her hands were also restless, pinching and kneading her from time to time.
After eating about half a bag, Ji Qian put down her fork. "Aren't you going to eat? Don't you like this kind of food?"
He wondered if he should go back to his room later to reapply the suppressant patch.
"I don't like to eat it." Jiang Shi lowered her eyes and grasped his wrist. "You only care about eating yourself, and you don't care about what others think of you. I don't know if you're just shy or if you hate these things. When I was playing around with you in bed, were you still cursing me in your heart?"
Ji Qian paused for a moment, her mind racing, unsure whether she was going to use some excuse to torment him again, or if she wanted to say something else.
"I know that rich people like you have a lot of rules. Come to think of it, if you weren't pregnant, you probably wouldn't have even mentioned marriage."
"Why are you thinking about these things?" Ji Qian paused for a moment, her fingers curling up, and quickly declined, "These are just your wild thoughts, they have nothing to do with me. You have to be serious in public. You're an alpha, so you don't care, but they're all looking at me."
It's fine to be all lovey-dovey in bed at home, why bother hugging and cuddling in public?
“I didn’t insult you,” he added. “I didn’t have any thoughts about it.”
Jiang Shi stared at him. Ji Qian hesitated for a few moments, his eyelashes trembling slightly. He leaned closer and kissed the corner of her mouth.
“We’re getting married, so don’t think about those things. I don’t have those thoughts,” he whispered. “As for those things in bed, I just can’t stand them. They’re a bit stimulating for me. If you like them, I won’t say anything.”
"Didn't I transfer all those things to your name?"
As long as she doesn't have any bad habits, she basically doesn't need to worry about money.
And for her daily expenses, didn't he give her a card?
She's already married, why is she still thinking about these things?
He hadn't been on guard against her, nor had he blamed her for making things difficult for him.

She raised her hand to stroke his face, gently pulling him out a little, and looked down at his blushing face, her throat bobbing up and down.
"It's all your fault. Why couldn't you have kissed inside? Now everyone can see." His voice was soft and trembling.
"It's just a child, what's the big deal?" the alpha said nonchalantly, not feeling ashamed at all about being seen.
In such a large hall, there are more than just one or two people like them.
He pursed his lips slightly, not wanting to discuss it with her, knowing it would be pointless; if it were useful, she wouldn't have kissed him.
Jiang Shi brought over a drink and placed the straw near his lips. "Want some more?"
Ji Qian opened her mouth and took a few breaths, not daring to look around.
"Let's go outside and take a look later. Didn't you want to ski? You can take a sled ride instead."
Jiang Shi put the drink on the table and wiped his mouth. "There are so many people here, no one will remember you. Look at those two in the corner in front of you, they're kissing even more passionately than we were just now."

Ji Qian followed the alpha and left the hot spring hotel.

Ji Qian hugged the alpha's arm and looked around, her back unconsciously tense from the cold.
Ji Qian fed the deer, and then followed a group of people onto a sled.

It was very cold outside, and the sled ride was only for about ten minutes.
The sun sets, casting a crimson hue in the distance, along with a forest of cedar trees.
The sled made a soft, rustling sound as it glided across the snow, even passing over some sparse wooden huts.
Are you cold?
Ji Qian nodded. "It's cold."
Snow fell, even sticking to his hair, and his eyes were slightly red.
The heat packs stuck inside the clothes weren't enough to last that long, even though the clothes were wrapped up tightly.
Jiang Shi took out the thermos and let him drink a few sips, saying, "It's normal to be cold; there's no such thing as not being cold."
Ji Qian took the hot water, lowered her head and drank a few sips. The hot water went down her throat and she slowly felt a little better.
Hearing her words, he looked up at her.
"Of course you'd say something like that if you weren't cold. My back is aching," he said unhappily.
I was so cold that I unconsciously stiffened up there, and after a while, the tension even made my skin ache.
I'm already sensitive to cold, and no matter how many clothes I wear, the heat will slowly dissipate, making it difficult to warm up again.
Jiang Shi smiled and said, "Then we'll go back after we've finished sitting."
This is a big loop, going around to the end of another street.
Ji Qian thought that she would have to walk back later, which would take at least ten minutes.
He placed his hand in the alpha's palm; it was warm, and she was even sweating.

He relaxed and waited for a few minutes to pass before the deer stopped.
Upon reaching that street, the entire line stopped.
Ji Qian was helped off the sled and taken to a nearby wooden house to drink hot soup.
A fire was lit inside, and Ji Qian's body quickly became covered in the smell of burning wood.
He lowered his head and drank his hot soup, watching the alpha talk to someone else, and began to slowly look around the shop.
How long will this snow last?
"It looks like it'll rain for four or five days. If it gets heavier, we'll have to leave. It'll be harder to get supplies up here."
The speaker, wearing a hat and gloves, brought out the desserts. "But if you stay at a hotel, they will prepare a week's worth of food, and even the electricity will be pre-stored, unlike us who came here sporadically. We have to leave once we're a little older."
Ji Qian took a few sips of the hot soup, and when the dessert was brought to her, she scooped up a few spoonfuls, showing no desire to join the conversation.
The desserts here are a bit better than those in the hotel.
He ate a few bites, but didn't hear their conversation.
Alpha is good-looking, and in no time, several people surrounded him to take pictures.
Ji Qian reluctantly put down the dessert in her hand and was carried by the alpha to take pictures with others.
