The seawater transport team took Lu Mingming to the nearest safe location, and the iron cage containing the three large men landed smoothly in the distance.
Lu Mingming quickly turned on his personal terminal, keeping a vigilant look around while contacting the bald man.
"Hurry up and get a few honest and strong men to help me carry your boss; they're all unconscious."
"Alright, alright, you wait for me. I haven't heard from you for almost half a month, I've been so worried. I'll bring people over right away."
The bald man hung up the personal terminal in a flurry, leaving Lu Mingming staring blankly at the screen.
More than half a month has passed.
Compared to the flow rate in the parallel world, it is exactly 1 to 3 speed.
So, the parallel world mirror that Hongyu showed her was actually from 3 months ago.
Before she could think for long, the bald man quickly brought his men over. The slaves efficiently wrapped the people in the cages in a layer of warm towels and carried them back to the courtyard. The passing merchants all assumed they were high-ranking slaves kidnapped from somewhere and did not interfere much with the wealthy man's activities.
That night, the three men woke up one after another.
Lu Mingming was just getting ready to go to sleep when she learned the news.
Upon receiving the message from the bald man, she casually threw on a coat and rushed to the quiet living room. The three people in the living room each occupied a corner, and all of them looked somewhat unwell.
Orannal was in the best condition, sitting in his seat with a pot of hot tea, warming his hands and stomach.
"Did we escape from the Mermaid's Secret Realm?"
After a moment's pause, 6 asked.
"No way, boss! You guys really found the Mermaid's Secret Realm? Tell me about it!"
The bald man jumped up and down excitedly, muttering, "This is the first time I've ever seen four people come out of the Mermaid Realm. Wait, where's the little boss?"
"That guy."
Mentioning this person, Liu Yan's eyes darkened.
The bald man realized something was wrong and turned to look in Lu Mingming's direction.
Lu Mingming briefly recounted the whole story, omitting the part about their journey to the parallel world, which successfully provoked the bald man's angry words: "How dare this little stinky fish do this! I'll raid his lair when I get back! Luckily, he was saved by the mermaid leader in the end."
The bald man reacted quickly: "If that's the case, then you've seen the leader of the mermaids?!"
Lu Mingming paused for a moment, then replied, "That's right, I have seen him. And not only me, your boss has seen him too."
Liu Yan looked at him blankly. He only vaguely remembered having a long and chaotic dream after falling asleep. Reality and dream were mixed together, leaving his mind blank. He occasionally had the crazy thought of subconsciously calling "Your Highness" when he saw Orannal.
Orannal put down his teacup: "It's Nightwin. He's the merfolk leader, and also that brat."
How did you know?
Lu Mingming was surprised.
Compared to the other two, he was clearly more perceptive.
Oranar explained in detail: "I didn't completely lose consciousness; I've been observing everything from inside 'Oranar's' body. But that guy was too stingy and wouldn't let me meet you. Now look what's happened; he'll never see you again and he's going to fight me."
Upon hearing Oranar's words, Morian and Liu Yan reacted one after the other: "So it wasn't a dream after all, and all the information we received was useful intelligence?"
“That’s right. We can use those memories to reduce the time cost and avoid detours.”
“You could consider collaborating with a few other people.”
6. The Way of Derivation.
“Nightwin has already given us the greatest help, so we should go find Yi Fu. Perhaps he has another hidden identity, otherwise he wouldn’t be there working for me.”
Orannell made a suggestion.
"Wait, what are you talking about?"
The bald man became increasingly confused as he listened.
"What 'another Oranar' and 'obtained useful information'... they're all just talking nonsense, why can't I understand them?"
They exchanged glances and decided not to tell anyone more about the mermaid territory, making a hasty decision.
"Let's speed up our return to the home planet..."
"No, there's no need to return to the main planet."
Morian interrupted Orannal.
"We can use Earth as our base and gradually build up our infrastructure. I doubt that a certain old-fashioned count would ever imagine that the most popular tourist planet today would be your base."
The situation in this world is much less turbulent than in parallel worlds, perhaps because of Lu Mingming's help. Most of the connections are seamlessly integrated, with almost no detours.
After discussing the matter, the three injured players decided to stay for almost a week to rest and plan for other necessities.
Lu Mingming returned to her room to pack her luggage for her departure.
She came in search of the Red Jade, but unexpectedly, instead of bringing back the child, she made some unexpected gains in other areas.
"Knock knock knock!"
Someone knocked softly on the door.
Lu Mingming shouted, "I'm coming right away!"
She dropped her clothes and ran to the door.
As soon as the door opened, Orannell's face came into view, carrying a bulging plastic bag.
"Is there something you need?"
Looking at Orannar's face, Lu Mingming was reminded of Orannar from another world. She couldn't help but lower her head, cover her lips, and let out a soft chuckle.
"Hmm...? Do I look funny?"
Orannal touched his hair, looking annoyed.
"I should have dressed up a bit more carefully before coming."
"no."
Lu Mingming shook his head and chuckled: "Since you have memories of another world, you should know about me and the other Orannar, right?"
