Chapter 42 Hotel Renovation
Before leaving, Bao Taozi and No. 1 agreed that they would bring all the exchanged items and arranged people to the hotel in three days.
The train returned to Taozi Hotel. After getting off the train, everyone was reluctant to leave and was busy asking Bao Taozi when the train would start working.
"Starting today, anyone who wants to ride can buy a ticket at the card swipe area at the train door. Adults pay 100 points per trip, and children 50 points. Because we have fewer people now, we only have two round trips per day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Everyone can arrange their own time."
The crowd cheered!
Bao Taozi quickly checked the dashboard. Excited by the new amenities he'd just received, he knew it was time for a major hotel upgrade! He cashed out all his points first, a staggering 730,000 points in total. The public's spending power was truly exceptional.

The basic facilities are almost complete. Bao Taozi stretched his body and prepared to show off his skills.
First, starting from the main building, draw a main road in front, behind, left and right, and plant green plants on both sides of the main road.
In front and to the right of the main building is the residential area. The hotel building sits in the middle, surrounded by a circle of mushroom houses. After careful consideration, they decided ten mushroom houses were too few, so they added ten more, surrounding the hotel. A tent area was crucial. After all, the hotel hadn't yet developed all those rooms, and the tents were their own, free of charge. Not everyone in this small world of hotels can afford to live in hotels and mushroom houses. The tent area is in the upper right corner, closest to the wall. Even though it's right next to the wall, Bao Taozi has meticulously decorated it. A small campsite is set up in front, and the entire tent area is lit up by small lights, like countless fireflies, creating a unique and rustic atmosphere.
The living area, or commercial area, is located to the left and front of the main building. The commercial building is placed in the center, and the outdoor activity area and milk tea shop are placed together near the main street. After this, there's still quite a bit of open space, but Bao Taozi doesn't plan to put anything else there. While the activity area currently has few things, it will definitely expand in the future.
To the right rear of the main building is Bao Taozi's planned administrative area, placing the hospital and the Supervisory Office close to the main road, the research institute at the back against the wall, and the staff dormitory also to the right rear, near the main building. This area is complete.
At the back left, in the middle, is the school, with the charity house next to it. The farm and pond are placed against the wall at the back left.
There are many vacant spaces in each area, which are extended in a fan shape, and there are small paths at the entrances connecting to the main road.
Then place a sycamore tree every three meters along the path, and suddenly the entire hotel is decorated with sycamore trees into a golden fairy tale paradise.
Bao Taozi thought about the scene of the road covered with sycamore leaves and was truly amazed by its beauty.
Infrastructure is also essential. There are public toilets near the tent area, seats and technological trash cans along Wutong Road, and public fitness centers in the residential area.
Bao Taozi also used his points to buy an empty room, which was also decorated in a white fairytale style, but there was nothing inside. This was intended to house vending machines and delivery machines. Other bases could only go to vending machines or shopping malls to buy supplies. They couldn't have everyone queuing up in the hotel lobby to buy, as this would greatly affect the residents' stay experience.
After that, people from other bases would come to this room to buy things because it was closer to the door and more convenient for transportation.
Everyone hugged each other excitedly as they looked at the huge changes in the hotel. It was becoming more and more perfect and more and more like a home!
Looking at the happy people, Bao Taozi prepared to give everyone another surprise. The hotel rooms had not been upgraded for a long time, and the mushroom house was just a preset one.
It's time to upgrade.
First of all, the hotel rooms. Bao Taozi asked the system to notify everyone to go out, as the hotel rooms needed a major upgrade.
The eight rooms on the first floor were reserved for single occupancy. The single rooms are single-story apartments, with a shoe cabinet and storage cabinets to the left of the entrance, and paintings and mirrors to the right. To minimize rent increases and avoid adding new rooms, frosted glass separates the living room and bedroom. The bedroom is located by a large floor-to-ceiling window, allowing for abundant light. The bedroom has a bed and wardrobe. Opposite the bed, a door leads to the bathroom, which features a private bathroom, a toilet, and a sink. While small, it has everything you need. The living room features a bean bag and a coffee table, with a desk and chair next to it. Above the desk is a hanging bookshelf. A small door opens across from the living room, leading to the kitchen, equipped with a range hood and induction cooktop, a sink, refrigerator, and microwave.
This is the single room on the first floor.
Next are the second and third floors, both of which are set up as two bedrooms and a living room.
After entering the house and passing through the hallway, you'll find the living room and dining table. The living room features a large sofa and coffee table, next to a white dining table and chairs, and a desk against the wall. To the right are two doors, one leading to a kitchen and the other to a bathroom, though larger than the first-floor rooms. To the left are two bedrooms, adjacent to each other. One has a more mature decor, the other a more vibrant one.
Next up are the Mushroom Houses. There are currently twenty of them, and Bao Taozi has chosen ten of them as duplexes for singles or couples. Upstairs are bedrooms, while downstairs is a kitchenette, bathroom, and living room. The decor is wooden, and while not as large as the hotel's ground floor, they are stand-alone and more beautifully decorated.
The remaining ten mushroom houses are single-family homes with two bedrooms and a living room. Each mushroom house is equipped with a small garden in front.
After finishing these decorations, Bao Taozi stretched.
[Congratulations to the host for making the hotel even better. The system rewards you by opening all eight rooms on the fourth floor and the elevator.]
Bao Taozi's one-click decoration was a pleasant surprise.
Unable to wait to see everyone's reaction, Bao Taozi quickly asked the system to notify them.
Dear guests of the Peach Hotel, the hotel is undergoing a major upgrade. Please bring your points card to the hotel to rebook your room. The hotel will provide free room changes for a limited time. All eight rooms on the fourth floor are now open, and the elevator is also available.
The crowd was in an uproar, filled with excitement. Some people had long wanted to live with their families, and some people in tents had long wanted to move into buildings, especially now that there were elevators!
