Four days passed quietly.
After a few minor matches, it was finally Louis and Shi Yang's teams' turn to meet.
This makes it difficult for Louis to believe that there is no shady manipulation in the newcomer assessment.
After so many draws, Louis and Shi Yang never faced each other.
It didn't make sense until the very end.
This is so fake.
In fact, it was indeed a behind-the-scenes operation, which was to prevent the seeded players from colliding with each other in advance and not getting the expected results.
On the ring.
Shi Yang looked at Louis and others standing in clear positions on the opposite side and said with a smile: "Finally I met you guys."
"After playing so many small fish tournaments, we finally encountered one that we can warm up with."
Hearing the hidden meaning in the other party's words, Louis didn't care. The corners of his mouth slightly raised to reveal a smile: "Really?"
"But I think it's still a small-time competition. Is there any difference between you and them in my eyes?"
"Trash fish, just trash fish."
Wen Sheng, who was behind Louis, pushed his glasses silently and said to Yin Yun beside him, "Why did the captain say the villain's lines?"
"I don't know." Yin Yun looked bewildered. Why did both sides start mocking each other out of the blue? And it seemed that their captain spoke more harshly.
When Shi Yang mentioned warming up, he was actually mocking them for only being worthy of warming him up.
But Louis' words directly classified Shi Yang and the others into the trash zone. It may not seem like a big deal, but what if someone calls you a Japanese devil?
The feeling comes out.
"Trash...haha, I hope you are not just a talker." Shi Yang sneered.
Louis waved his hand: "Don't be like that, I didn't say anything wrong."
These words immediately made Shi Yang's face darken. Okay, okay, you are calling them trash in a roundabout way, right?
"Then let's see the truth with our own hands!" Shi Yang said with a gloomy expression.
"Look, your face is dark. This is a sign of defeat." Louis pointed at Shi Yang's dark face and continued to mock him.
On the rostrum, Shen Tianzong covered his mouth and couldn't help laughing for a while, "It's true that one thing conquers another. Shi Yang was originally quite good at talking, but when he met Louis, he became a living target and was only sprayed."
"I've heard of this before." Zhang Jin silently wiped the cold sweat from his forehead.
Not only is he vicious-tongued, sometimes he is simply a scoundrel!
but......
When Zhang Jin thought about how Louis served tea and water at the dining table that day, acting like a junior, he couldn't feel angry anymore.
"What a little fox. I don't know who he learned to be so smooth and mean from." Zhang Jin said, covering his forehead.
He remembered that Louis' profile said he was a nice guy, quite smooth-talking, although he was a bit of a pushover, but how come he has now turned into a...sly little fox.
Could it be that after entering the Night Drifters, he met someone who led him astray?
Zhang Jin was daydreaming when Shi Yang in the audience urged him, "Captain Zhang, aren't we going to start yet? We are all ready!"
Zhang Jin looked at Louis, only to see that Louis was also looking at him, without a trace of panic on his face.
This brat, he can’t use his other abilities, but he’s still so steady.
Don’t be afraid of overturning!
Zhang Jin asked Louis, "Louis, are you ready?"
"OK!" Louis made an OK gesture.
"Okay then. Now count down to three and the game officially begins. Three, two, one."
"start!!!"
Following Zhang Jin's order, Louis and Shi Yang quickly entered into a confrontation. Different from the rapid confrontations with other teams before, both sides were extremely cautious at this moment and did not launch attacks rashly. The air was filled with tension, as if time had stopped.
"This is a true battle between masters. Undercurrents are surging, and victory or defeat is just a matter of thought."
"No way, why do I feel like they didn't hear the start instruction?"
"You don't understand, this is called the style of a master! Haven't you heard of the duel between Ximen Chuixue and Ye Gucheng on the top of the Forbidden City? When the real masters fight, it's all about mentality, who can keep calm and who can see through the opponent's flaws. Now they seem to be standing still, but in fact they are observing in secret, looking for the best time to attack. This is much more exciting and dangerous than those battles that just start blindly. If you are not careful, you may lose everything."
......
On the rostrum.
Shen Tianzong suddenly asked Zhang Jin: "Who do you think will win?"
Zhang Jin scratched his head. "It's hard to say. After all, Louis' current strength requires him to hide most of his abilities. If he only has [Immortality] left, Louis' strength will definitely be greatly reduced. If he really faces Shi Yang and Du Zhirou, he might not be able to defeat them."
"But if we really want to say who will win, I still think Louis will win. As for the reason... although his record of killing the horse-faced man alone was a trick, I still think it's too scary."
"Horse-Faced is currently known to be a captain of the Court of All Living Things whose strength is in the middle to lower reaches. He is quite powerful. Even I will not be able to win easily."
Shen Tianzong nodded, he held his chin with one hand, looked at Louis under the stage, and raised the corners of his mouth slightly: “I think there is no suspense.”
"Of course a mortal cannot beat a genius."
"This is something that has already been determined by fate."
At this moment, the atmosphere on the ring was tense.
Shi Yang was provoked by Louis, and although he was furious, he was not a reckless person and did not act impulsively, especially when facing an opponent like Louis.
"Don't you say we are just trash? Why don't you take action?" Shi Yang challenged.
Louis's expression was calm and contemptuous: "How dare we attack you first? What if I let you make a move?"
