Chapter 45. On this day...
That day.
Jiang Shi packed his things.
She didn't have much stuff; it was all packed in one box.
The omega on the bed sat there watching, his voice soft, "Are you going alone tomorrow? Can't I come along?"
“Why go back to the past? Just stay home and behave yourself. If you go back to the past, I probably won’t have time to spend with you.”
Ji Qian's waist and abdomen were not very obvious. Even though he was three months pregnant, according to the alpha's knowledge of the timeline, he should have started to show.
He was dressed in casual clothes, his hair was loose, his face was fair with a rosy glow, and his blue eyes looked at people with a gentle demeanor.
"Remember not to always stay at home, go out more." Alpha closed the box, washed his hands, and slowly approached the person sitting on the bed.
"Your belly isn't showing yet? That's strange."
Ji Qian felt a little guilty. It was only half a month later that her pregnancy became visible, and her belly gradually grew bigger. How could she have become visible in the first three months?
The bedroom was dark, with the lights off and the curtains drawn.

The alpha supported his waist, his voice turning slightly cold, "Are you hiding something from me? This child isn't mine?"
“No, the child is yours,” Ji Qian quickly said. “The child is yours.”
He hugged her neck tightly, his fingertips unconsciously gripping the alpha's hair. He looked up at the alpha's expression, somewhat hesitant.
Will she get angry if I tell her now?

Jiang Shi released him and got up to leave the bedroom.
The omega, placed on the bed, immediately burst into tears, even louder than before.
His heart clenched, he felt a pang of anxiety and a sour feeling, and tears streamed down his face. His lips parted, unable to close.
"Do you regret it? Do you regret marrying me? Do you want to leave with that omega? Do you want another omega?"
"If you're going to argue with me over something like this, when I clearly didn't do it, and you're arguing with me over something that has no basis, do you want a divorce?"
His voice was somewhat shrill, tinged with sobs.
Jiang Shi turned around and stared at the person on the bed, realizing that omegas still had their own thought processes.
What she said was clearly true.
He wasn't pregnant, but he told her he was, and that he wanted to marry her because of the pregnancy.
He just needed an excuse to marry an alpha, and she just happened to be the right one.
How come it's suddenly become that she wants to argue, wants a divorce, and is indecisive?
She always needed to confirm things, all she needed was a promise from him, at least a promise that he would stay with her faithfully, after all, that's what marriage is all about.

He threw the pillow beside him on the ground, convinced that it was true.
She was perfectly fine this morning, even hugging and kissing him, but now she's arguing with him, choosing the time when she's about to leave.
I deliberately chose this moment to start a fight with him.
Jiang Shi picked up the pillow and put it on the sofa. Staring at him, she turned around and left the bedroom.
The bedroom became quiet as the door closed.
The person on the bed wiped away their tears, pursed their lips tightly, looked at the suitcase in the bedroom, slowly climbed off the bed, and carefully walked to the suitcase.
Even when night fell, the person in the bedroom did not come out.
Jiang Shi opened the bedroom door and found it locked.
She paused, then knocked on the door. "Aren't you coming out for dinner?"
The people inside didn't respond to her.
Jiang Shi stared at the closed door, then turned around, took a spare key from the drawer, and opened the door.
The room was dark, with the lights off.

Jiang Shi picked up the clothes from the floor and put them on the sofa. He then walked to the bedside and gently pulled the blanket off the bed.
Are you pretending to be asleep?
Jiang Shi sat on the edge of the bed and held the person on the bed in his arms. "Aren't you hungry?"
Pregnant women often go hungry many times a day.
Omega opened his eyes, which were a little swollen, and remained silent with a cold expression.
Jiang Shi picked him up and carried him out of the bedroom.
The food on the table was still hot.
The soup that had been served was left to cool.
Jiang Shi sat there holding the person, first lowering his head to kiss him, and then gently rubbing his waist.
"I'm leaving tomorrow, are you sure you want to keep giving me the cold shoulder and not saying a word?" the alpha whispered in his ear. "Behave yourself, we'll talk in bed after dinner."
When the food was fed to the omega, he kept his lips tightly closed and pretended that his eyes were red again.
Jiang Shi put down his hand. "I didn't mean to argue with you, nor did I want to find another omega. The day you told me you were pregnant, I didn't believe you. Either it was another alpha, or you were lying to me. But I do like you, so I can just get a marriage certificate with you like this. I can pretend I don't know about these doubts."

"Pretend you never said anything. Now tell me about this." Jiang Shi lowered her eyes and stared at him, making him look up at her. "Why aren't you saying anything? Just tell me, are you using me, or do you like me?"

Jiang Shi looked down at him, saying nothing more, and didn't want to continue arguing. He couldn't just go out and lose his wife.
Who knew he wouldn't tell the truth, and if you pressed him, he'd start crying and act all wronged.
It's a good thing he's a teacher; he couldn't utter a single word.
She also learned to cut clothes, which made her go crazy and lose her temper.
Why doesn't he just throw away all the fragile things in the house?
"Let's stop arguing," she said. "Let's eat."
Ji Qian was put down and sat down next to him.
He lowered his head, his hair was disheveled, his eyes were red, his mouth was tightly closed, and tears started falling again.
