Chapter 147 The Corroded Elves

When the first ray of sunlight shone on Green Leaf Island, this mysterious island returned to its original appearance.

The vegetation on the island is still lush and vibrant.

They seemed unaffected by last night's events and still exuded a fresh scent.

The canopies of the big trees still block most of the sunlight, making the entire island full of vitality and vigor.

The leaves swayed gently in the breeze, like demons from hell, swaying their seductive figures and whispering in the ears of everyone who looked at the island, tempting them to fall into the lush forests and dense grass among the mountains.

The rustling sound lingered in my ears, as if reminding me of what happened to Krober last night.

Krober stood on the land of Green Leaf Island again with a serious expression.

He searched again and again with his fighting spirit, and ordered the soldiers to dig the ground beneath their feet, trying to find the roots they had seen last night.

But no matter how Kroeber explored or the soldiers dug, they found no insects or roots in the soil.

It was as if Kroeber had had a nightmare last night.

"You guys stay here and keep watch. I'll go to the center of the island and take a look."

"yes!"

Kroeber didn't believe that he was dreaming last night.

Since what happened last night really happened, it further proves that there are secrets hidden in this island.

And Kroeber is going to explore this secret.

The entire western part of the island has been confirmed to be safe, so the only possible secret places are the eastern and central areas.

Based on his intuition, Krober directly chose the central area closest to him as his first target.

After putting the powder bird and other tools in his backpack, Krober, wearing a light armor, headed towards the central area.

Along the way, Krober observed carefully and found that the plants on the island were ordinary plants except for the rotten smell at the roots, without any magical factors.

Unable to see any problems, Krober simply gave up and decided to speed up the investigation of the rest of the area.

If there is no problem on the entire island, he will choose to clean it up directly. He can afford the cost.

Soon, he arrived at the center of the island. It was still a forest, but the Venus flytraps were becoming more dense.

"The Venus flytrap... looks a bit strange. Look towards the densest area."

It stands to reason that a unique plant like the Venus flytrap cannot grow in large patches. This characteristic that goes against the laws of nature can only be achieved by elves.

Then the elf on the Green Leaf Island is most likely the Venus Flytrap Elf, but we don’t know whether it is a small elf or a big elf.

It is unlikely that there will be an Elf Bug, as its coverage area cannot be that large. Only the Elves or the Big Elves can cover the range of the Leafy Island.

"Southeast?"

Kroeber frowned, thinking to himself.

He remembered clearly that when he was riding Griffin for aerial reconnaissance, he did not find anything unusual in this direction.

Fearing that the Venus flytraps might pose a threat to him, Kroeber did not touch them easily.

Instead, he used his excellent jumping ability to leap lightly onto the branches and move nimbly between them.

With every jump, he could feel the breeze brushing against his cheeks, bringing a hint of coolness.

As time went on, Kroeber gradually approached the southeast.

Along the way, Kroeber was surprised to find that not only were the Venus flytraps becoming more and more numerous and dense, but the number of large trees around them also increased significantly.

Originally, the distance between the two trees was quite far, but as he continued to go deeper into the southeast, the distance between the two trees gradually shortened, making the entire environment appear more compact and depressing.

Finally, Krober arrived at his destination.

Standing on the tree, he looked into the distance and his eyes were immediately attracted by the scene in front of him.

There, he saw the source of all the strange phenomena on Green Leaf Island.

"What the hell is this?"

What caught Kroeber's eye was not a bloody insect nest or something like that, but just a Venus flytrap that looked extremely huge.

Rather than calling it a Venus flytrap, it would be more appropriate to describe it as a carnivorous plant.

Even so, Kroeber wouldn't be surprised.

But the problem is that the giant Venus flytrap in front of him looks too normal, and it is completely inconsistent with the weird scene that Kroeber encountered last night.

Moreover, such a huge Venus flytrap can definitely give birth to elves, but Kroeber did not find any trace of elves.

Still the same taste!

That smell that seems normal but is actually completely abnormal!

"Golden Feather Arrow."

No matter whether you are normal or not, I will just take a look at you first.

After a round of dozens of golden-feathered arrows, the huge Venus flytrap was directly pierced through and fell to the ground helplessly.

Kroeber drew his sword and walked towards the body of the Venus Flytrap cautiously.

“Wow…Puff.”

The giant Venus flytrap lying on the ground began to twitch, and with a "puff" sound, a small black shadow was spit out from the place where the digestive fluid was stored towards Kroeber.

Krober subconsciously raised his sword and slashed, but after seeing the specific appearance of the black shadow, he quickly retracted his strength to prevent himself from killing it with one sword.

“Chirp…Chirp.”

What the giant Venus flytrap spewed out turned out to be an elf!

Still a little elf.

However, this elf's appearance looks very strange, and it does not have the affinity that grass, tree, and earth elves have.
