Chapter 79 Grades are Paramount (9)



"Outstanding Graduate Works Display Case." Fang He pointed to the slogan at the top of the display case, "Nine out of ten."

"But... what's the point of this?" Xiao Cheng asked, somewhat bewildered. "Just an Easter egg? The game wouldn't do something so pointless, would it?"

The second floor is a music classroom, divided into different cubicles according to different instruments.

Intermittent piano music could be heard coming from one of the small classrooms.

The person playing the piano must be practicing a new piece, repeatedly playing a short section of the same melody.

Once that section was fully mastered, the music stopped abruptly, and a short while later, the door was opened from the inside.

It's number 2.

The moment Xiao Cheng saw her, he was so shocked that he almost completely forgot to breathe.

"Are you also choosing to play the piano?" Number 2 seemed completely oblivious to their expressions and said to himself, "Let's go in, I've just finished."

"Um..." Xiao Cheng watched her leave and couldn't help but call out to her, "Are you going to the cafeteria?"

Number 2 paused upon hearing this, turning back with some confusion: "You look strange."

"No, it's just..." For some reason, Xiao Cheng suddenly felt a strange impulse, "Don't go over there!"

Before she even realized it, she blurted out, "Don't go! You'll die in the cafeteria!"

Suddenly, an extremely noisy sound surged into her ears, as if countless people were whispering close to her.

The noise, like a surging tide, completely engulfed her, and everything in front of her suddenly became distorted, before her eyes were completely submerged in darkness and blood.

In the instant she lost consciousness, Xiao Cheng seemed to see Fang He rushing towards her anxiously, and she instinctively reached out to grab him.

It was as if she had grasped his outstretched hand.
