Chapter 6 There was a knock on the bedroom door…

There was a knock on the bedroom door, and the omega inside slowly opened it, half of his body hidden by the door, his beautiful eyes filled with doubt.

He thought of her behavior not long ago, and the tips of his ears turned red again. He was reluctant to leave the bedroom.

Thinking about how skilled she was at flirting with omegas, and hearing that she was familiar with all the omegas in the building, it's possible that she used these methods to keep those omegas infatuated with her.

"I've made some dishes, I don't know if they'll suit your taste, come and try them."

Although he woke up late, Ji Qian was indeed hungry, and he hadn't bought any snacks yet.

He didn't ask the housekeeper to come and cook today, since she was still there; he didn't know how to explain it.

Ji Qian raised her eyes, somewhat hesitant, and said, "Oh."

He slowly walked out, then turned sideways and closed the door. Jiang Shi could only see a little bit of the furnishings inside.

It was dark and empty.

He does indeed appear to be a very bland, dull, and unromantic omega.

Sitting at the dining table, Ji Qian looked at the six dishes and assumed that the alpha had a big appetite, so she just silently lowered her head and ate her rice.

He thought to himself, raising an alpha is indeed very expensive.

Fortunately, she hasn't developed a gambling habit in the last few years.

Ji Qian has a very small appetite. After barely finishing that bowl of rice, she drank a bowl of soup and refused to eat anymore.

"Are you full?"

He nodded. "I have a small appetite; I usually only eat half a bowl of rice."

Ji Qian thought to herself that she would change her clothes and go buy snacks in another hour.

He propped himself up on his hands, unsure of what to say.

If I take her to see my father, wouldn't what he said before be false?

Meeting is fine, but we can't speak; the father will definitely ask about the alpha's family situation.

Isn't that enough?

Ji Qian watched as the alpha devoured everything, glanced at the alpha's shoulder, and silently got up, pondering which excuse to use.

As long as we can fool the government, we don't need to worry about my father.

They say they'll arrange a marriage, but he's not even there, so how can they arrange a marriage?

The only legally binding document is the government's matching agreement.

Seeing that she had started tidying up, Ji Qian simply got up and sat on the sofa in a daze.

He looked at the person in the kitchen with their back to him and sniffed the pheromones in the air.

The bitterness of coffee smells wonderful.

Ji Qian raised her hand and touched the back of her neck; it was a little hot there.

But both of them had patches on to suppress their urges, so why was he like this?

Ji Qian pondered whether she should use her pheromones for a match and send the test results over.

Ji Qian leaned back on the sofa, somewhat dazed, unsure of what to do.

afternoon.

Jiang Shi went downstairs to throw out the trash and ran into a familiar resident.

"Jiang Shi, why are you helping others take out the trash? Why aren't you wearing your uniform today?"

The person speaking is an omega.

He walked over, sniffed her, and said, "I went to the security office to look for you, but I couldn't find you. They said you went home because of something? What are you doing here?"

They even help others dispose of their trash.

He sized up the alpha in front of him, finding no trace of someone else having acted first, and looked at the alpha with some resentment.

She had no money left, so why didn't she just accept it honestly? Instead, she insisted on being all alone, saying there were things going on at home.

She was all alone.

"It's just throwing out the trash." Alpha ignored his words.

Now that she's on leave, it's impossible for her to have a good attitude towards the homeowners while on vacation.

She continued walking forward, leaving the lobby of the residential complex.

The omega, unwilling to give up, continued to follow, "Come with me, okay? I can give you money, a house, a car, everything."

Jiang Shi thought to himself that his words were not as honest and straightforward as Ji Qian's.

At least Ji Qian gave her five million directly, and she didn't care about the house and car afterwards.

She was truly fed up with this unlucky life where she couldn't save any money.

At first, I had some savings, but then people started faking accidents to extort money, or burglars broke into my house, and all sorts of strange and bizarre methods came out.

"Don't you have an alpha? Stop joking like that, okay?" Jiang Shi threw the trash into the trash can. "You can find someone better than me if you spend money. Don't always follow me around. What if your alpha finds out? If your alpha wants to hit me, will you stand on the side saying 'Don't hit me, don't hit me'? In the end, I'll be the one who suffers, and then you two will make up again."

Jiang Shi glanced at the unhappy omega standing beside him and said, "If there's nothing else, I'll be leaving now."

"Wait." He followed her, even going so far as to reach out and try to hug her arm. "Then... then I'll get a divorce, and you'll marry me, okay? I haven't been permanently marked yet. Everything I own can be yours."

“I don’t like that alpha. He’s never home. Our families are in an arranged marriage, and we’ve been married for two or three years anyway. I’m going to apply for a divorce now, and the government will approve it. Then you can marry me, okay? I don’t care that you’re poor; I have money.”

Jiang Shi was afraid that others would see them pulling and tugging at each other. If the person upstairs happened to come down, he would be in deep trouble.

"Don't mess around, I have no feelings for you." Jiang Shi pulled his hand away and quickened her pace, walking away quickly.

It's a sunny day today, and the sun is very strong.

It gets unbearably hot just walking a few hundred meters outside.

Ji Qian, who came out of the elevator, saw the two of them pulling and tugging at each other, and heard about divorce and marriage. She stood there without moving.

Ji Qian waited for a while, and only came out slowly after they had gone far away.

Ji Qian glanced in the direction the alpha had just left, and thinking about what she had just heard, she raised her hand to smooth her hair.

What divorce? What permanent mark?

It's the same kind of marriage alliance.

Ji Qian felt that if she were to marry into the alliance, she would definitely not be much better than that omega.

If you get permanently marked, your life is ruined. Removing the mark is like destroying half of your glands, and you'll also have to deal with the pain that may come with it at any time.

Jiang Shi, why does Jiang Shi always attract so many omegas? Where is she going now?

Ji Qian walked to a large supermarket near her residential area, not intending to buy too much, nor did she drive out.

The air conditioning in the supermarket was turned up very high.

He pulled his coat tighter and lowered his eyes to look at the expiration date on the item he had picked up.

The omega standing there covered himself completely, revealing only his face and hands, his loose hair exceptionally black and smooth.

"Hello, could I have your contact information?"

Ji Qian stood there stunned for a moment, then looked up at the person's face after seeing the phone they handed her and the watch on their wrist.

"I have an alpha." His voice was somewhat cold.

After saying that, Ji Qian walked a little further away with the snacks, bypassing the snack shelf.

He then realized he had taken too many snacks, so he took out his phone and asked Jiang Shi to come and get him.

Ji Qian no longer feels embarrassed or bothered by others.

She's already taken her own money, yet she's still getting involved with the omega. Even though she cooks for herself, the cost of his housekeeper isn't as high as hers.

I didn't actually make her my mistress.

Ji Qian saw the reply on her phone, but just stood there, feeling inexplicably tired, her emerald eyes blank.

He put the snacks on the cart, intending to push it over to pay.

Alpha didn't arrive very quickly.

Ji Qian stood at the door waiting, and when she saw that no messages had come through on her phone, she didn't leave.

He saw the omega in the same building as him, someone he had met before in the lobby on the first floor.

Ji Qian moved here a month ago. After applying for a teaching job here, she decided to stay.

Because it had only been a month, the house was only furnished with the necessary furniture and appliances. Ji Qian didn't have time to do any decorating, nor did she want to spend time choosing anything.

“You have a lot of things. I brought a servant to help you carry them.” The omega saw Ji Qian, took the initiative to walk over and look her up and down, and said in a friendly manner.

"No need," Ji Qian shook her head.

“It must be hard for you to carry it back by yourself. There’s no reason not to, and it will make things easier for you to get back.”

As Ji Qian was saying something, she saw Jiang Shi walking over.

Alpha approached and picked up the bag he had placed on the ground. "Are you leaving?"

"Jiang Shi?" the omega asked, somewhat puzzled. "You even help others with these things?"

Jiang Shi remembered; he was a resident on the twelfth floor.

At this point, how could I possibly say that I was just there to help?

Jiang Shi stated frankly, "I'm following him now."

Upon hearing that Jiang Shi was being kept by someone, his expression turned sour.

Jiang Shi looked down at Ji Qian again and asked, "Shall we go?"

"Um."

"Then we'll be going now," Jiang Shi said immediately.

Jiang Shi reached out and put his arm around the omega's waist, his palm pressed against the clothes, and carried the bag with one hand as they walked out.

Ji Qian was a little dazed. She could clearly feel the warmth of his hand on her waist. His hand was so big that it easily grasped most of his, and she could even smell a faint pheromone on him.

"You don't need to do that next time," Ji Qian said.

There's no need to put your arm around his waist when you leave.

That's strange.

Ji Qian was being pushed and led around like this, and she even had trouble keeping up with her pace.

Her hand was also moving slightly around his waist with each step, causing a slight itch.

Seeing that she didn't seem to say anything, Ji Qian reached out and pulled her arm down, looking up at her, "Where did you just go?"

“I’m planning to go to the government.”

His voice was a little soft as he couldn't help but wonder if she was going to check if he was married. "What are you going there for?"

“If you don’t plan to keep me as your sugar daddy anymore, I might even be able to go to military school for a while.”

"Don't use the word 'sugar baby,' it's strange." Ji Qian was afraid that others would hear, or that someone she knew might hear it.

She always talks about being kept and having obligations; it's fine to talk about that at home, but don't say it outside.

"Isn't this how it is?" Jiang Shi asked, somewhat puzzled. He withdrew his hand and handed him a small parasol from his pocket. "The sun is a bit strong, use it to shield yourself."

Ji Qian took it and slowly opened it, trying to cover the alpha, but found that she was indeed a bit taller, a head taller than him.

"Is there anything else you want to do?" Jiang Shi asked him.

"That's all." Ji Qian held up the umbrella and followed beside her with difficulty.

It was very hot, and even though the sun wasn't glaringly bright, it still made people feel restless and uneasy.

This kind of interaction is a bit strange. Jiang Shi wondered what kind of sugar daddy and lover relationship this was?

Where are the big spenders now, avoiding and fearing people? It's like the tables have turned.

Jiang Shi glanced at him, wondering if he was being too reserved.
