As Xiao Cheng listened to the increasingly loud chainsaw sound, she felt a chill in the air on the rooftop, as if the wind was so strong that it made her heart feel icy cold.
The clown didn't come alone.
Behind the clown were three lions.
They slowly approached, and seeing that there was nowhere left to retreat, Xiao Cheng swallowed hard, turned around to look behind her, and said, "Seriously, why don't we jump?"
"You know how to use a chainsaw, right?" Fang He suddenly asked.
"Huh?" Before Xiao Cheng could react, the red string on her wrist suddenly loosened on its own. Fang He, with lightning speed, tackled the clown to the ground, grabbed his wrist with his fingers, and twisted it hard, with a crisp cracking sound.
The chainsaw fell to the ground and was kicked by Fang He, landing right in front of Xiao Cheng.
He dragged the clown away from the lion's sharp teeth and shouted at Xiao Cheng, "Attack!"
Xiao Cheng acted faster than anyone could react, picking up the chainsaw and swiftly decapitating the lion.
The foul-smelling blood splattered all over her. She belatedly glanced at the chainsaw in her hand and exclaimed, "Damn it, do they not differentiate between protected species in dungeons?!"
Fang He wrestled with the enraged clown, but he was clearly superior. The clown was quickly overpowered and was thrown off the roof by Fang He's flick of the wrist.
"Oh, my apologies, my apologies." Xiao Cheng peeked at the body at the bottom of the building, which was almost smashed into a muddy mess.
Several animals, drawn by the smell of blood, had already gathered around and were beginning to devour the blood.
Fang He dusted off the dust, straightened his clothes, and slowly walked to Xiao Cheng's side.
The red rope reconnected their wrists.
"Look over there." Fang He gazed into the distance for a moment, then pointed in a direction and said to Xiao Cheng, "That's the river. Do you see the gate by the river?"
"That's the exit?" Xiao Cheng's eyes lit up, and she immediately realized.
“Yes, remember that direction.” Fang He nodded and said, “Take your chainsaw and go for it.”
