Chapter 37: First Visit to the Magic City

Magic City Airport.

Louis stood in the bustling crowd with his ID card in his hand. He looked at the ID card in his hand and looked up at the tall and broad dome of the Magic City Airport.

He has two oversized suitcases, one on his left and one on his right, which together weigh as much as he does. These were the luggage that Lu's parents temporarily piled up for Louis on his trip home. If he packs them up properly, Louis might even have to hang a large luggage backpack on his shoulders.

It’s either a quilt or a pillow, and some snacks for the journey.

Louis arrived at the Magic City Airport.

Modu is one of the most prosperous cities in the Tang Dynasty. It is an international metropolis with five centers of global influence, namely the global economic center, trade center, financial center, shipping center, and scientific and technological innovation center.

According to Lao Du, after arriving at the Shanghai Airport, just wait there obediently and someone will come to find him.

If it weren't for his position, Du Xing would have wanted to come with Louis.

Du Xing was very optimistic about Louis, his friend regardless of age difference. Not only did they have similar personalities, but most importantly, Louis's extraordinary talent was truly amazing.

The airport in Shanghai is actually not much different from the airports in other cities.

They are all circular indoor squares, surrounded by various shops, with several rows of benches in the middle for passers-by to rest.

Louis sat on the bench and began a long wait.

What made Louis feel a little strange was that there was a pretty blonde girl sitting on the bench opposite him who was looking at him as if she had seen a ghost.

It's a bit weird and uncomfortable.

Louis tightened his casual clothes and crossed his legs.

Playing with the phone, turning your head away, avoiding the other person's sight.

But to Louis' surprise, the pretty blonde girl on the other side walked straight over to him and said, "Hello, my name is Xia Qianqing."

"Are you the contact person?"

Louis coughed violently a few times. No, he was still wondering why the other party was staring at him for such a long time. Was he here to take the assessment like him?

And for some unknown reason he regarded himself as the contact person?

And he came straight to the point? Was the other party so sure that he was the contact person?

Why?

Although it was fun to pretend to be a contact, Louis didn't think it was ethical.

Louis sighed and shook his head: "I'm sorry, you've made a mistake. I'm not the contact person. I'm here to take the assessment just like you."

Hearing Louis' words, Xia Qianqing was petrified.

She seemed a little confused and couldn't believe that Louis came to take the test just like her.

But Xia Qianqing reacted quickly and apologized to Louis: "I'm sorry, I made a mistake."

After apologizing, Xia Qianqing sat down next to Louis, and the fragrance from her body even went straight into Louis' nose.

Louis raised his eyebrows, but said nothing.

What's there to be picky about when a beautiful woman sits next to you? Besides, this is a public place and the other person is willing to sit there, and he has no jurisdiction over it.

Just like that, the atmosphere fell silent again.

If we exclude the little glances that Xia Qianqing gave me from time to time.

Louis had a headache. He didn't think it was because he was too handsome that the little fan girl threw herself at his face.

Moreover, the other party asked me right away if I was the contact person. It was obvious that he had something to rely on for that reason.

But what exactly would make the other party mistakenly believe that you are the contact person?

Since ancient times, sudden closeness is either a sign of adultery or theft.

Time passes by every second.

The crisp sound of leather shoes stepping on the ground rang in my ears.

Louis slowly raised his head, and so did Xia Qianqing beside him.

The man was wearing a well-tailored black suit and carrying an exquisite handbag.

An ordinary Asian face, with a cold samurai sword slung across his waist, walked slowly towards Louis with an elegant demeanor, speaking a slightly stiff but quite fluent Chinese, and said with a smile: "Hello, my name is Miyamoto Keiji."

"I am of Chinese and Japanese descent. Can I sit next to you?"

Louis was slightly startled, wondering: What's wrong with everyone today? Why do they have to get close to me?

He blinked and responded politely, "Of course."

Miyamoto Keiji started to greet him. "Five years ago, I had been living in Yamato. My father was from the Tang Dynasty. We just moved to the Tang Dynasty five years ago. My Chinese may still be a little bit inadequate."

"I haven't asked for your name yet. Please take care of me in the future."

After saying this, Miyamoto Keiji stretched out his hands, stood up gracefully and bowed slightly.

Louis was a little stunned, but still followed basic etiquette and briefly introduced himself.

"Hello, my name is Louis."

Louis slowly stretched out his hands and briefly shook hands with Keiji Miyamoto.

"I firmly believe that during the test period, we will become a strong competitor."

"You are a strong man, Mr. Louis, and I respect you with all my heart."

Miyamoto Keiji stated bluntly.

Louis subconsciously became alert. In fact, as early as when he saw the samurai sword on Miyamoto Keiji's waist, he realized that the other party was very likely here to take the assessment like himself, but the other party's words still made him a little nervous. Was he declaring war on him?

Moreover, on what basis did he judge himself to be a strong man?

Although he was full of doubts, Louis still answered politely: "I don't deserve the title of a strong man, just call me Louis."

"Oh oh oh, so your name is Louis." Xia Qianqing beside him whispered.

Miyamoto Keiji glanced at Xia Qianqing and said, "Hello, you are here to take the test as well, right? I can sense that you are not weak."
