When the light completely faded, the vines and the glass ward had all disappeared.
The air was filled with the rich fragrance of roses, and the warm sunshine shone down as Su Xin and the other two lay peacefully on the grass.
Fang He was still slightly out of breath from getting rid of the black mist. He quickly calmed himself, walked over to Xiao Cheng, and gently patted her shoulder: "You did a great job."
Xiao Cheng blinked, slightly bewildered: "It's over?" She even felt a little unsatisfied. "That's it?"
"The BOSS is gone, what more do you want?" Fang He said, laughing and crying at the same time. "Is this all? If it weren't for DM's intervention, we would have almost capsized in the gutter and been wiped out."
"DM isn't a florist?" Xiao Cheng exclaimed in surprise, belatedly realizing, "I thought that's why he was so difficult to deal with!"
Fang He hesitated, then said, "I thought you knew."
Xiao Cheng looked completely bewildered: "What should I know?"
"We know that DM is on Su Xin."
"DM is actually on Su Xin?!" Xiao Cheng's pupils dilated in shock, and he turned and ran to Su Xin's side.
Fang He: "..." It's confirmed, so she really didn't know.
Su Xin was still unconscious, with a dark purple mark on her neck from the vines, which looked like it would take a long time to recover.
Xiao Cheng squatted down and carefully poked her face. It was warm and soft, just like a normal person's.
"Is she really? She doesn't seem like it." Xiao Cheng muttered softly, "How can you tell? It's not written on her face."
"No, it's on her," Fang He kindly reminded her. "Look down, even down, under her hair, see?"
Xiao Cheng followed his instructions with a bewildered look, and finally reached out to brush aside a strand of Su Xin's hair.
A pill popped out: "Oh my god, I finally saw it!"
Xiao Cheng: "..." Ha, that's it? All her awe of DM has vanished.
"What kind of reaction is this! This was my carefully crafted disguise! Do you think you can just walk into a dungeon whenever you want!" The pill rolled around to show its dissatisfaction.
Xiao Cheng pressed down on it with one finger: "Little thing, so it was you that Su Xin ate."
No wonder nothing happened; she thought Su Xin was just lucky.
"Show some respect! I saved you!" Pill shouted. "And you almost ruined the dungeon, and I didn't even blame you!"
"So, you were the one using clones last night too." Xiao Cheng moved her finger away. "Did you forcefully advance the game's progress because the BOSS found out?"
The pill stammered for a while without answering her, then jumped in front of Fang He and said, "I've already helped you a little within the rules! As agreed, everything before is wiped clean!"
Fang He nodded: "Okay."
Xiao Cheng watched in shock. The big boss was indeed a big boss; he could even get involved with DM!
"Also, He told me to tell you not to forget your covenant."
As soon as the words were spoken, the pill suddenly became completely blurry and then disappeared without a trace, as if those words had instantly drained all its energy.
Everything in the instance began to be rapidly pixelated. Xiao Cheng never expected to stumble upon such a juicy piece of gossip. Before she could say anything, Fang He had already vanished from her sight.
The surroundings turned into a white expanse, leaving Xiao Cheng alone in the entire space.
"Ding-dong." A crisp electronic notification sound rang in my ears, "Attention all players, the dungeon 'Mental Illness Building' has ended. There are currently 5 surviving players. Players are logging out, and points are being calculated."
Forget it, I'll ask about Fang He next time I see him.
In the instant he lost consciousness, Xiao Cheng thought with relief that at least he had brought Su Xin out alive.
When she woke up again, she was back in her resting place. She was lying on a soft, large bed, and her personal information had been updated on the electronic screen above her head.
[Player: Xiao Cheng]
Number of dungeons cleared: 2
[Points Balance: 3]
You have new points that you haven't reached. Would you like to view the details?
"Yes," Xiao Cheng confirmed.
The page redirects, and new information is loaded.
[Puzzle Dungeon: The Mental Illness Ward]
[Number of players/Number of survivors: 6/5]
Basic score: 5 points
[Hidden Points: 1 point]
[System Evaluation: A promising new player, keep up the good work!]
Returning to the initial screen, her points balance has now increased to 9 points.
As the points balance is refreshed, a small area on the far left of the gray area at the bottom of the screen turns into a visible green area.
There was no information or notes on the green label. Xiao Cheng clicked on it out of curiosity. His blood-red eyes hovered over the screen for a while before a new interface loaded.
It's a gaming forum.
There were only a handful of posts, not even filling a single page. The pinned post was a guide to playing Fragment World, posted directly by the system, and it was the only post that didn't require points to view.
The post was simple, basically saying that they were all carefully selected talents by the system, and hoped they would abide by the rules, work hard to clear the dungeons, and create a better future together. Different dungeons have different characteristics; you'll need to figure out the specific details yourself.
Xiao Cheng doesn't know if she can create a bright future, but she herself has been badly hurt by it.
Looking at the remaining posts, they were all anonymous, and most required two to three points to view. However, judging from the titles, they were probably just spam posts, making people have no desire to click on them.
There was only one exception.
