Nine o'clock in the evening.
Jiang Shi's phone showed several missed calls.
She drank just the right amount of alcohol, but the smell of alcohol lingered on her for a long time.
Seeing that it was indeed late, Jiang Shi got up, made up an excuse to leave the private room, and walked straight out the main entrance.
She somehow acquired omega pheromones from somewhere, so she just stood outside in the breeze until they dissipated a bit before taking a taxi and leaving.

He opened the door and stood there staring blankly at her. "You...you've been drinking?"

She hugged him as she walked over, and Ji Qian didn't know whether he was angry or what he was saying to question her.
The corridor was quiet, and the air was filled with the scent of alcohol emanating from her, not unpleasant, but mixed with her pheromones.
Ji Qian was afraid that the people below would notice, so she suppressed her temper and helped her into the room. When she was pressed onto the bed, her whole body was stiff.
The alpha didn't do anything, just kissed and bit his neck, then got up and collapsed next to him as if he were drunk.
Ji Qian was stunned, unsure whether he was first annoyed that she smelled of alcohol and hadn't taken a shower or changed her clothes, or angry that she had come back from fooling around outside without explaining anything and just went to bed like that.
"Jiang Shi..." He leaned over and gently nudged her shoulder, his voice soft, "Are you drunk?"
Realizing she was ignoring him, Ji Qian sat next to the alpha in a daze for a few minutes before slowly getting out of bed to wet a towel and wipe her face by the bedside.
He didn't have the strength to help her bathe, so he could only unbutton her clothes, sit beside her, and laboriously take off her clothes.
"Jiang Shi..." he called her softly.
At least try to sleep properly, don't sleep like this.
He didn't have the strength to help her.
Where did she go drinking? How did she get so drunk?
Ji Qian poured another glass of warm water, but the person was still not awake. Ji Qian placed it beside her and became completely bewildered.
He felt wronged, but it was no use. No one saw it, and the only person who could see him was lying there drunk and wouldn't comfort him.

Ji Qian got out of bed, took off her shoes, and then had her feet lifted up and placed on the bed.

"What's wrong? Is the child crying?" Ji Qian opened the door, stood there, and asked somewhat helplessly.
"No, I just came up to take a look. I smelled alcohol when I came out."
Ji Qian paused, glanced into the room, and shook her head. "Go and rest. If the baby keeps crying and I can't soothe him, I'll come over."
Those at the door couldn't see what was happening inside, and upon seeing this, they simply left.
Ji Qian closed the door, and just as she sat down next to him, the alpha pulled her over and pinned her to the bed.
Realizing that she was acting out of her drunken state, Ji Qian turned her face away, her hands too weak to resist, and could only let her kiss and bite her.
His disheveled hair clung to his face, and his pajamas were loose, revealing large areas of skin.
"Jiang Shi." He called out softly, as if he had never met or dealt with him before, his voice sounding somewhat helpless and uneasy.
He was pinned down, and he felt half of his body go numb. A little milk was slowly squeezed out from under his swollen collarbone, and his clothes on his chest were soaked.
The child doesn't eat much in a day, and he can only feed him two or three times a day. Most of the time, he can only endure the abundance of food.
Her frail body couldn't withstand her pressing down and kissing her like that, and she was covered in the smell of alcohol and pheromones from her body. Ji Qian sobbed, her eyes red, wanting to say something, but her lips blocked her mouth.
His clothes were lifted up, and the alpha moved down his neck, as if looking for something to sober him up, burying his face under his collarbone.
The skin there was so delicate and thin, and incredibly white and tender.
Ji Qian realized what she was about to do, and fearing that she might not be careful, she hurriedly reached out to push her away, but her wrist was grabbed and she was pressed down to the side.
She seemed thirsty, and Ji Qian couldn't bear to see her like this; her clear, watery eyes trembled incessantly.
A dozen minutes later, he was pulled into the alpha's arms, his hands were held, and compared to the alpha, his body was soft, slender and plump.
After the sudden stop, Ji Qian paused for a moment, then carefully moved her body to lie in her arms, looking up at her. "Are you awake?"
Was he drunk or not?
Seeing that she didn't speak, Ji Qian straightened her clothes to cover the area under her collarbone that had just been swollen and red, and slowly rested her head on her shoulder, saying with some annoyance, "You're drunk and you think you can run away from tonight's events? If you're so capable, come back like this every day from now on."
He didn't get home until almost 10 o'clock, still smelling of alcohol, and is now acting crazy while drunk.
Jiang Shi stared intently at his pitiful, blushing face, his eyes brimming with tears, and his lips full and red.
"Am I drunk? I'm going to take a shower." The alpha finally spoke, his tone casual. He lowered his head and buried it in Ji Qian's neck, inhaling deeply the pheromones on the back of his neck. His hot, moist breath sprayed there, and Ji Qian subconsciously shivered.
After haphazardly holding and smelling her for a few minutes, Ji Qian was released and placed on the bed, her appearance becoming docile.
Alpha left and went into the bathroom, followed by the sound of water running inside.
Ji Qian lay there, her fingers grasping at something haphazardly, breathing softly.
The night passed without Ji Qian being able to say a single word to her; she quickly fell asleep in the alpha's arms.

One week later.
Jiang Shi is going on a business trip for a few days.
As the weather gradually turned cooler, Jiang Shi put a few long-sleeved shirts in his suitcase.
The omega following behind him clung to him, asking, "Are you traveling alone? Is the person you're traveling with an omega or a beta?"
"Beta, what are you worrying about?"
Ji Qian was taken aback. "Why have you been so busy this past week? And now you're going on a business trip again."
Ji Qian had never worked for a company like that before. His job was basically as a teacher, teaching the same few classes every day, and coming home after class, occasionally attending meetings.
"How many days are you going on your business trip?"
"Four days."
Ji Qian gently pulled her shawl around her neck. "Four days?" Is that long?
Seeing that the alpha was still packing his luggage, he turned and left the bedroom.
In the living room.
Ji Qian held the baby who had just finished feeding and gently patted his back to prevent him from spitting up.
The people inside came out, but Ji Qian ignored her and held the child with her back to them.
The second floor is very spacious, with the living room right outside the master bedroom, which connects to the balcony, so there is plenty of space for the children to play as they grow up.
They had only been living there a short time, and the living room was empty except for the essentials.
Ji Qian started picking out gifts, but there weren't many piled up on the table.

Jiang Shi placed the child in his arms into the cradle, then sat on the sofa, staring at him as usual.

Ji Qian leaned quietly on her shoulder, her hands slowly climbing up her shoulders and hugging her neck.
Jiang Shi hugged his waist, rubbing his lower back with his palms, and spoke first, "Aren't you angry anymore?"
"You did this on purpose, you deliberately tried to upset me," Ji Qian said in a low voice. "Go if you want, I can't control you anymore anyway."
"Is that so? You can't be angry when I come back."
Ji Qian paused for a moment, her fingers gripping the ends of her hair, without saying a word.
He really shouldn't have been keeping an eye on her all the time; if she really had those feelings for him, he couldn't control her.
At least we shouldn't have that kind of thing happen in the next few years.
The child has been born, so at least we shouldn't let the child grow up in this environment.
"Um."
Alpha's business trip starts at 1 PM, and he has to leave by noon.
After lunch, Jiang Shi took his luggage and went downstairs.
Omega's body gradually recovered, and she no longer needed to be carried upstairs to rest.

Jiang Shi straightened up, picked up his luggage, and left.
The living room was separated from the outside by glass. Ji Qian looked up and saw the person get into the car. She stood up and walked to the side, where she saw a man sitting in the passenger seat. She waved to the alpha.
He frowned slightly, not wanting to stay at home.
He doesn't want to stay at home; isn't he just like his sister? He'll end up like his brother-in-law sooner or later.
On the bus.
Jiang Shi leaned against the window and looked out. The person sitting in front of him turned around and said, "The team leader lives here every day. Doesn't that mean he has to take a one-hour bus ride every day? Was the person standing at the door just now the team leader's omega? I heard that the team leader had a baby a month ago."
The speaker was a beta who had been with the company for three years and was originally a candidate to run for team leader, but the arrival of an alpha directly took that position.
"How did you know?" Jiang Shi asked.
"Everyone in the group knows that the team leader doesn't participate in team building activities; the director said so."
As he spoke, he turned to look at her, his appearance meticulously groomed. "Why isn't the team leader at home with his wife? What are you doing on this business trip with me? An omega has given birth; she should be at home spending more time with her."
If I stay any longer, we'll probably start arguing. It's better to go out and hide.
He can go back after his postpartum period.
Although Jiang Shi knew this was not good, it looked like they were about to start an argument in the living room.
He stared at her all day long, forbidding her from talking to anyone, and would ignore everyone when he got angry.
He was more aware of any developments within the company than she was.
She can't move or argue, so it's better for her to stay for four days. It's also time for her to move to a different spot.
