Xiao Cheng touched the spot where the blade had touched her skin. It stung a little, but not badly. It must have just cut her skin, but there was no bleeding.
It's alright, considering how dirty that knife was.
She glanced at the blood-stained blade with some disdain.
"So what exactly happened after you were captured? We rarely see you in such a disheveled state, are you a hidden battle-damaged character?"
“It’s a male merman.” Fang He recalled what had happened before and couldn’t help but frown. “Most of his body had already decayed into a skeleton. He could weave illusions, and his methods were somewhat strange.”
A male merman? So, is he related to that woman?
Xiao Cheng fell into deep thought.
Fang He, not hearing her move for a long time, reached out his hand towards her with some unease: "Xiao Cheng?"
“Yes, I’m here.” Xiao Cheng grasped his hand in return. “Now that I’m here, let’s figure out how to get out of this awful place.”
"This place is under the control of that male merman. At fixed times, the sun will rise, and then these corpses will come back to life and start attacking."
"The sun? This setting is somewhat similar to the zombies from before." Xiao Cheng looked up at the sky, which was gray and gave people an extremely oppressive feeling.

"Such heavy taste?" Fang He couldn't help but chuckle.
Xiao Cheng thought about it in silence for a moment.
It does seem a bit too strong in flavor.
"Putting aside the merfolk, how did you, this heretic, come down here?" Fang He then asked.
Xiao Cheng carefully chose her words before speaking: "It's nothing serious, it's just... I suddenly have a craving for crayfish."
