There were many zombies downstairs in the apartment building, but none of them could keep up with Zhang Lin's speed. As long as he wasn't surrounded by zombies, he wasn't in much danger.
This is something he just discovered. Although his physical abilities have tripled, he has only ever used his full potential in bed.
Once outside the apartment, there were fewer zombies, and the view was more open. Even if a zombie tried to attack him, Zhang Lin could spot it in time and run to a safe location beforehand.
He glanced at the subway station. The once bustling night market was now deserted, with only white bones scattered about. Occasionally, zombies would appear, emitting terrifying roars.
Zhang Lin bypassed the subway station entrance where there were many zombies and went onto the main road next to it. There were fewer zombies here, but there were many wrecked cars, and many of them had been turned into cages. The zombies inside were so hungry that they were banging their heads against the glass, but they still couldn't get out.
This gave Zhang Lin some comfort.
Zombies are fast, strong, and have keen senses, making them terrifying enemies. But they have one redeeming quality: they're rather stupid, at least... they can't open car doors.
Following the main road, there were only a few zombies. When Zhang Lin spotted them in the distance, he would shoot at them with his casual marksmanship, firing a dozen or so bullets, and he was sure to hit at least one.
When he reached the open-air subway tracks at the next station, he killed more than a dozen zombies, but used up hundreds of bullets.
Luckily, it's a gun with unlimited ammo.
Zhang Lin felt fortunate.
Having confirmed that the road was relatively safe, Zhang Lin began to return. However, as he approached his apartment, he spotted several familiar faces on the street.
