Chapter 20: A car?

Chapter 20: A sedan?

"I don't know if improving my physique will give me the ability to be immune to the zombie virus."

Fang Bai whispered. After taking off his motorcycle helmet, thick cotton coat, paper armor raincoat, and two pairs of jeans, Fang Bai felt light and cool all over. He felt very comfortable and flexible.

But there is a lack of security.

Fang Bai stroked the zombie wristband on his left hand. The wristband looked like it was made of metal and covered the entire forearm.

If the situation arises, the zombie wrist guards may be able to serve as protective gear to block some attacks.

"It would be great if I could get a full set of light armor. It would not only maintain my current flexibility but also provide considerable defense, and it would also add a lot of attributes."

Fang Bai shook his head slightly, and after a short rest, he left the underground parking lot carrying a four-barrel quiver on his back and a compound bow in his hand.

I glanced at the experience bar, and it was now almost one-fifth full.

After looking at the experience points, Fang Bai immediately began to clean up the battlefield. After a quick look, Fang Bai discovered that not even a piece of equipment had been dropped, only some copper coins.

Seeing this, Fang Bai could only collect the arrows and pick up the copper coins, while complaining about the equipment explosion rate.

Not many of the recovered arrows can be used. After all, zombies are shot at the skull. Although Fang Bai chose weak areas as much as possible, most of the arrows still directly contact and collide with the skull.

Once an arrow hits a hard object, it will basically be damaged. If the damaged arrow continues to be used, it may explode.

Fang Bai was unwilling to accept the feeling of disfigurement or hand injury, so the damaged parts had to be thrown away.

However, Fang Bai will use his mental power to scan each one and if he is sure that there is no damage, he will continue to recycle it.

Out of more than twenty arrows, Fang Bai only recovered less than ten, and two of the original four-barrel quivers were empty.

Fang Bai didn't go home to get it, but went straight into the club to replenish supplies, where there were plenty of arrows.

When Fang Bai went in, Bai Qing and the others were still practicing. Fang Bai said hello and came out again, then continued to move forward.

The operation is exactly the same as before. First, shoot the strongest zombie from a long distance to eliminate the biggest threat, and then stand still and kill the charging zombies.

But this time it was different. A piece of equipment seemed to slowly emerge from the body of the strong zombie.

Fang Bai was stunned when he saw this.

"Equipment exploded?"

Fang Bai was a little surprised, but he didn't rush to pick up equipment. Instead, he continued to shoot zombies.

When the zombies rush in front of you, turn around and run, draw your bow and arrow while running, then jump back and release the string.

Swoosh! The arrow shot through the air and hit a zombie's neck, nailing it there. The zombie's neck tilted and he fell to the ground. He was not dead, but he could not get up. It was probably because his spine was broken.

"Ah, I got it!"

Fang Bai was happy. This was the first time he hit the target in this way. Although it was a little off, it was not much of a difference.

Immediately, Fang Bai continued to practice, and soon he was able to turn around and shoot arrows while running without slowing down.

Ordinary people might not dare to turn around and shoot arrows so boldly, but for Fang Bai who has the ability to detect with mental power, this is no problem at all.

Arrow by arrow, Fang Bai tried to shoot each arrow in this way, trying hard to adapt to this rhythm.

This group of zombies were soon all killed by Fang Bai. Fang Bai started to walk back, collecting arrows and copper coins along the way, and killing the zombie that was still alive.

When he walked to the corpse of the strong zombie, Fang Bai felt a little expectant when he saw the hatchet wrapped in a faint white light on the zombie's body.

I picked it up and took a look at it immediately.

"Equipment: a worn-out hatchet."

"Effect: Strength +1."

“Click to equip.”

The so-called hatchet is actually the ancient Pudao, a thick and straight-backed blade without a tip. The handle is in the shape of a metal ring. It is a short weapon when held in the hand, and a long weapon when equipped with a long wooden pole. It is very common in the countryside.

But

"Click to equip?"

Although Fang Bai was currently using a compound bow, his eyes lit up when he saw this attribute.

"I don't use this equipment, but does it count as equipment if I carry it with me?"

Fang Bai didn't hesitate and clicked on the equipment immediately.

A white light flashed, and Fang Bai suddenly felt that his strength had increased again. He opened the attribute panel and took a look.

"Level: Level 3."

"Strength: 10 (6)."

"Constitution: 5."

"Agility: 5 (4)."

"Spiritual power: 11."

"Free attribute points: 0."

Seeing that the strength attribute points increased from nine points to ten points, Fang Bai was immediately happy.

“It really works.”

Fang Bai immediately put the knife on his waist, and felt more relieved after confirming that the attribute blessing was still there.

"If this is all possible, I wonder if I can become a dual-blade user. If not, one sword and one knife will do. If I can add another sword to my mouth, three swords will be acceptable."

Fang Bai felt the strength that had reached the limit of human power, so he found a rope and two wooden boards. He first used the wooden boards to tie the hatchet in the middle, and then put the hatchet in a bow bag to carry it.

"Okay, okay, ten points of strength should be enough for me to defeat these zombies."

Fang Bai stretched his body, glanced at the experience bar, and immediately decided to continue killing zombies.

There was no danger, and he could gain experience and get equipment. For a moment, Fang Bai's discomfort caused by taking off his cotton-padded clothes and paper armor gradually disappeared.

At this moment, Fang Bai suddenly heard the sound of a car and was stunned.

"Car? Who's driving?"

Fang Bai felt somewhat confused and immediately ran over to check.

The sound of the car came from the road near the exit of the community garage. There were no zombies there, so Fang Bai could go over and check directly.

When he got over there, Fang Bai discovered that a white car was driving at high speed towards a group of zombies.

"Kill zombies? That's not that easy."

Fang Bai shook his head slightly when he saw this. He had had this idea before, but he gave it up later. The reason was very simple. Fang Bai watched the car drive past, but he saw that the zombies all scattered before they were hit. These zombies either moved to the sides of the road or hid behind other cars on the road. The car didn't hit any zombies when it hit them.

After the zombies dispersed, the cars on the road ahead forced the white sedan to slow down and pass carefully.

But as soon as he slowed down, the zombies that had scattered before pounced on him, and Fang Bai vaguely heard some sounds of glass breaking.

However, the car window was obviously covered with film. The glass was broken, but not completely, and it still blocked the zombies. The car owner was so frightened that he stepped on the accelerator and crashed his car into the car in front.

Seeing that he was blocked in front of him, he quickly reversed and tried to get out, but he was surrounded by zombies. The car owner probably had no vision, and when he reversed, he bumped into the car he had just bypassed.

This impact crippled several zombies, and the car was stuck in the middle, ramming back and forth crazily, with the cars in front and behind being slightly pushed apart.

But before Fang Bai could create a path on the road, he heard a shrill scream.

After a while, the white car completely stopped moving.
