Tujia Village.
Xu Bai was squatting in the half-tall grass, looking at the group of mutant pigs in front of her that were scattered and eating with their heads down. She counted about twelve of them.
Pigs are omnivorous mammals and are now mostly fed with pig feed. I didn’t expect that after the end of the world, they would even enjoy eating grass so much and make satisfied grunts from time to time.
No wonder they all grew so much bigger.
Xu Bai approached quickly with small steps. As soon as she sprayed the taming water on one of the mutant pigs, she could feel a mental force pulling at it.
"Go to the right and get in the car." Xu Bai said to the mutant pig in front of her, and the mutant pig hummed lightly and walked towards the place she designated.
Can!
Just when Xu Bai wanted to get closer to another mutant pig, the mutant pig seemed to notice her, turned around and snorted, and its fat body almost bumped into her.
The mutant pig was still eating grass with its head down, and from time to time it would turn its head slightly to glance at her, as if it was on guard against her, but was reluctant to leave the good grass in front of it.
Xu Bai: “…”
I don't know if it was her illusion, but I always felt that this head had a lot of spiritual energy. When she glanced and turned her head, it looked very much like a human. If it wore a big red flower, it would be quite charming.
Xu Bai smiled, and then she saw the mutant pig looking at her warily. As soon as she took a step forward, it took a step back.
As soon as she raised her hand, it ducked and leaned forward, ready to attack.
A man and a pig looked at each other.
"Do you understand what I'm saying? If so, nod your head."
The mutant pig standing opposite her grunted and growled, and in a blink of an eye, the mutant pigs that had just scattered around to eat surrounded her. The low grunts kept echoing in her ears. It seemed that these aggressive mutant pigs were about to rush up and bite her to pieces in the next second.
Xu Bai: “…”
"If you come with me, I promise you'll have better food than you have now."
"You don't have to worry about being attacked by other mutant beasts."
“…”
Xu Bai said a lot, but the eleven mutant pigs in front of her remained indifferent, which made her begin to doubt whether she was wrong. Was the mutant pig that was obviously the boss not yet evolved to the point where it could understand human language?
Just as Xu Bai was considering using the animal taming water, the group of mutant pigs rushed up.
Fortunately, Xu Bai reacted quickly and rolled a few times to avoid their attack, but at the same time she also took out a special outdoor climbing rope from her personal space.
Although it seemed that he was being chased by the mutant pigs, Xu Bai had actually circled around them several times.
After Xu Bai tightened the rope, he quickly moved closer to a mutant beast and sprayed the taming water on it. Just as he was about to take a few steps back, a mutant beast rushed up next to him. He dodged but was still pulled by the mutant pig on his clothes. With a ripping sound, half of his sleeve was torn off.
What was originally a good sports short-sleeved shirt became a half-sleeveless vest T-shirt.
There were minor scratches on the sleeveless arm.
If she hadn't reacted quickly, it wouldn't have been just a minor scratch.
Xu Bai controlled the tamed mutant pigs and rammed them hard into other mutant pigs. Then, with the help of the tamed mutants, she quickly tied up all of the mutants. Some of them were even sprayed with taming water.
After being sprayed, three or four mutant pigs sat obediently next to each other, also tied with ropes, forming a sharp contrast with the mutant pigs tied up on the other side that were not struggling.
Especially the mutant pig that was the boss, it struggled even harder.
Xu Bai walked forward, squatted on its back, and stuck the dagger firmly into the grass, only a few centimeters away from the mutant pig's eyes.
The mutant pig paused for a moment, then its body trembled continuously, and its eyes rolled up.
Xu Bai punched it in the stomach, using all her strength.
Although the mutant pig had a lot of fat on its body, it could clearly feel the pain where it was hit, and the pain made its groans become much more shrill.
"Do you understand? Come with me, or will I kill you right now?"
Xu Bai punched again, and seeing that the mutant pig still didn't nod, he punched again and again.
She wasn't sure if the beast could understand, but besides the taming water, the only way to make it leave willingly was to trade food.
After being punched four or five times, the mutant pig finally nodded, and upon closer inspection, tears were in its eyes.
Xu Bai breathed a sigh of relief. These four or five punches not only hurt the mutant pig, but her hands were also very painful.
In fact, if the mutant pigs hadn't compromised, she would have to consider using animal taming water.
Xu Bai put away the dagger that had been stuck next to him, and his hand holding the dagger was shaking non-stop.
The mutant pig roared, and the other mutant pigs that were still struggling instantly quieted down.
Xu Bai patted the mutant pig's face again: "You have to behave yourself, Liantou and your little brothers, otherwise..."
The mutant pig shuddered and nodded quickly.
Before the end of the world, there was a truck in Tujia Village that was used to transport pigs. The pig pens were still on the truck and had not been removed.
A total of twelve mutant pigs were loaded onto the truck one after another.
Fortunately, the truck is quite big, otherwise it might not be able to accommodate these ten or so mutant pigs.
After Xu Bai locked the door, he drove the small truck carrying the mutant pigs away from Tujia Village and returned to Shuguang City.
In Dawn City, everyone has work to do, such as building walls, clearing weeds, and setting up pig pens. Everyone is busy with their own things, but they all have a common goal: to build Dawn City.
