Chapter 27 The Mental Illness Ward (11)

Just then, a sudden change occurred.

The insects emitted a deafening hiss, and intertwined flower branches darted out from all directions, slithering swiftly along the ground, and one of them wrapped around Xiao Cheng's ankle.

She was dragged heavily to the ground, the barbed thorns digging deep into her flesh, tightening their grip. Blood slowly oozed out, and the stench of blood seemed to further arouse the insects, causing them to thrash about restlessly and swoop towards Xiao Cheng.

Xiao Cheng immediately recognized it; wow, they even had the injections.

Hua Zhi winced in pain and shrank back. Fang He breathed a slight sigh of relief, looked up at the swarm of insects, and reached out to pull Xiao Cheng up from the ground: "Can you run?"

"Yes." Xiao Cheng gritted her teeth and endured the pain, not daring to waste any time, and continued forward with a limp.
