The door was pushed open, and Jiang Shi looked at him as he hurriedly hung up his phone, somewhat puzzled.
“Colleague,” he said.

Xiao Lin listened and took the child and placed him in his arms.
Ji Qian held the child, gently parted his clothes, lowered her head to kiss the child's forehead, rubbed the child's face, and slowly hugged the soft child in her arms tighter.
He thought of what the alpha had said a few days ago, the three conditions they had agreed upon, and frowned slightly, becoming increasingly unhappy.
As the child in her arms suddenly started crying and waving his little hands erratically, Ji Qian thought he was hungry and hurriedly pulled open her clothes to feed him.

"In the bathroom."

He hadn't been held for even a minute when the alpha let go of him and went to the bathroom.

He went into the bedroom, sat on the bed to ease his stiff body, and slowly lay down.

After finishing her meal and rinsing her mouth, Ji Qian was supported by her arms and shoulders and walked for more than ten minutes before being carried into the bedroom to change into clean clothes.
