Chapter 206 Godhood Customization (15)

to be honest.

Xiao Cheng hadn't originally planned to make it this violent.

But this was the fastest and most reliable method she could think of in an instant.

The blue lobster-man stared at the horribly mutilated corpse on the ground, its two pincers trembling as it let out a piercing scream comparable to an air raid siren.

Immediately afterwards, a large group of muscular men in black emerged from all directions, brandishing stun batons and surrounding Xiao Cheng.

Xiao Cheng: "..." This is a bit too much.

"Well... that was a special case just now. I won't do anything again."

She innocently showed the men in black her empty hands to prove that she was really no threat.

But the blue lobster man says, "I don't believe you."

Its body trembled more and more violently, and it scrambled behind the man in black, shouting in panic, "Catch her! This heretic! This is a heretic worse than a heretic!"

"Take her to the interrogation room... No! There's no need for interrogation at all! Just throw her into the deepest part of hell! Let her stay where heretics belong!"

"Hell? All the heretics... Well, have the heretics you caught been sent there?" Xiao Cheng asked.

Unfortunately, no one responded to her.

The strongest of the men in black cautiously stepped forward, holding a stun gun in one hand in front of him, while his other gloved hand went behind his back and pulled out a heavy pair of metal shackles.

The surface of the shackles should be electrified, with occasional crackling currents flashing across them, exploding into tiny sparks.

Xiao Cheng: "..." That's really unnecessary.

"How about we make a deal? We can each compromise. I won't resist, and you won't use this thing to shock me, okay?"

She tried to negotiate with the man in black.

Unfortunately, the man in black was unyielding. He first slapped her with a stun gun without any politeness, and then, taking advantage of her weak legs, he slammed the shackles onto her wrists.

Xiao Cheng was physically numb from the electric shock.

Fortunately, the strong current only lasted for a brief moment, and automatically shut off after confirming that she really did not intend to resist.

The man in black relaxed slightly, then blindfolded Xiao Cheng with a black cloth without saying a word and escorted her forward.

The black cloth was tied very tightly, and Xiao Cheng was completely in darkness, so he could only rely more on his hearing.

The man in black led her through the crowd, not taking the elevator, but walking straight ahead.

The surroundings gradually quieted down, until only the sound of their footsteps remained.

When even the sound of footsteps became extremely faint, the man in black finally stopped.

He ripped off the black cloth and then unlocked the metal shackles on Xiao Cheng's hands.

A cold wind blew, and Xiao Cheng realized that he had been brought to the edge of a cliff. The cliff face was straight down, shrouded in black mist, and bottomless, which was obviously very ominous.

The man in black had no intention of giving her any more time, and without saying a word, he pushed her forcefully: "Get down!"

Xiao Cheng felt her feet slip and then she plummeted uncontrollably downwards. The wind howled in her ears, and the increasingly strong smell of blood and decay filled her nostrils.

"I fucking..."

She gave the man in black on the cliff top a perfectly precise middle finger.

Then there was a muffled thud.

The expected pain did not come. Xiao Cheng felt the sticky sensation beneath her and struggled to stand up, turning her head to look around.

Corpses were everywhere, layer upon layer. The ones on top were relatively fresh, some even still bleeding, indicating they had just died.

She didn't detect any other living creatures, so she squatted down to examine the newly dead bodies.

They were still warm when they were slit in the throat with a single, clean cut.

The person who did it should have left not long ago.

They never even left.

She deliberately slowed her breathing, sensing the murderous intent flashing behind her, then suddenly turned around and raised her hand to block the flying knife.

Both of them stopped moving at the same time.

"Fang He?!"

Xiao Cheng released her grip on the blade, staring in astonishment at the blood-soaked man in front of her.

She didn't know what Fang He had gone through that had caused him to become so disheveled and even... in such a short time.

The eyes were injured.

She frowned, looking at the gauze covering his eyes, which was almost completely soaked in blood.

Fang He turned his head almost imperceptibly: "Xiao Cheng?"

He asked somewhat uncertainly, "You should have left already, why are you here?"

For some unknown reason, his aura suddenly turned icy cold, and he gripped the throwing knife tightly with murderous intent, the blade pressed firmly against Xiao Cheng's throat.

"An illusion? Or some other trick? You're trying to fool me with such a low-level method again?" he said coldly.

Xiao Cheng felt the cold, hard blade and sighed softly.

“It’s me.” She raised her hand and pressed down on Fang He’s hand. “It’s me who’s love-struck and came to go to hell with you.”

A brief silence.

It took Fang He a long time to realize what Xiao Cheng meant. He hurriedly put away his knife and retreated sharply, almost tripping over the corpse.

Xiao Cheng grabbed his wrist.

"What are you doing? Are you seeing a ghost?" She kicked the corpse aside with a sigh, barely clearing a small space where she could step.

"I...I didn't know just now...I didn't hurt you, did I?" Fang He managed to calm down and tentatively raised his hand to touch Xiao Cheng's neck, but stopped halfway and awkwardly withdrew his hand.

"My hands are covered in blood, don't get it on you."
