One of the actors from Lan Xi's group came out and saw Yun Lina staring blankly into the distance. Following Yun Lina's gaze but finding nothing amiss, she turned to Yun Lina and said, "Nana, what are you looking at? Rehearsal isn't over yet. Let's go back quickly. Director Lan is looking for you; it's your turn to film your scene."
Yun Lina nodded lightly, glanced meaningfully in the direction Yun Xinyan left, and then followed her back to the training room.
A Volkswagen sent by a mainstream platform dropped Yun Xinyan off at the entrance of the TV station. An elegant and composed woman in a white uniform walked out and, upon seeing Yun Xinyan's delicate features, her eyes lit up: "Yun Xinyan! It's you! President Guan said he has an employee who can help me revise the script. I was wondering who had such a talent, but I never expected it to be you."
"Xu Zhen, are you unhappy to see me?" Yun Xinyan raised her eyebrows slightly, her delicate eyes revealing a lazy and charming look.
Xu Zhen smiled and nudged Yun Xinyan, saying, "When you came here for your internship, I always wanted you to stay, but you refused. I was heartbroken for a long time."
"Let's go inside and talk." Xu Zhen smiled and led Yun Xinyan inside. When they arrived at the office, Xu Zhen heated the teapot, then turned around and personally ground coffee beans and brewed a cup of black coffee for Yun Xinyan. He poured himself a cup of tea before sitting down in front of Yun Xinyan.
"This script was intended for a Lunar New Year release, but it's going to be broadcast on a children's channel, so it needs to be childlike, fun, and positive. However, they didn't handle it well, and I feel like the finished product is an insult to people's intelligence. But I'm not sure how much to modify it."
As she spoke, Xu Zhen stood up and handed the script synopsis to Yun Xinyan. She said calmly, "This is a musical about a child who carries the dreams of his parents. His parents were admitted to a prestigious university because of poverty, but they couldn't afford it and wasted their time studying. Later, they placed their dreams on their child. However, the child discovered at a New Year's celebration that what he truly loved was street dance and he wanted to pursue a career in the performing arts. Later, the protagonist entered the entertainment industry and even defeated European and American street dance champions. Only then did his parents gradually let go of their resentment and support their child."
Yun Xinyan frowned slightly, seemingly dissatisfied with the plot.
"You can also come with me to take a look at the casting for this project; we're holding an open audition." Seeing Yun Xinyan's expression, Xu Zhen pointed out that the script didn't satisfy her.
"Let's go take a look." Yun Xinyan said calmly, then got up to leave again.
Xu Zhen and Yun Xinyan walked together on their way to the casting hall. Xu Zhen was still somewhat emotional when he thought about what happened back then: "If you had been willing to stay back then, with your abilities, your career would probably be far superior to mine now."
Yun Xinyan simply smiled faintly and did not answer.
After Fu Qingxiao finished his work, he arrived. He saw Yun Xinyan's back from behind and followed her over, just in time to hear Xu Zhen's words.
His heart skipped a beat, and his eyes filled with surprise.
Fu Qingxiao didn't say much, but stood quietly behind Yun Xinyan, a beautiful smile appearing on her lips.
