Chapter 11 My lord, I wish to take a bath.

Xuanfengqian had just lain down when Jingzhe silently stood at the cell door.

"Princess Xiantian, are you...are you still alive?"

Jingzhe saw Xuanfengqian lying lifelessly among a group of rough men, his eyelids twitching wildly, and his voice distorted with extreme fear.

Leng Ye had said that he would slowly torture Xuan Fengqian, and he absolutely could not let her die so easily.

Therefore, if Xuanfeng Qian were to suffer any mishap, Jingzhe would inevitably be severely punished for failing to guard him properly.

Clang—

Jingzhe hurriedly tore off the heavy iron lock and rushed over to Xuanfengqian's side.

He stretched out his trembling hand and waved it in front of her unfocused eyes. "Princess Xiantian, are you alright?"

Why is Lord Jingzhe so agitated?

"Could it be that you've taken a fancy to this little vixen?"

The demons looked at the distraught Jingzhe with bewildered expressions, exchanging bewildered glances.

"Who gave you permission to kill her?"

Jingzhe tried again and again, but still couldn't detect Xuanfengqian's breath. So she became increasingly irritable and vented her anger on the demons around her.

The short-headed monk touched his nose and hurriedly said with a smile, "She's just a pretty but useless woman, why is Lord Jingzhe so concerned about her?"

"Exactly. This little hussy does look stunningly beautiful, but when you actually use her, it's absolutely awful."

"It was more than just terrible. There was a moment when I felt like I was molesting a man."

"If I hadn't been deprived of women for so long and was desperately horny, I wouldn't have touched her."

...

The criminals gathered noisily around Jingzhe, chattering incessantly about their firsthand impressions of the "fierce battle" they had just fought.

Jingzhe's face turned ashen with rage. He gripped the short monk's neck tightly with one hand and roared furiously, "Fools! The Demon Lord repeatedly requested that one of them be spared alive. Yet, for your own momentary pleasure, you killed him. Now look what's happened! If the Demon Lord holds you accountable, none of you will escape!"

"Oh, this..."

Upon hearing this, the demons were terrified. "Lord Jingzhe, we truly didn't mean it. Please, have mercy on us and put in a good word for us with the Demon Lord, okay?"

"Shut up, all of you get back here!"

"Yes, yes, yes, I will obey."

Realizing the seriousness of the situation, the criminals no longer dared to casually gather around Jingzhe and make a fuss.

They hastily pulled up their pants and rushed out, jostling each other.

Just before leaving the prison, the short-headed monk subconsciously glanced back at the demons who had collapsed and died beside Xuan Fengqian.

"How can this kid be so useless? He was drained dry by a woman in no time?"

He scratched his head and muttered something with a hint of disdain.

Unwittingly catching Jingzhe's almost murderous gaze, the short-headed monk shivered involuntarily and slunk away in a panic.

"Princess Xiantian, you must hold on."

Once the surroundings quieted down, Jingzhe gently helped the lifeless Xuanfengqian to her feet, intending to channel her true energy to prolong her life.

"Cough cough—"

As Xuanfeng saw the demons disperse, a glimmer of life slowly reappeared in his unfocused pupils.

"Lord Jingzhe, I wish to take a bath."

Her voice was barely audible, and although there wasn't a trace of moisture in her eyes, she appeared even more pitiful.

"Princess Xiantian, are you truly unharmed?" Jingzhe's eyes lit up with joy.

"Living like this is really meaningless."

"Princess, do not give up on yourself. As long as there is a glimmer of hope, things can still turn around."

Jingzhe was afraid that Xuanfengqian might be so upset that she would try to commit suicide, so she could only comfort her gently.
