Chapter 48 The Deadly Travel Group (12)

The clown and all the animals quickly turned to dust and disappeared. The entrance gate to the inner garden slowly opened in front of them, and a blinding light shone from outside, so bright that they couldn't even open their eyes.

Immediately afterwards, even the inner gate disappeared, and they reappeared in the visitor center. The receptionist stood in front of them with a blank face and said in a stiff tone, "Dear guests, the park is closing."

Xiao Cheng was still holding a chainsaw, covered in blood, and looked like a complete terrorist. Player 6 stood beside her, looking completely bewildered and staring at her with terrified eyes.

"You...you guys..." She involuntarily took two steps back. "Why are you doing this? What happened? Didn't we complete that Class B project together?"

"...A Class B project?"

Xiao Cheng threw away the chainsaw and exchanged a thoughtful glance with Fang He.

Then they discovered that Fang He had become transparent, looking like a wandering ghost, as if he could disappear at any moment.

"Holy crap! What's going on?!" She was startled, and before she could react, the red rope pounced on her like a hungry tiger and quickly wrapped around her wrist.

As the light and shadow shifted, she could feel something inside her body being transmitted to Fang He along the rope.

He became solid again, and his pupils glowed with an almost bewitching crimson, but that crimson was only fleeting and quickly returned to normal.

"You..." Xiao Cheng wanted to ask something, but Fang He raised his finger and made a shushing gesture.

So far, of all the players, player number 7 is in the worst condition. He has lost half of his left leg, his face is deathly pale, and he is barely able to support himself by leaning against the wall. The headless and legless woman in blue is tied to him, her hands still groping frantically.

Next was player number 5, covered in wounds of all sizes. Seeking comfort, he leaned against the woman in green, shivering from the cold. Even his hair and eyebrows were covered in a thin layer of frost.

"Dear visitors, are you ready to leave the park?" the receptionist urged.

"Wait a minute, let's savor this a little more, there shouldn't be any problems, right?" Xiao Cheng immediately saw that there was definitely a trap here, turned to the other players and asked, "How many Paradise Points do you guys have?"

“Over a hundred,” Xu Chu answered first. “What’s wrong?”

"Tickets," Player No. 4 said calmly, his gaze towards Xiao Cheng becoming meaningful. "It seems I'm not the only one with this suspicion."

The other players exchanged glances, all of them having considered this possibility.

"Damn it, I almost got ripped off!" Xu Chu cursed under his breath, then turned to the front desk and asked, "What's the price of the tickets?"

"Single ticket 20, package ticket 100, which would you like, esteemed guest?" A fake smile appeared on the front desk's face.

"A package deal!" Xu Chu immediately understood the key point and said through gritted teeth.

Player #6 also collected 100 points and quickly bought a package ticket. Player #7, gritting his teeth, reluctantly said, "Me too..."

“Dear guest, you only need a single ticket,” the receptionist interrupted him.

Number 5 is left.

He looked at everyone in a panic: "Wait, I don't... I don't have that many points, can I... can I..."

“It’s alright, esteemed guest,” the receptionist said to him in a sweet and gentle voice. “You only need one single ticket.”

Everyone received their ticket.

The receptionist led them to the turnstile and bowed deeply to them: "Dear guests, Death Park wishes you a pleasant journey. All that has passed is but a prologue. Once you leave this gate, everything in the park can be wiped clean."

The tour guide waved a black flag and waited impatiently outside. Not far behind her was a van, its body also painted with gaudy patterns.

Xu Chu was the first to walk out. The moment he passed through the turnstile, his pass suddenly burned and turned to ashes.

Next were players number 4 and number 6. The two girls walked out, and their tickets also turned to ashes.

Number 7 and Number 5 nervously clutched their individual tickets, but thankfully nothing happened, proving that they really only needed their individual tickets.

Player #5 breathed a slight sigh of relief. He looked at the tour guide and unconsciously hugged the visitor guide in his arms tighter.

"Honorable guest, aren't you leaving yet?" The receptionist looked at Xiao Cheng with barely suppressed impatience, not even bothering to put on a fake smile. "Is it because of the debt? It's alright, I told you, once you leave the park, everything can be wiped clean."

“No way! I’m a man of my word. I’m a person of integrity.” Xiao Chengyi refused her firmly. “You have to pay me back! If you don’t let me pay back the debt, I’m not leaving this house today!”

The receptionist's face instantly turned grim: "You can give it a try."

“Of course I can try.” Xiao Cheng smiled faintly. “Anyway, the sun won’t set before we all leave.”

She was right.

After a long silence, the receptionist asked in an icy tone, "Are you sure you want to pay it back?"

"I'm sure." Xiao Cheng nodded firmly.

"You too?" The receptionist's gaze shifted to Fang He.

"Of course, the same."

"In that case," the receptionist reached out and touched the red thread, then said coldly, "Congratulations, you have earned 0 amusement park points."

Xiao Cheng and Fang He walked out of the turnstile. The tour guide frowned and looked over with considerable displeasure: "Why did it take so long?"

"I hit it off with the receptionist right away, and we caught up," Xiao Cheng replied casually.

The tour guide didn't press the matter further, gave a curt snort, and then seamlessly switched to a lively mode: "Dear tourists, I'm sure you all have a lot to share with me, right? Let me see your visitor guide; it must have plenty of exciting content!"

She quickly flipped through the players' guides, her searching gaze finally settling on player number 5: "Your player guide is the most unique one!"

Player #5 involuntarily trembled, seemingly feeling quite uncomfortable under her gaze.

"Don't be nervous, let your travel companion comfort you." The tour guide put his hands behind his back, turned around and skipped towards the van. Just as he opened the door, he suddenly clapped his hands as if he had just realized something.

"Oh no! I forgot!" She turned to look at everyone, a mischievous grin spreading across her face. "Just so you know, we've changed vehicles! This is a minivan that can seat twelve people!"

Twelve people.

Excluding the driver and tour guide, it can seat ten people.

"The number of people isn't right, is it?" Xiao Cheng frowned, and the others naturally thought of the same thing, looking at the tour guide warily.

"But it's alright," the tour guide continued with a smile, "Ten tickets for ten people, that's just enough for everyone to sit down."
