Just when Black Feather Island was developing prosperously, Knight Foster finally returned with a letter from Marquis Daniel.
There wasn't much written on it, just a few short sentences. First, Marquis Daniel congratulated Krober on discovering a new type of island. Secondly, on behalf of the Golden Rose Family, he agreed to Krober's invitation and would personally lead a team to explore the Holy Beast Island with Krober.
During the exploration process, Marquis Daniel and the Golden Rose Family are obliged to protect Krober and his forces and support all reasonable military actions of Black Feather Island.
As a reward, Marquis Daniel will enjoy the ownership of an adult griffin. If an accident causes the griffin to die or escape, Black Feather Island will have to pay an equal amount of compensation to Marquis Daniel and the Golden Rose Family.
In the letter, Marquis Daniel also wrote that he would lead his team to set off within two days after Foster left Flower Crown City, and personally take a boat to Black Feather Island to meet with Krober and discuss matters related to the Holy Beast Island.
Although the letter was written in the common grammar and format of letters between nobles, Krober could sense from between the lines the joy and a hint of worry in Marquis Daniel's heart about his grandson discovering the new island.
This is probably the reason why Marquis Daniel led the team personally. After all, he is the strongest in the Golden Rose Family!
As long as he is here, nothing can hurt Krober under his nose.
You know, although Marquis Daniel has now successfully been promoted to Sky Knight, he lacks the foundation that those veteran marquises have.
If there really are griffins on the Holy Beast Island that they are heading to this time, then these griffins will definitely greatly enhance the overall strength of the Golden Rose Family.
More importantly, the appearance of the griffin gave Marquis Daniel hope of becoming a phantom beast knight.
