Chapter 172 Absolute Creation (8)

The door slammed shut with a thud, and the entire room suddenly became dark.

Behind Mosquito Girl, Player Number One clutched his neck, which was rapidly swelling into a dark purple color, and staggered to the ground, his eyes wide open, his eyeballs bulging outwards, almost about to pop out.

He unconsciously opened his mouth slightly, emitting rough, hoarse groans. His whole body curled up uncontrollably, his limbs twisted into a rather contorted position, trembling violently.

He quickly lost consciousness completely.

His clothes slowly billowed up on his back, followed by the sound of fabric tearing. A pair of huge, narrow, transparent wings suddenly unfolded and began to flap rapidly, carrying him slowly upwards.

The buzzing of mosquitoes echoed through the room.

The second woman watched as he flew rapidly toward her, his newly grown, slender mouthparts almost clearly visible in the candlelight.

She trembled as she retreated towards the base of the wall, looking almost frightened: "Ah...ah...help...help me..."

But now it's clear that no one can save her.

Xiao Cheng's entire body was on edge, and he stared intently at the mosquito woman in front of him without daring to be careless in the slightest.

Mosquito Girl maintained her unchanging smiling expression, tilted her head innocently and naively, and suddenly increased her speed. Several afterimages flashed by, and she instantly appeared behind Xiao Cheng.

It was impossible to even see her movements clearly.

Feeling the slender fingers gently stroking her neck, Xiao Cheng involuntarily shivered, feeling as if she were being tightly coiled by a venomous snake, her whole body enveloped in a cold, sticky, and dangerous sensation.

The mosquito woman gently exhaled near her earlobe, her long proboscis reappearing, brushing against her skin with a barely perceptible touch.

"I can't bear to hurt you. You said I'm good-looking, right?" Mosquito Girl loosely let go of Xiao Cheng's hand, and in the blink of an eye, she was right in front of him again.

She unfurled her enormous, clear wings and flew to a height only slightly higher than Xiao Cheng.

"But I still prefer to see you looking completely pale."

Long strands of hair suddenly shot out, intertwining rapidly in the air like a gradually closing cocoon, enveloping Xiao Cheng completely.

A hint of intoxication appeared on Mosquito Girl's face.

"It smells so good." She let out a satisfied sigh. "Your blood smells so good."

"Does it smell good?" Xiao Cheng said expressionlessly. "Then take advantage of this moment to smell it more, otherwise you might not have this chance in your next life."

As soon as he finished speaking, the candlelight went out quietly, and the entire room was plunged into darkness.

Xiao Cheng grabbed the candlestick from the wall, grabbed the mosquito girl's hair with one hand, twisted her wrist several times, and then pulled her forcefully in his direction.

She grabbed the mosquito woman's head and slammed her to the ground with a thud.

A strange, pungent smell of blood gradually spread, giving Xiao Cheng a headache. She held her breath and, using the faint light from the motion-activated light filtering through the crack in the door, raised the candlestick in her other hand high.

There was a muffled thud.

The Mosquito Woman let out a piercing, agonizing scream as a sharp metal spike shattered her right eye, piercing through the back of her head and embedding itself in the ground.

Blood gushed out instantly, splattering all over Xiao Cheng's body and face. She pressed down on the struggling Mosquito Girl expressionlessly, without loosening her grip, until Mosquito Girl completely lost consciousness in her final convulsions.

As Mosquito Girl died, Number One on the other side also suddenly went silent. The narrow wings on its back instantly disappeared, and it fell heavily to the ground, its fate unknown.

The second woman was huddled in a corner, looking disheveled, with unfocused pupils and a blank stare at the first woman on the ground; her condition was clearly abnormal.

"Ha...haha..." She gave a dry laugh, staggered to her feet, and pointed at Xiao Cheng and the mosquito woman on the ground, "I'm alive...you can kill me then? Haha, I'm alive...I'm alive..."

Xiao Cheng ignored Number Two, fearing that the Mosquito Girl might not be completely dead due to her thick blood, so she struck her forehead and chest twice more heavily just in case. Only after confirming that she was completely still did she breathe a sigh of relief, loosen the hair that was tied around her arm, and stand up while holding the candlestick.

She fumbled to pick up the fallen candle, casually stuck it into the candlestick, put it back in its original place, and then turned to open the door.

The bright lights from outside shone in, giving one the illusion of returning to the human world.

Xiao Cheng took a slight breath and raised her hand to wipe the bloodstains splattered on her face. She heard the second woman's mournful sobs behind her and was about to turn around to say something.

Suddenly, a chill ran down my back, followed by a sharp, intense pain that quickly spread.

She turned her head in disbelief and saw that Number Two was holding the candlestick tightly in his trembling hand, the tip pointing forward, with drops of blood slowly dripping down, mixing with the remaining wax on the candlestick.

It was so red it was almost blinding.

Number Two seemed to be bewitched, with a mottled pale pink light shining from his eyes, and a strange smile on his face that was exactly the same as Mosquito Girl's before.

"It smells so good... I... hehe... I... am I beautiful? hehe..." she said in a muffled voice, her teeth clattering together, making an extremely uncomfortable grinding sound.

Xiao Cheng reached up and wiped the wound on his back, looking at the bloodstains on his fingers with a gloomy face.

Number Two didn't actually stab very deep, after all, she wasn't that strong. The few times she had hit Mosquito Girl earlier had worn down the tip of the candlestick, so it didn't have that much killing power.

It hurts a bit, but it's not going to kill me.

But that's not the key point.

The key issue is that she just poked the Mosquito Woman with this candlestick, so won't she get infected with some strange virus?!

Xiao Cheng grew angrier the more she thought about it. Seeing that Number Two was still determined to hit her again, she decisively reached out and broke her wrist.

With a loud clang, the candlestick fell heavily to the ground and rolled all the way to the base of the wall.

Number Two, somewhat bewildered, shook his right hand, which hung awkwardly at his sides, looked up at Xiao Cheng, and asked again, "Am I beautiful?"

Xiao Cheng was so enraged that she slapped her unconscious with a chop to the neck, then tossed her out the door, saying, "Go ahead and dream about it."

The wound on her back was aggravated again, and she gasped in pain, but she didn't attack the two half-dead people. Instead, she kicked the mosquito woman's corpse on the ground twice in a fit of rage.

The cloying sweet scent in the air gradually faded, and seeing that Number One and Number Two's breathing gradually calmed down, Xiao Cheng felt a little relieved and turned to go to her room.

Halfway there, worried that something like the Mosquito Woman might appear again, she went back to the next room and picked up the candlestick from the ground.

Although it doesn't seem very useful now, it's better than nothing.

Xiao Cheng casually wiped away the gradually drying bloodstains and rubbed the fine scratches left on the metal surface.

Just then, her arm was suddenly grabbed from behind. Turning around in a daze, she saw Fang He looking at her with a gloomy expression and saying in a cold voice, "Number Six, put it down."
